BABYMETAL provide an update on their current status as part of Lady Gaga's tour
August 5, 2014

On August 4, 3 member metal dance group BABYMETAL gave an update on their current status as the opening act of American singer Lady Gaga's (28) American tour.

The trio is serving as the opening act for 5 tour stops; they began touring with Lady Gaga starting on July 30 and will complete their leg of the tour on August 6.

Reportedly, Lady Gaga watched favorably from the front row or stage as the trio performed. On August 2, she even invited them to her dressing room. It is said that she gave them some advice on performing live.

The trio commented, "Even now, we cannot believe that we are going through such a precious and valuable experience."

to be honest, when their world tour was first announced, part of me was afraid that they wouldn't be taken seriously. it makes me feel very good to see that they've been getting pretty much nothing but positive press write-ups and such and even the foreign shows have sold out   

it makes me laugh when the so-called 'real' metalheads talk shit about them not being  'real metal' - yeah there's the idol-ly parts, but the metal parts are 100% pure fuckin' metal - even heavier than alot of the so-called 'real' metal bands lol (this coming from an ex-death metaller lol)

BABYMETAL reveal details for their world tour
September 4, 2014

BABYMETAL have revealed the details for their world tour 'BABYMETAL BACK TO THE USA / UK TOUR 2014' that will be held in November.

Last month, BABYMETAL announced that they would be returning to New York and London for another world tour. At this time, it's been revealed that they will perform on November 4 (local time) at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York and on November 8 (local time) at O2 Academy Brixton in London. VIP tickets for the New York concert are currently on sale, while general ticket sales will begin on September 5 at 10:00 (local time).
