Chapter 1
“30 Yabakune students…impressive,” a laugh rang out from being Yuko before the eerie praise followed.
The short girl, half tired from the fight, half excited from the possibility of a new opponent turned around; Light brown orbs gleaming from the anticipation of an impending good fight, thin pale lips, long straight hair combed to right, revealing a clean, porcelain and pretty face. Lifting her right hand into her mouth, the stranger made a peculiar ‘tuk’ sound letting out a blood-chilling laughter.
“Hey, are you mad?”
A fist flew in Yuko’s direction, missing the girl by a mere distance as she took a step back and away from the attack before jumping back in and throwing a fist up the girl’s tummy. The girl fought back, grabbing Yuko like a doll then flinging her across the court before dropping onto her and landing a hard punch across her face. And another and one more across the right side of Yuko’s face, hard enough to draw blood. Gathering all her strength, Yuko grabbed the girl by her arms and threw her away from herself, getting up just in time to shield her side from kick from the crazy girl.
This was one fight that Yuko had never experience before. The sinister laugh continued to ring out as Yuko held onto the girl, knee-kicking her up on her tummy area. It took a few knee-kicks before the girl managed to grab hold of Yuko’s leg, successfully flipping the situation around with a kick to Yuko’s side hard enough to make the girl fell back onto the ground.
Tired as she was, Yuko’s never one who gives up on a good fight, and never one that loses.
The mindless fight continued as both started to feel both strength and blood to drain from them; finally, one landed itself hard on the top of the girl’s left eye, scratching the girl enough to bleed furiously, blinding the girl temporarily as warm liquid seeped itself into her eye. The girl roared both in pain and frustration and Yuko paused as she watched the girl gestured around wildly, trying her best to stop the blood from irritating her eye anymore.
Yuko, grabbing the cloth around her collar, with a few quick strides towards the crazy girl, started wiping the blood off her.

Mariko sat across the field, catching her breath after a fulfilling yet tiring fight. 18 Yabakune students; not too bad a feat for the freshman, but it’s hardly impressive to Mariko seeing that she had trouble standing upright after the fight.
She likes fighting.
To her, it’s one of the few things that she could do right. She enjoys the rush of adrenaline flooding through her veins whenever there’s an impending good fight, the sudden hit of pain from her opponents’ attacks that jolt her senses awake to retaliate and finally the taste of victory whenever her opponents fall like dominos under her punches.
There’s no reasons why Mariko fights; she just does.
“It’s in my blood,” she mumbled, wiping off the trail of blood from her broken lip and laughed as the pain stung her enough to draw a drop of sweat, standing up to head back to school, eager for another fight.

“Say, what’s your name?”
Catching her breath after the fight, Yuko joined the girl on the grass patch, lying down and watching the setting sun in the far horizon. “Matsui,” the girl replied softly, a far contrast with her crazy self a while ago during the fight.
Yuko chuckled.
“Matsui?” the short girl pondered. That was kind of mild. Scrape that, it’s too mild.
“Haven’t seen you around in school,” turning her head to the girl, Yuko realized she wasn’t dressed in the typical Majisuka Gakuen’s dark blue outfit.
“Where are you from?”

The bell chimed in Yagi Girls School signaling the end of the school day, though not many people really care. Atsuko grabbed her bag and proceeded out of the classroom, making a mental note to get some light food before making her way to Minami’s place.
School had been a chore to sit through without her best friend.
—-
“No where. I don’t think I’m suited for school,” Matsui replied, heaving a deep sigh that seemed to say more than what was spoken.
Yuko furrowed her brows; as much as she loves fighting, she knows that will not be something that she can do for the rest of her life, and that was why she enrolled into a school, well other than because her grandmother forced her to, and that school is none other than Majisuka Gakuen, a yankee school.

“Minami~” turning the knob and pushing the door open, Atsuko’s bright voice lit up the somewhat gloomy little apartment. Dropping the bags of groceries onto the dining table, she made her way down the hallway and stopping in front of a familiar door.
Pushing the pink door slightly ajar, Atsuko peeped in to see a sleeping Minami as a smile slowly creep its way up onto the younger girl’s lips. Closing the door once again, the best friend made her way to the kitchen, wanting to cook something for the sick Minami.
“Such an irony,” Atsuko mumbled, unpacking the bags of groceries that she painstakingly carried to Minami’s place. “To think she had to miss school because she caught a cold by being under the rain,” maneuvering her way around the kitchen as though it’s her own, Atsuko took out the pots from the drawer in the far corner and starting boiling water.
“Instead of because she got beat the crap out by the other girls from a fight,” cutting up the chicken fillets into tiny strips, Atsuko dropped them into the boiling water while stirring the simmering porridge. “But then again, she’s too strong to be beaten the crap out of,” turning off the heat, Atsuko ladled out a bowl of porridge to let it cool enough before waking up Minami.
“And she has me.”
-
“Majisuka Gakuen.”
“Hmm…?”
“Join my school, Majisuka Gakuen.”
“I know it’s your school. It’s very evident with the outfit that you are wearing. Why?”
“No why. You’ll need it for your future.”
“I don’t have one. Why are you so nice to me?”
Yuko stopped in her tracks and looked at the taller girl; the sharp features that were no longer covered in blood on the pretty face, the seemingly innocence that were untainted despite how tough she actually is and…
“I don’t know,” Yuko started, giving a slight shrug.
“I just felt like being nice to you.”

AN: I don't write fight scenes well, or rather, I can hardly write fighting stuffs. I only decided to do this because I really wanted a story before Majisuka 1, and seeing that we'll never have it, I've decided to write one myself. And I've always been writing love stuffs, so there might be more lovey dovey scenes in this version of Majisuka that in 1&2 combined. (:
And I don't update often. It will go onto tumblr first though but I'll try to make sure I update both here and on tumblr at the same time.
