It's not necessary to have an LCD tv to play it. The Wii has multiple ports so you can hook it up to older as well as newer TVs.

^ I see a lot of hardcore gamers complaining about this. Guess it must be that they can't accept that games can be catered to a mainstream audience and also the thought of getting exercise scares them.

No one is going to force them to play.

No worries.

I set up Toys R Us' email alert to send to my cellphone if they get any Wiis in stock (they seem to be the only Canadian retailers getting regular shipments for sale to the general public). Hopefully I'll have a chance to get one soon.

Could we possibly see a Square Enix RPG with the Wii Fit board in mind?

Don't know how it would work though. Hope it wouldn't be a random battle system, cause you'd just get exhausted!

Just waiting for SSBB for the wii. Last game I got for Wii was Harry Potter OOTP, and its nice. My SSBB, been waiting for that forever.

That would be fun. Even more fun if you combine it with a DDR mat and a Guitar Hero III controller.

I got Resident Evil 4 and Zelda Twilight Princess so I'll have stuff to play when my Wii finally arrives. Toys R Us is taking their time on shipping it.

Guitar Hero III (Dec)
Soul Calibur Legends (Nov)
DDR Hottest Party (Sept)
Mario Kart (Nov)

The tail-end of this year is going to be pretty big I think. Plus getting some VC games too.

i just figured out that the Wii is capable of a web browser but it's need to be downloaded. there was once a free download but now u have to pay with 500 wii points... i was wondering if anyone have that saved so they can upload for me... that is if it's even capable of something like that. i'm thinking of downloading it off the net then transfer it to a SD card then install it on the Wii... will it work like that?

EDIT: i guess what i'm talking about is the Internet Channel for the Nintendo Wii.

btw, if there is a free Virtual Console game downloads instead of using the Wii points....

I'm not how that would work. I wasn't aware you could install software from an SD card.

There's a number of sites out there that have Flash games that are playable on the Wii. A quick Google will turn them up. Some of them are a lot of fun.

I played Mario Galaxy the other day at our local GameStop (who had it for demo WAY before the release date, wow). It seems like it will be incredibly fun, honestly. I can not WAIT for it to come out.

Demo's usually come out before release, it helps the hype machine. But with the reviews mario Galaxy has received I know (or hope) it will be greater than sunshine.

I managed to order a copy of Guitar Hero III. Again from Toysrus.ca. They seem to update their website's stock in the middle of the night, so I'm able to snag hard to find stuff by virtue of getting up for school at 6:30.

i'm waiting for the new super smash bros. brawl to come out, i think that'll be awesome. but i think before i do that, i should start playing 2 of the new games i bought (it came in a bundle) that hasn't even been open yet... hehe...
