A not brand new but very indie idol unit based in Ikebukuro... they might be kinda unknow but they have a nice website, a youtube channel with videos, blogs and twitters for each girl and lately they went to Tsuntube for the Kiracon fight segment and did very good.

Also they are gravure or model girls (some of them at least)

Rion had a solid gravure career, but is seems she left it behind to commit to CLEAR'S (and Black Muscats

) so maybe they're doing fine in terms of fans/money... they started as a 4 girl group, did a contest or something to get 2 new members, and seem to be expanding again... Rion is also the captain, lyricist and probably is in other creative stuff...

Well well well...looks like Ms. Sakamoto is making a name for herself

It's not really that far fetched to see her in a bubbly J-pop group like this compared to the tough personal she has displayed on her days with the Muscats, so taking this role looks like it can be suitable for her. I've never seen her as a leader of a group, so that is also something new I've seen of her. Perhaps she can carry this J-Pop group to new heights come April and later, when this will be her only J-Pop group to stick with.

It's so different compared to what I've seen of her throughout the past few years...

Perhaps she can bring some of the CLEAR'S girls, or maybe just a couple like Ruka and Honoka, to do a collaboration with the Ebisu Muscats. But she's gonna have to do it pretty quickly though...

Either way I like the direction Ms. Rion Sakamoto is going.

CLEAR'S been around for a while, since before Rion joined EM, if recalled correctly

She was in a group before, back in 2007 or so, called Bisu Music Club which was kinda a big deal, produced by BOMB! magazine with a concept similar to idoling!!!, Rion was #6. Guess that group went nowhere so it kinda sucks for Rion that she joined Muscats and then they disbanded a bit later

Also i remember at one of the videos i watched that was titled something like Nagoya and Tokyo CLEAR'S live... so i wonder if they are just spreading like a very indie version of AKB and the best of each group can perform in the main CLEAR'S... maybe that's the idea

Yeah, they seem to be a very underground group for them to be expanding at all, who knows, maybe they do work cleaning houses and offices xD

Somewhat related, Rion changed her last name to Sawabe, and was working in a theater play called "Pirates of the Desert"
