YKT san, arigatou gozaimashita! The back up links worked beautifully!!  :cow:

What a great group of PV's! Impressive!

Team A: 孤独の星空 / Kodoku no Hosizora (Starry Sky of Loneliness)- Beautiful set and the kimono were beatiful. Set remined me of 2007 film with Anna Tsuchiya, called Sakuran.Everyone looked great, Mayu and Mariko outstandingly so, and I enjoyed the the screen time for Juri Takahashi.

Team K: スクラップ& ビルド / Sukurappu & Birudo (Scrap & Build) - Cool set and dance action Tomo & Jurina getting lot of great looks, and nice to see the screen time for Mariya Nagao.

Team B: 正義の味方じゃないヒーロー / Seigi no Mikata Janai Hiro (Not on the side of Justice Hero)- I don't mind when Team B has the more traditional songs like this, although Yuko and Yukirin look a bit out of place as students, most of the girls are high school age. Pararu holds her own with Yukirin, and nice touch for Miyori with the lemon colored beret. Miku Tanabe looked outstanding (she had the long red twin tails)- so nice to see her with a strong visual presence

ギンガムチェック/ Gingham Check - the Eiki Takahashi version- Really heartwarming, beautifully done....I would like to see subs too, but generally it seems that Mayu's character is not in very good shape, and she wishes she could have a time machine, maybe to change the outcome.....anyway the other girls are concerned for Mayu's character, and then the magic begins. Song and PV fit together very well. Pretty amazing how one song has two such great PV's...Gingham Check for me is one of the finest AKB48 songs.

Undergirls - 次のSeason / Tsugi no Season (Next Season)- Yes, yes, yes!! It's been done before (all the little stunts), but this PV did a great job of blending in the fails with the eventual wins into the song, and the kawaii was on full display by all the members. Songs that bring a smile to your face are always appreciated.

Let's watch!

Team A: Kodoku no Hosizora
- Love the style and setting. Great visuals throughout the PV. New Team A is my favorite Team by FAR. Old school quality in Takamina and Mariko and super favorites including Kasai, Yui and Mayu. I don't really care for the song. To some extent it's a more SDN48 sounding "Sakurai Mankai" if that makes sense.

Team K: Sukurappu & Birudo
- First reaction is that the song is way too happy sounding for the dark vibe they created in the opening sequence. Can't go wrong with black/red. Jurina center, yappari. She looks more masculine and adult than ever. Moving Mocchi back to K is a mistake. She was finally starting to blossom on her own. Aw well. The song is pretty nice.

Team B: Seigi no Mikata Janai Hiro
- Classic bells intro. Paru, Yuki, Haruna, Milky... I wonder how this team will turn out. The hierarchy of power needs to be re-defined. lol, Ishida Anna, long time no see! This member line-up is so strange. it's going to take some time getting used to. Ah, Miichan and Umechan too, of course. I dig this type of song, even though AKB48 already has around 100 songs like these.

Gingham Check - the Eiki Takahashi version-
- Yay, more drama. Mayu confirmed for super ace. Yeah, this PV is less awesome than the original GH, but consider it a bonus!

Undergirls - Tsugi no Season
- Won't load. YYG doesn't work for me.

Even though there aren't any instant classics here, it does show one of the things I like about AKB48: value for money. Most idol units would just have something like this Team B PV, but we are getting six proper PVs with their own theme and styling  :thumbup.

Huge thanks to YKT and segius for the links to the PVs, really appreciate it  :thumbsup

Kodoku no Hoshizora- Team A: Not too sure what the story was meant to be but then again it doesn't really matter since the members all looked really elegant and beautiful, only thing is the actual song seems to be a bit overwhelmed by the PV, even though the song is quite good

Scrap & Build- Team K: Exactly what you would have expected from the old Team K, cool badass outfits, a really intense performance and really happy to see Jurina fit in perfectly. Personally would have wanted the song to be something slightly edgier and dark but this is still my favourite song out of all the B-sides :)

Seigi no Mikata Janai Hero- Team B: I was really looking forward to seeing what this song would be like after hearing the 15s preview but I have to admit I was a little disappointed. That's not to say that the song or PV is bad its just that I feel like I'm listening to two different songs with chorus and the verse

Tsugi no Season- Under Girls: Nice cheerful song and a fun PV to go along with it but not much else to say. Solid song

Gingham Check??? It was a nice PV and it gave the lower ranked members more individual screen times but at the same time I was kind of thinking was it really necessary and are they going to end up with second PV "UZA" (Since Kahn produced it)

My thoughts:

Team A: Kodoku no Hosizora
First thought: stunning visuals indeed! Kasai and Yui really stood out to me, they both look awesome in their outfits. The black dress/skirts—not
so much. Takamina also looked awesome! Anyway, I'm not quite sure what is happening to Mayu, but she looks evil-ish in the PV, LoL. The
song wasn't bad; it fit the PV, but it feels a little off to me. By the way, is that Paruru I see in the video, or are my eyes playing tricks on me?
Team K: Sukurappu & Birudo
What's with the song and the video? o.o The song is way to cheery for the gloomy, black and white, punk looking music video(kind of like
Baby!Baby!Baby!). All in all, this song wasn't too memorable for me. Heck, I barely remember it now, after only a few hours. Yuko can really
look tough when she wants to! I felt that Kitarie and Mariyagi were kind of out of place, though.
Team B: Seigi no Mikata Janai Hiro
Look at those bad grades—Yukirin has the highest, and Paruru is the lowest XD. I agree that the member lineup is weird—it feels like they just
took everyone left over and bunched them together. It feels like they put the least effort into this PV, not much to say.  :smhid
Gingham Check
This was interesting! When I first saw the intro, I felt that the PV had so much potential because I could perfectly imagine Gingham Check going
perfectly with this. However, it was not to be, and I sighed once I saw the Gingham Check dresses. It's not like I really hate it or something, it's
just that they don't go at all with the feel of the song. It's hyper and energetic, but the dresses totally give the opposite effect. I don't know if
it's just me, but the choreo seems way less intense than before. There were alot of good points, too, though! I thought Mayuyu in a huge bed
with loads of stuffed animals and candy/sweets was just too cute(even if it was supposed to be sad/gloomy)! Also, I really liked Sasshi in this,
she always seems like a loser regular person, like in her 1st Single, and her second one, how she gets the backseat. I'm not quite sure
what's wrong with Mayuyu, and what they're trying to go for at the end to cheer her up, though  :?

Full thoughts about the PV.

Kodoku no Hoshizora: In my opinion the best team PV in the past 2 years. The setting, the wardrobe, the tone of the PV suits really well with the song. Also the girls looked gorgeous in the PV.

Scrap & Build: Yeah the song doesn't match the tone of the PV that much. It just seems like they're not even brainstorming and just choose on the typical dark and cool setting to give the Team K feel without taking into account how the song is actually like. The girls looked nice though.

Seigi no Mikata Janai Hero: TBH even less effort was put into this than S&B. Just seems like a rehash of Love Jump sorry to say.

Tsugi no Season: I simply just adore this PV. Got me smiling throughout the video and I even had to repeat some parts. The girls were adorable, and Ricchan is quite capable of being an attractive center (also shown in Team A's PV).

Gingham Check Story version: Did not get the story at first and even after reading what it's suppose to be about, there's just something amiss, definitely not as good as GM5 storyline, but overall decent enough. I liked the school setting and shots and that Gingham patterns on the computer, wall/apartment, etc was actually a nice touch. It's alright and I guess it serves its purpose on being totally different compared to Kahn's version.

Cool! Some impressions:

Kodoku no Hoshizora: Man, they never cut anything for Team A, do they? They look like whores but they look amazing. The PV is rich in color and quite stunning. It looks like the movie Sakuran. I'm wondering if it was directed by Ninagawa Mika, who directed Sakuran and Heavy Rotation. I really like what they've done with this one. The song itself I'm still unsure about. Sounds like it should have been for SDN.

Scrap & Build: Like everyone else have been saying, the image doesn't match the song. I do love the new Team K, though. I thought everyone looked pretty good. The "band" I guess was cool, but the part where everyone was getting electrocuted was hilarious. The song isn't very memorable; just your standard AKB style.

Seigi no Mikata Janai Hero: This video was like they forgot to take off a filter on the camera when shooting. Brightness was so blown out it was kind of distracting. Everything else was kind of typical stuff. I find the member line-up kind of weird. The song wasn't too bad, even though it's usual AKBusiness there.

Tsugi no Season: Maaaaaan this PV is so cute, I had to watch it twice. The stuff they were doing has been done many times before, and has been done better. But their reactions after getting it done after all those takes were priceless. So cute. Their names on the performing outfits are weird though lol. Song is... well the song is alright, but the PV is what matters here.

Gingham Check: All I can say is... I'm glad Joseph Kahn's is the original. This version is kind of cute. I didn't like Gingham Check but Kahn's PV saved the song for me. I don't think this version would have. Don't understand why they made another one though.

PON! Oct 29, 2012 - topic: the MVs in UZA

Quote
AKB48’s ‘UZA glasses’ distributed in three cities
by ustar on October 29, 2012 at 2:53 am

To commemorate the release of their new single, “UZA“, AKB48’s “UZA glasses” were distributed in Shibuya (Tokyo), Namba (Osaka), and Sakae (Nagoya) on October 27th.

These glasses were made of paper in the image of Halloween pumpkins, and were distributed to pedestrians by women dressed in Halloween costumes. At first the passersby looked at the women out of curiosity, but when they found out that this was a promotional novelty for AKB48’s new single, they began to gather one after another. The 20,000 “UZA glasses” that were prepared for distribution were gone in the blink of an eye.
