Yay new Mayuyu single! :3 the pv is... Kinda creepy.

With how her body and hands are just kinda floating around the room and she's all skipping around them singing happily~

The Mayuzka46 song is also interesting. I don't really like Nogizaka46 or there style, but this songs great! Please don't stop wearing your twintails Mayuyu! You look cutest in them! >.<

In comparison:
- First day sales of her debut single were 50,145
- First day sales of FK - Romance Privacy: 47,194

24% less than Synchro would make the estimated first week sales around 93K. However, Synchro had a great run.
If we compare it with FK's Romance Privacy, Mayu is looking at at first week sales of around 72K. However, this is Mayu we're talking about and there's no telling what will happen

This is what sucks about AKB48. It's genius really, they're keeping the demand high by making access to the event limited.

For example, for Wasamin's solo event at the AKB48 cafe 40.000 people applied for only around 100 spots. 40K! Imagine how many applications there will be for Mayu's events. Similar story for NotTV, the shows at the theater, etc, etc.

Nacchan looked good and fairly relaxed considering the situation. She had a lot more free time to think about the whole situation than Mayu did, so in her own mind she's probably put it behind her a lot more than Mayu could have.

I was hoping for better numbers (2nd place per NINKI poll returns would've been nice) for the first day. Hope the wotas and overseas fans will lift the numbers in the coming days?

Hmm... percentage wise that is about the same.

Not the boost we were hoping for just yet.

Possible reasons for lower sales:
- Fans overspent on the election.
- Too many AKB48 related releases, everybody is broke.
- Fans don't wanna support N46, the rivals.
- Fans don't want anything that includes Nacchan.
- Mayu's mature image --> we want twin tails!

edit: She's got a good lead on Tomochin. She needs to average 4K each day, which should be no problem. If the trend continues she'll end up around 80K, which is still very good imo.

Mayu: 38,109 + 18,473 = 56,582
Tomo: 37,038 + 13,595 = 50,633
