In a breakthrough that could benefit fields as diverse as networking, photography, astronomy, and peeping, science-types at Japan's Institute of Physical and Chemical Research have unveiled their prototype of a glass-like material that they claim to be 100% transparent.

wow. 100% transperancy. Hopefully they won't make sliding doors out of these, or that could lead to some horrible accidents. >_>

^ Transparent doors would be really bad. Glass sliding doors can cut someone's arm or leg off if that person were to run through it. Imagine a transparent door. Maybe it be good to see how many dumb criminals would try and run through one of those and get knocked silly

Using this 100% transparent glass and 100% reflecting mirror you could build up a great maze for a amusement park or something.

Dammit, glass! I was hoping it'd be the sort of material you could make clothes out of.

You always could, just think backto those suits of armor fellows used to wear back in the day. Might be a
bit
uncomfortable though. Ouch.
