First time writing in here that isn't a perv

Another Girl, Another Planet

“Number 101788!  Please head to the briefing room.”

She was expecting the call soon, but it seemed too soon.  Leaving the group to attend her briefing, the students waived their final goodbyes with the stream slowly rolling from their beady eyes.  Teacher by trade, she was required to take a two year sabbatical from the school.  However, she was well beyond the time period with three requests for more time and the final request went unheard.

She strolled down the empty corridor with her heart beating out of her chest.  Fearing the worst, she stared down the door before turning the knob into the room.  It was an empty room lined with red wallpaper, the only items that was not red was the black speaker in the middle with a small book next to it.

“Welcome 101788!  You are on a two year mission to learn about other life forms.”  The speaker announced.

“I understand.”  She replied.  “Do you have my location?”

There was a slight pause as the speaker turned off momentarily.  “Earth, you shall be located in Japan.”

“Japan?  I think you may need to consider.”  She replied as the room turned dark.

She felt a sudden rush through her back.  Many have described it as a knife stabbing into the body.  Stiffened from the attack, she took two deep breaths, and the lights turned on.  She crumbled to the floor holding the fresh wound on her back.  She let out a scream as the speaker was taunting the woman.

“It has been decided.”  The speaker announced.  “Please head to the pod.”

Dazed from the intrusion, she stumbled over to the pod filled with clothing and other necessary goods.  She stepped into pod feeling the daze slowly wearing off, it closed behind her.  The pod ejected off from the planet, heading to its location.  She closed her eyes feeling the weight of the pod pull towards her destination.  A name popped into her mind, her identity, Oshima Yuko.

Kojima Haruna professed that she was an OL for a big company but it was a small subsidiary of BINGO Inc., a clothing conglomerate within Tokyo.  She had known the few that ran the company but rarely do they show face unless there was a crisis and seeing the four middle-aged men was a surprise for her.

“Miichan, why are they here?”  She whispered.

“I don’t know.”  The reply sounding her concerns over their jobs.

“Maybe I should talk to them.”

She confidently strode up to the four men and held her hands in front of her.  Cautiously blinking her eyes, she could probably drag out an explanation but the four turned away from her charm and she walked back into line looking over at her co-worker frozen in fear.

Kojima watched the men huddle every few seconds as the tallest man would strongly grip his phone as calls came in often.  Minegishi Minami aka Miichan was aware of certain situations and informing Kojima of anything but it was a blindsided hit for her as she waited for them.

“It might be a takeover.”  The talk entered into the two women’s ears as the possibility seemed likely until they broke the huddle.

“We are here to inform you that you have been laid off.”  The men simultaneous bowed to the group.  “Clean up before the boss…”  He was interrupted by a woman with a scarf around her neck and a ribbon twice the size of her head.  She stood tall in front of the group with her arms crossed over her chest.  She was much shorter than the group but her smirk gave away her identity.

“The name is Takahashi Minami.  You shall clear out now!”  The yell rang the ears of the group.

The group went into panic as they ran to their desks to clean out whatever they can but Haruna stood alone staring at the new boss with her arms crossed.  They both exchanged looks before the shorter woman walked up to her arcing her neck up to get her attention.

“Why don’t you clean up?”  She asked.

“Because I work here and laying me off will only hurt you in the long run.”  She explained as the woman unleashed a smirk.

“If that’s so… we can prove it by finishing up this worksheet in two hours.”  Takahashi handed over a box to the OL.

“I want an assistant.”  She demanded as Takahashi placed her palm upwards and shrugged.

“Sure, if it helps.”  She answered.

Minegishi trotted over and grabbed the box with Haruna.  They were in a separate corner from everyone, most of the time they could spend the whole day chatting without getting anything done but it gave them a chance to exchange their ideas with each other.  Both women removed the contents slowly and tracked the dates of each transaction, it was a week filled of transactions and correspondence from the individual companies.

“You must be crazy to take on this.”  She glanced over at Haruna who was walking away.

“I want to talk to her and see if she can crumble.”  She winked back at Miichan before turning the corner.

Kojima looked around first before approaching the short woman.  She took two steps before witnessing her falling face first into the carpet.  She hid her smile behind her hand and headed toward the office again, avoiding the giggling in frot of the new boss.  Kojima stepped inside the office, visibly in pain holding back the laughter within her.  She was ready to explain the work when a sound of an explosion took her attention to the other side of the building.

The group rushed over led by Kojima to the building where rubble was surrounding a pod eight feet in diameter.  The curious airhead approached the pod and knocked on it twice opening the pod in front of them.  She arose slowly from the vehicle in her birthday suit.  Exposed, she stretched her arms out and smiled at the group.

“Welcome, I’m Oshima Yuko.  Nice to meet you.”

Thanks for the views and the thanks

It seems to be an awkward fic, it'll get more awkward

Josie

Standing in front of the naked woman, Haruna wrapped her arms around the woman.  She dragged her over to the bathroom shielding her along the way.  She began to think why there would be a naked woman at work, especially one who crashed into a building.  Forcing her eyes to look above her shoulders, Kojima decided to shove her into the stall for the time being and searched for clothing for the woman.  She took a few steps towards the exit and felt an energy coming from the stall.  The flash of light blinded her for a moment.  She rubbed her eyes, forcing her eyes back into focus.  The woman appeared in a yellow sundress like it was magic.

“How did you do that?”  She asked with a confused look on her face.

“I don’t know what you mean.”  She replied with a grin on her face.  “I was always wearing clothes.”

Haruna scanned her twice quickly before shaking her head.  She knew she was naked when she dragged into the bathroom.  She could never erase what she had seen in the office.  Then, she paused for a moment trying to place the timeline together in her mind.  After a few minutes of pondering, she exited the bathroom with her head shaking side to side as she approached the water fountain.  With one turn, the water shot directly into her face and soaking the clothes with the cool liquid.

“Terrible machine.”  Yuko commented.

The woman raised her hands, aiming towards the water fountain.  She went into a deep trance as the water fountain came to life in front of her.  Fearing the worst, Kojima crawled backwards to the door where the water fountain turned its attention towards her.  Taking one step, Yuko dove in front of its attack, feeling the stream hit her midsection.  She held it for a moment, keeping her attention to the machine.  Then, she lunged forward towards its pipes, twisting it clockwise to its eventual death.

“What… what was that?”  Haruna commanded as her eyes grew into melons.

“A controlled spirit… there are many from where I come from.”

Before she could ask the question, Miichan came running towards her co-worker, picking her up from the ground.  She turned towards Yuko as she waved towards them.  “Where did you come from?”

“I came from the bathroom.”  She replied.  “I’m Oshima Yuko.”

“Yuko-chan… I’m Miichan, Minegishi Minami.”  She greeted with a slight tilt of the head.

Yuko moved her head as she tried to imitate the act but quickly ran back to the crash location.  Miichan glanced back seeing her co-worker slowly adjusting her clothing.  The water spot completely covered her front but headed back without mentioning it.  Haruna halted as she came by another water fountain and watched it closely as a male employee came to it and drank from it.

Why should I be afraid of the water fountain?

Haruna returned to her desk with the piles of work laid by the computer.  She had to bite into it soon enough but the events seemed to exhaust her out more than usual.  Sitting back in her chair, the weird woman entered into the area observing the atmosphere with no intention of drawing attention.

“What are you doing here?”

“I wanted to know where I am.”

“You are in the BINGO, Inc. building.”

“Honto?”  She said with a weird accent.  “I was supposed to land in Tokyo.”

“You are in Tokyo.”  She replied angrily.  “Why don’t you leave?”

Yuko, despite her kindness towards people, hated others who yelled at her.  Her usual response is to throw fireballs at them but she felt saddened by the words.  She felt her lips tremble a bit as she tried to have a response.  She gazed at Haruna for a bit before Takahashi walked into the area with her arms crossed and a smirk that would haunt a person for days.

“Did you bring her here?”

She felt her hands become cold as she looked at the woman.  The woman walked up to Takahashi and gave her a deep bow.  The boss forced a bow while keeping eye contact on the woman.  Takahashi turned away from the work area with her chin held up as Minegishi walked into the room with two cups of coffee.

“Nee, the boss seems annoyed by your presence.”  She commented.

Haruna took the cup presented in front of her.  She took a tiny sip before looking at the smaller stack.  Yuko flipped through the stack with her eyes scanning the words and flashed a smile to both of them.  Minegishi quickly caught the glance of the woman and went to her side to view the stack.

“What is it?”

“The paper shows there is a major problem in the numbers.”  She commented.  “We need boxes to clarify a problem.”

Amused by the finding, she asked a male co-worker to gather boxes and bring it back to the workstation.  She flipped through the stack and placed in smaller piled by date.  It seemed easier to break it down by dates but the work seemed tedious for her and the co-worker.  Slanting her eyes over to the woman, she handed the pile over to her.

“Whatever your name is, please sort this out.”  She instructed as the two began to peel through the stacks.

Yuko cleared a space for herself to drop her stack.  After seeing their work, she began to follow the same tedious process.  One page peeling it away from the other, she glanced over to Haruna, hoping she would look back but every occasion was ignored and she set the first set to her left starting on the next one.

An hour later, a box came into their workstation filling their space with another box.  Once they had the months organized, Miichan took the liberty to look for the numbers as Yuko started on the next box.  Haruna climbed onto the computer to type out her findings.  It was clear that looking for an issue would be time-consuming.

Another hour had passed without finding the issue Yuko had found.  Irritated, Haruna stepped out of the workstation with her head tilted down into her hand.  She looked over at Miichan, who was still looking over the first few months of the first box.

“Check July.”  Yuko suggested.

Miichan grabbed the pile next to her with “July” penciled on the top page.  She pulled the rubbed band off and removed the cover page from the pile.  She stared at the pages before moving them off to the other side.  Carefully, it was analyzed page by page until she gave into the strain of the black print.  Yuko took the stack and removed a small pile of paper to a sheet filled with numbers.

“Calculate this column.”  She requested as Haruna returned to the work station.

“Did you find it yet?”  Yuko quickly nodded.

“You look tired.”  She walked over to grasp the shoulders of the tired worker.

Yuko pinched the shoulders, cautiously waking her up from her frozen state.  Haruna slowly closed her eyes letting Yuko continue on her soothing massage.  After a few minutes, she had gone into a deep sleep and Yuko squatted down to the level of Haruna.  She stared down the earlobe of the worker and grabbed it with her fingers.

“I FOUND THE PROBLEM!”  Miichan announced in a loud voice awaking the napping worker and surprising Yuko from her concentration.

“Where was it?”  Haruna wiped the sleep from her eyes and pointed at an unusual credit calculation.

“Hmm, I wonder if Takahashi-san will care for the problems we fine.”

“Yuko… are you okay?”  Miichan asked.

She held up her hand and rolled onto her knees.  Wiping off the dust off her dress, she paced to the office of the new boss.  Haruna grabbed her from behind before she said a word and pulled her away from the sight of the boss.  Miichan opened the door to the exit and both dragged the woman into the emergency stairway.

“Sorry.”  Haruna apologized as she released the clamp.

“We will tell her, Yuko-chan.”  Miichan butted in.

“I wanted to compare earlobes.”

The two workers looked at each other and pushed Yuko back into the office.  “Go ahead.”

After getting a laugh in, the two entered back into the office to notice the clock just had hit 4:00.  They ran back into their workstation and typed out their reports as fast as they could.  The yells from outside didn’t startle them but always kept a smile as the yells were sweet music to their ears.

@Riichan: It was the main reason to have her as a main character.

Go

Their eyes stared down the clock as the red hand slowly clicked down to the end of work.  Yuko returned to their station with a wide grin as the clock passed the top and both simultaneous grabbed their bags to exit the area.  Haruna led the way to the elevator where the group was growing by the second.  Yuko moved closer to the elder woman and slipped her arms around the waist.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm scared."  She replied as Miichan slipped her hand between them to break the embrace.

"Sigh... just let go and I'll hold your hand."  She said in an exhausted tone.

Yuko held her hand tightly as the doors flew open and they charged into the elevator.  Feeling the group pushing them into the back, Yuko gripped harder hoping the people would stop forcing themselves into the elevator.  Suddenly, the door shut and the car flew down at a quick pace.  The yelps for help began to exit their lips until it halted at the lobby.  The bodies littered the floor except for the three when the door opened to the lobby.  They climbed over the bodies and headed out to the crisp afternoon weather.

"Nyaro, are you going anywhere?"  Miichan asked as she looked at her phone.

"I'm going home."  She looked down at Yuko.  "I guess she can come with me for the time being."

"Cool, I have a dinner date with Shinoda-san.  Jaa~" Miichan quickly ran across the street leaving the duo alone in front of the building.

"Let's have dinner."  Haruna said with a half-smile.

The crisp air usually brought out the couples from the apartments, weekdays was usually worst because of the young women hanging around the lobbies as their boyfriends came from the elevators.  However, the streets were empty with the crowds dissipating from the buildings as they headed towards the train station.  Glancing around she pointed out a restaurant and Yuko agreed as the smell was lingering in the air.

Yuko loosened her grip as they entered through the restaurant. The smell of freshly-cooked food entered through their senses.  The noise level was quite high with the people scattered around but luckily a table popped up in the far corner where a waitress had just finished picking up the dirty dishes.  The two sat across each other away from the heavy smoke that was billowing out towards the lone window near the entrance.  Haruna picked up the slightly torn laminated menu and scanned over her selections.

"What foods do you eat?"  She asked as her eyes were set on a hot bowl of kitsune udon.

"Um usually we drink milk and eat cheese."  She replied with a smile.

Haruna politely grinned at the answer and held up two fingers followed by three fingers.  The waitress held up an OK sign before turning back towards the kitchen.  She couldn't help staring into the eyes of Yuko for a moment.  The thoughts seemed to appear like bubbles as they slowly popped in front of her.  Before she realized her gaze, Yuko caught onto the weird look she was receiving.

"Haruna... why did Miichan call you Nyaro?"

Embarrassed by the question, she hid her face from Yuko's sight.  Yuko peeked into the space and she lifted her head up into her chin.  Yuko fell backwards to the ground, holding her chin in her hand.  She picked her off the filthy floor and sat her up.  The waitress holding their drinks observed the two before handing off their glasses of water.

"I like kittens."  She showed with her hands the size she preferred.  "Nyan is the sound they produced and it was easy to remember then NyanNyan."

"I see... I only have little rodents that help clean up after me."

"That's.... nice."  Haruna slowly nodded.  "Where did you come from?"

Yuko's smile disappeared.  Haruna held out her hand as she didn't mean to offend her but Yuko slowly built back the smile but it was less spectacular than before.  "I came from Hencho.  A place where we just finished a civil war and many have come back to prosper but as I learned it was a sentence to death unless you finish a service duty."

"Service duty?"

"A mission where we learn about the culture we adapt in.  Take whatever is needed to accomplish the goal before returning back with items needed to stay sovereign.  If we don't return, people will come after us and kill us on the spot."  Yuko looked around before turning her attention back to Nyaro.

"Many instances, people don't return because of the better lifestyle in their missions.  All have been executed on the spot."  Her throat tightened a bit as the last words barely escaped her mouth.

"Hmm, that seems harsh to me."  She commented as she sipped from her glass.

"It is although I got lucky because I was a teacher and they don't care about education that much unless they are elite."

"You must be one."  She pointed at Yuko.

She nodded her head in confidence as the bowls were coming quickly to their table.  The hot broth with submerged noodles salivated their mouths as Yuko looked down at the bowl and pointed at the brown square in the middle of the soup.

"That's aburage, fried tofu."  Yuko closed her eyes for a moment before cracking her chopsticks in half and grabbed the ten centimeter square piece of food.  She placed it between her two lips and bit down on the hot item.  Chewing it slowly, the taste was unique to her palate and swallowed it with ease.

Aliens Exist

Trailing Haruna home, the streets were filled with people slowly passing through sieve.  Yuko observed the many faces she passed and held her head in her hands.  Haruna glanced back to see Yuko in discomfort and carried her on the back.  The streets cleared as they rounded the corner to the dark street where the apartment was a block away.

“Yuko, are you okay?”  She asked as the pain subsided within her.

“Many people here are imported from my planet, they seem accustomed to the world here.”  Yuko explained.  “Their minds seemed shielded from my thoughts.”

“You are a weird one, Oshima-san.”

Yuko smiled at the response as Nyannyan passed by her.  Bypassing the gate, the building was fifteen stories tall and had ten apartments on each floor.  The lobby was plain with two elevators in front of them.  They both approached the elevator when another attack conquered the mind of Yuko.  Collapsing to the ground, a female came to her side and pressed onto her neck.

“Yuko-chan, are you alright?”  Haruna asked as she looked at the female with two ponytails and wide eyes.

“Yuko?  101788 wake up.”  She commanded.

Yuko rose from the ground like a flower following the sun’s rays.  Her heart paused as she saw the woman with perfect vision.  A smile grew on the woman’s face as she pressed the button to send them up to the fifth floor.  Haruna watched the two stare at each other with concerning eyes.

“101788, are you here on mission?”

“Yes A32694.”  Yuko replied lowering her eyes.

“You finally received one after all those postponements.”  She commented as the woman lowered her hands towards the hips.

Yuko froze for a moment as the woman placed her hands on the backside.  Yuko returned the favor a second later to an entertained gaze of the woman.  Haruna looked at the two before the elevator door opened to their floor.  The three exited from the elevator and headed down the dim hallway to the fifth room.

“What is your name?”  Haruna asked the woman with her hands on Yuko’s backside.

“Mayuyu.”  She replied.  “I decided to have no last name.”

“Mayuyu?  I feel that seems decent enough.”  She spoke as the exchange of touching each other continued in front of her.  “Stop that!”

The two stood in front of her with a straight expression as Haruna invited both into the apartment.  Inside the scattered piece of trash littered the floor.  The thick layer of dirt covered the floor with the futons rolled up in the far corner of the room.  Yuko took a few steps near the kitchen where it was covered with dirt and food particles.  The cockroaches were running across like the busy streets of Tokyo as they received their meal from the floor.

“This is really dirty.”

“I agree.”  Yuko grabbed the broom and swept up the kitchen as Haruna went to her room away from the kitchen.

Haruna returned to the front of the room a few minutes later to a shiny floor in the kitchen.  Mayuyu was on the finishing touches for the living room as she took a seat at the table.

“Sugoi!  You guys did all this for me.”

“Well it wasn’t easy but we don’t like dirty rooms.”  Yuko explained as Mayuyu took the seat across of Haruna.

“I see.”

“First, Mayuyu is not a normal human being.”  Yuko started.  “She is an “A” labeled woman”

“A labeled?”

“It means I am a permanent in this world.”  Haruna tilted her head to the right.  “I cannot return back to Hencho because of my rank.”

“Was it too low?”  Haruna asked.

“She is diplomat level.”  Yuko stated.

Haruna nodded as Mayuyu lifted her finger and pointed at Yuko.  A thin strand of fiber came from her finger and wiggled its way to Yuko’s nose.  Entering into the right nostril, the string continued until it rested for a moment and pulled back instantly to her finger.

“Checked.”  Mayu said with a smile.

“Thank you Mayuyu… I mean A32694.”  Yuko stated her appreciation.

Haruna stood up and shook her head as the two stared at each other, neither tried to provoke a movement from the other with their hands on their lap.  She watched the two stare for a good five minutes before exiting the room.

“You are warming up to the human correct?”

“I’m not sure.”  She replied as she moved her hand to the table.  “I feel lost with everything around me.  I want to touch something but I feel afraid it will become possessed.”

“I heard about the water fountain.”  Mayuyu tilted her head as Yuko followed her.  “It happens when you least expect it.”

“It seems…”  Yuko moved her eyes to the right breaking the contest.  “I don’t want to keep fighting for no reason.”

“You will keep fighting regardless of what you think.”  She said bluntly as Haruna returned to the table.

“Who won?”  Mayuyu pointed toward herself and smiled.

Yuko kept her head down avoiding contact with Haruna as Mayuyu stood up from the table and headed toward the door.  She bowed toward the two and left the apartment.  Haruna looked up at the clock and breathed a sigh.  She knew work tomorrow would be another awkward meeting but at least it was the last day of the week.  Yuko dragged herself to the kitchen and looked at the steel sink.

“Are you alright?”

“Daijoubu.”  She replied.

Haruna laid out the futons for each of them and returned to the kitchen with her head up and staring at the window.  Her gaze was straight forward.  It was a deep, sedated stare out into the lights.  Her mind started churn out the ideas no person would ever dare and turned to find her in pajamas.

“I need to sleep.”

“I know.  I’ll hunt for my items now while you sleep.”  Yuko accepted the situation and walked towards the door.

“Wait!”

“I’ll be okay.”

“It isn’t that.”  She paused as she looked up at her.  “I… just wanted a friend to sleep with me for now.  I’ll promise to get your stuff at work.”

Yuko’s crooked smile brightened the situation she was in.  She expected nothing from her but her warm response gave her a warm feeling in her heart.  She didn’t want to burden anyone while on her mission but for a first day, she could probably stay a while longer.  Except, she had to attain clearance to stay a while longer and it would be a miracle if she could apply now.

Yuko slipped out of the dress and slid on top of the futon.  Haruna avoided to look at her but her eyes were entertained by the body.  It was guilty of her looking at another woman’s body but the sweetness couldn’t avoid the multiple glances before shutting off the light for the night.  Maybe it wasn’t bad to keep a weird woman in the apartment that you were warming up to.

@Nab thanks

@haruhi Well here's the next chapter

M&M's

The soothing music awoke the worker from her clock alarm.  She stretched out her arms to the sky and looked to her right to the empty futon.  She shot up from the bed and headed to the lone room with a closed door.  She firmly knocked two times before entering into the room where Yuko had her body wrapped with a white towel.  The steam shot out from the room shading the view of the woman.

"Nyannyan, are you there?"

"Yes... I was wondering where you went."

"Don't you like morning showers?"  Yuko asked as she removed the towel from her body.

"I do.  But do you like being naked?"

Haruna shielded her eyes from the sight as she walked through the screen.  Yuko passed by her and took a sharp right to the room.  She closed the door behind her, pressing her hands together.  Yuko pressed her eyelids together for a moment and another dress was placed on her.  Yuko opened the door to the wide-eyed Haruna as she began to shake her head furiously.

"I don't know how you do it."

"It isn't hard."  She said with a smile.  "I can only do it while I'm naked though."

"I see... well we need to go soon, let me shower first and we can get something on our way to work."  Haruna explained before entering into the shower.

Yuko paced to the front when a knock on the door caught her attention.  Opening the front door, Mayuyu charged into the room with a full head of steam.  The usual calm one was flustered about an issue.  Her words murmured as Yuko began to turn back to her native language.

"What do you mean the force is coming?"

"They are going to send my girlfriend soon."  She cried.  "I have forgotten about her."

"Hmm, I have flowers."  Yuko showed it in her hand but she knocked it out of her hand.

"That won't do."

Yuko turned to see the red eyes glaring at both of them.  Mayuyu slid under the table as she approached them but Yuko slid between the two.  B71591 as she known was a tall, skinny female with long black hair.  She was a beauty and a miracle of women.  Being blessed by the gods, she acquired a power of her prized possession, her chest.  No man could refuse the size but were cursed if they were caught looking at them from point blank.  Women were excluded unless there was no clothing and they were transformed into males.

"A32694, where have you been?"  She demanded.

"I have been at home researching."

"You always say that and now I find you here hiding."

"B71591, she has been monitoring me."  Yuko replied as the woman turned her attention to Yuko.

"As usual, a newcomer has to come and spoil the return."  She said with sarcastic tone.

Yuko reached out to her chest and began to squeeze them as hard as she could.  Mayuyu observed the distraction and crawled out of her hiding space.  Yuko knew the only weakness was the strong grip of people on her chest, she didn't know why but keeping her eyes closed, the woman forced her to release her grip.

"101788, you are in serious trouble for fondling an officer."  She threatened with her finger pointed straight at her.

She lifted her right pointer finger and brought it down towards her but felt her arm froze in mid air.  Struggling to bring down her arm, Mayuyu smiled at her, frustrating her to the point where the red eyes scared Mayuyu out of her control.  The officer held her hand for a moment before pointing towards Mayuyu.

"Do you have a gift?"

She handed over the small box from her pocket.  The two watched her open the box carefully to a ring with a red jewel placed in the holder.  The woman picked it up and slipped it onto her finger.  The red disappeared from her eyes with the ring turning black as she collapsed to the ground.  Mayuyu removed the ring from the finger and placed back into the box.

"What was that?"  Haruna asked as she was struggling to get her high heels on.

"Black-hearted android.  I call her Yukirin."  Mayuyu announced with a grin.

"I guess she isn't real..."

"She is alive but in a sleep state."  Mayuyu said as she poked the woman's cheek.  "I left her on overnight and she started to get angry that I wasn't replying back as quickly."

"People usually would be angry if they didn't..."  Haruna stated as she looked at the two again.

"We should go Nyan nyan."  Yuko insisted as Mayuyu lifted the body off the floor and the three exited quickly.

The streets were filled with people trying to get to the train station.  They pushed through with resistance from every direction but in the swarm it seemed futile to get a few feet every five minutes.  Yuko had only one option.  Closing her eyes, she wrapped her arms around Nyan nyan.  A flash blinded the people around them, creating a ball of protection around them.

"What is this?"  Haruna asked in a sense of panic.

"Just take a step forwards."  Yuko instructed as she hesitantly move in that direction.

The ball zoomed by everyone, knocking the people to the side clearing the way to the work building.  The seamless path to work was created as they tumbled into the lobby of the workplace.  Haruna opened her eyes to the view of the sky roof.  She turned to her right to feel the weight of the other woman on top of her with her eyes still closed.

"Yuko, we are here already."  She said with an irritating tone.

"Sorry, it takes a while to recover from the spell."  Yuko bowed to the woman.

Yuko slowly got up and felt her weakened legs buckle but she kept her balance as she followed Haruna up to the workplace.  The doors flew open to an empty floor.  The chairs and tables looked hardly touched as the lone person was Takahashi with her hands onto her scalp.

"You guys are here."  She breathed.  "Minegishi should be here too."

"What happened?"

"The parent company just lay off everyone and the workers heard word of it."

"I guess we can help you for the time being."  Haruna sighed as Yuko stepped into the workspace anticipating the load.

Fifteen minutes later, Miichan walked into the work space glancing at both of them.  Before she could speak, Takahashi pulled her aside to get an explanation for the abandoned work floor and returned with her head tilted forward feeling angry towards the men.

"Let's get over it.  How was your date with Shinoda?"

"Mariko kept wondering if there was UFO out during the date and I avoided any other questions."  She said with a hint of a smile.

"Well I guess models have their weird ways of expressing their love, right?"  Haruna commented getting a chuckle from her co-worker.

"It still doesn't mean to give up."  She replied.

"I guess not."  Haruna breathed.

"I want a person who cares for me, maybe someone who is caring yet playful."  Miichan yelled out into the air.

"You'll find someone..."  Haruna commented as the load appeared in front of them.

"I'll help you guys with this."  Takahashi announced.

The four grabbed a stack of work for each other, hoping there was something to dump or fuel for the bonfire.  Yuko was quick about the analysis and wrote down notes to pass over to Takahashi, who was impressed by her work ethic.  Haruna and Miichan were continually starting a conversation with Takahashi which was unsuccessful at first but time and realization slowly opened her to an unusual life.

"I am a hopeless fool."

"You were with Acchan."  Yuko said.

"Acchan, Maeda Atsuko, the actress?"  Miichan questioned.

"Yes, the actress who is calm under pressure but is cold towards her fans."  Takahashi explained.

Wendy Clear

Haruna and Miichan took their seats next to Takahashi as she began her story.  Yuko was less intrigued by the sorrow of the boss and worked through the noise.  Letting her go to a happy place, Takahashi kept her head tilted downwards.

"Acchan isn't bad."  She broke her silence.  "Many see her as a prima donna but the greatness in her is limited by the fact that she only has one true friend.

"Must be you, correct?"  Miichan interjected.

"It is correct.  She won't admit it right away but she could never get far without my advice."

"Maeda-san must be glad to have a friend like you."  Haruna spoke as Yuko raised her hand.

"Ah, I found something."

Yuko handed it over to the trio to look over the information.  Their eyes followed the text down to final line and nodded unanimously   Takamina circle the error with her red pen and placed it to her right side.  Yuko prepared the next stack for herself.  Sorted in her hands, she pushed it to the side and leaned into the group.

“It wasn’t her fault either that she hasn’t gotten to trust people.”  Takamina started as Yuko closed the gap between the three.  “It was a period where she refused to let go of the dream.  That is when she sought for my advice to advance.”

“Acchan only became successful after the role a rape victim, correct?”  Haruna questioned.

“She played it well and it was something I knew she could do well…”

Takamina bit down on her tongue.  There was a lot she knew, in depth stuff that could ruin an up and coming actress’ life.  Media outlets had no clue about her past, they didn’t have to know the truth, and in the end it was roundabout story about a poor girl’s life gone right.

“She earned the best actress award over some of the best in the nation.”  Miichan pointed out.

“The award was well-earned.”

“Rumors…”  Haruna breathed.

“There were many that came out.”  Takamina confirmed.  “None could point out a newcomer gaining such a prestigious award.”

“You know something.”  Yuko blurted catching her by surprise.

“I don’t need to say it.”

Takamina escaped from the room with the sound of the telephone blaring from the other room.  Yuko picked up her stack searched through them.  Miichan and Haruna glanced at the boss before heading back to their fresh stacks of documents.  Effortlessly, it was a seek-and-destroy mission for the three without clarifying any problems on the papers.

-----

“This is Takahashi Minami.”

“Maeda Atsuko has asked me to speak to you.”

The man’s voice caught her by surprise.  Acchan rarely left her personal life to others and with a man she didn’t know, it could only mean trouble for her.  Holding onto the phone, she took a deep, sensual breath before blowing out a stream of hot air.  “What is it about?”

“You are friends with her.  I want to ask if you know why she was seen at a bar last night.”

The stern voice haunted her mind like a ghost chasing away visitors.  She firmly held the phone again to her ear, hoping that Acchan would at least hear her voice.  Calming her nerves down a bit, she grabbed the stress ball in her drawer, and massaged it in her right hand.

“We had a few drinks and talked about life in general.”  She replied in a bitter tone.

“I see.  Even as a friend, you know about her life.  I want to know why she only has you as a friend.”

Takamina squeezed the ball until it slipped out of her hand and bounced onto the phone, instantly hanging up the call.  In desperation, she dialed Acchan’s number to no availability.  She put the phone back onto the set and walked into the workstation.

Her body felt like lead as she took her seat.  The image of her friend was hindered by a dirty past.  It was well-known that she was forced into situation with many boys.  The Acchan of the spotlight was different than the private Acchan.  The conditions between the two entities were night and day.  She rarely liked to visit and the previous was a lone exception.

Hiding her eyes from the crowd, she lowered them to the dark brown eyes that she had known all her life.  Takamina could never turn away for a moment.  The gaze was her favorite move towards people.  It was a developed sense that she acquired through the experience.  She made it a trademark move for her movies and the people could surround her as fans.

However, she hid them quickly and grabbed a cold beer in her hand.  Pacing toward a booth on the other side of bar, Takamina took her drink and kicked it back into the throat.  Acchan nursed it for a while leaving her vulnerable to the patrons around her.

“I’m going to leave after this film.”  She stated as the liquor touched her pink lips.

“Why?”

“It isn’t fair to say it but I missed you too much to think straight.”  She breathed.  “Every day, I wanted to always ask about your life but I forget that you aren’t around.”

“Maybe rest for a while to get your energy back.”  She suggested.

“I may consider it.  Yet I want to leave for a sheltered life.”  She said with the beer passing through her system.

“You are so far into it.  Why change it?”

Acchan slipped a picture to her friend.  Takamina’s jaw dropped to the ground.  It was surprising but she had her reasons to leave soon.  It was a bombshell and the news coming out quickly could destroy her.  Sliding the picture back, Takamina grasped her hand.

“I think you should continue.”  She suggested.

Before Acchan could state her argument, Takamina dropped off their bill to the bartender.  It was quick and maybe a chance separate their lives but it was too important to let it crash.  The elder member walked away with just a head nod and accepted any questions coming her way.

Emo

The three stared up at the clock wondering if the work was going to disappear but it seemed to stare at them with expectation.  Holding the first set aside, Nyaro and Miichan stacked the first box to put it aside.  A sound of thunder struck their hearing and turned towards Yuko, who was holding her stomach.

“Nee, you want some lunch?”  Nyaro asked.

“I should have something here.”

Yuko walked out with her eyes set on the location her crash.  The area was cleaned from the night before but the little shards were still stuck in the carpet.  Yuko lifted her right hand above the ground and lifted the pieces off the ground.  Holding the shards in her hand, she turned it into clear sand before smashing it into a small diamond.  She grabbed the container in front of her and opened it slowly to find a sandwich.

“You!  I saw that.”  The voice caught her as Takamina pointed at her.

“If you want this, you can have it.”  Yuko offered.  “It isn’t worth anything to me.”

Takamina snatched the diamond from the ground as Yuko bit into her sandwich.  Chewing slowly, she began to reminisce about her life on the Hencho.  It was easier to fit in with the others compared to Japan but she never felt awkward in being around people.  Especially when she met Nyaro, it was new to meet someone not like her.

She bit into the sandwich again and turned to see Nyaro staring at her.  Before she could say anything, Takamina showed the diamond to her.  Intrigued by the item, Yuko walked passed by her with sandwich in hand and chewed on the dry bread as she began to dwell into her thoughts.

“Yuko, you seem to like Nyaro a lot.”  Miichan commented.

“She is rather warm towards people and doesn’t mind my weird ways.”

“She may be a little unusual too.”

“How so?”

“She doesn’t like controlling men and she rarely shows affection towards them in general.”  Miichan pointed out.

“Ahh, does it mean that she will eventually hate me?”

Miichan shook her head as she scooted her chair closer to her.  Moving her hair aside, she placed her lips close to her ear.  Yuko giggled as she was ready to speak and settled down.

“Nyaro will never hate you.”  She whispered.

“Why?”  Yuko mouthed.

“Because she likes to have friends because it makes her feel comfortable.  Like Takahashi and I will never be friends with her, in a way close enough to hear her problems.  But you have potential to get her secrets out of her.”

Yuko showed a toothy smile as the image swirled in her head.  It was an opportunity to adapt herself into an environment away from the violence in her home planet.  She felt confident that it could be a reason to stay beyond her agreement.  Then, she began to realize the consequence of not returning and the videos of the past changed her smile into a stern glare at the wall.

“What’s wrong?  You were all happy and now serious.”

“I can’t let myself get entwined with her.  It would only hurt her if I do succeed in wooing her but do you think she will warm up after she realize the truth?”

The room went silent for a bit as Miichan started to think about her co-worker and slowly nod her head to problem at hand.  Takamina walked in looking at Yuko for a bit before turning her attention towards Miichan as she was staring at the ceiling.

“Let’s take the rest of the day off.”  She suggested with a smirk.

“What about the work?”  Miichan asked.

“It doesn’t matter now.  We need to leave anyway.”  Takamina replied with a big grin.

The four strolled out of the workplace as men came into the room and started to throw everything onto the floor like a garbage pile.  Takamina bit down on her lip as she pressed the button to send them to the lobby.  They felt helpless towards the situation as they watched the men pile papers on top of each other.  They bowed one last time before the elevator doors opened and left without glancing back at their former workplace.

“I guess we need to find new jobs.”  Nyaro scoffed at the two.

“Kojima-san, I’m sorry about all this.”  Takamina apologized as she bowed to the two.  “I never expected this to happen.”

“It’s all right Takahashi-san.”

“No one is to blame except us for accepting a lame job to increase our hopes.”  Haruna grumbled.

“Nyaro, a job is something you do for life.”  Yuko started.  “I cannot feel your pain but I can help you find an offer.”

“How can you help me?”

“I saw a paper sign talking about modeling while we were rushing and I thought you would like to try.”

Haruna showed a smile as the thought wasn’t worth a try but she wanted to seek what the cost of the project itself with other questions.  Then she glanced over at Yuko like a dog wanting to play, she couldn’t resist the innocent smile Yuko had.  She knew kittens don’t smile but showed affection through touch.  Yuko knew that she understood the details but the answer seemed farther away.

“I’ll look into it.”  She commented as she looked over at Miichan.

“Mariko always wanted me to help her promote her look for prospective clients so I’ll be doing that a while.”  Miichan responded as they looked towards Takamina.

“I’m pretty much doomed for now.  I need to get everything together again before I look for a job.”  She sighed as the door opened to the lobby.

“Takamina!”

“Acchan?  What are you doing here?”

“I wanted to invite you to a party but since you’re here we can go together now.”  She explained as she grabbed for her hand.

“Wait!”

“What’s the matter?”

“I lost my job.  I don’t feel like going to a party now.”  Takamina responded.

“I’m going to announce my new role as of today.”

“You are going to continue to play girlfriend to the jerk?”

“No, I want to show them our relationship.”  She explained with a half-smile.

Takamina fell to her knees and dug her face into her hands.  Acchan held her close as the three watched them had a sacred moment of relief.  Miichan kneel down to eye level and gave a confident nod to them.  Nyaro and Yuko just watched the glorious moment unfold in front of them.

“Are you sure?”  Takamina mumbled through her tears.

“If I wasn’t serious, I wouldn’t have come here.”  Acchan replied.

Nyaro unconcerned for both of them left with Yuko to head to the nearest drinking hole she could find at the moment.  Yuko followed her around many places before settling on a small place where no one was in attendance.  She took her seat at the bar and was given a small bottle of premium sake with two cups.  Yuko understood the situation and poured the first cup for her as Nyaro returned the favor.

“You know tradition.”  Nyaro commented as she kicked back her first cup.

“I learned it on my way here.”

Yuko kicked back her drink and the elixir burned her throat for a moment before smoothing out towards the end.  She let out a loud sigh as the drink started to slowly take effect on her mind.  The clearing ability seemed to do its work and both poured drink for each other.

“One more for our health.”  Nyaro shouted.

“One more.”  Yuko agreed.

The place slowly filtered in people but Haruna disregarded their presence as she grew rowdy with every cup she took.  However, Yuko developed the affinity to the drink and just poured drinks for her new friend at her request.  She never expect four bottles to be finished to let Nyaro stumbled through the town.

“You know… I like girls… right?”

“Yes I do.”

“I guess it wouldn’t be excusable.”

Nyaro leaned in and pressed her lips on top of Yuko.  Feeling the weight going towards her, she tried to keep her upright as the alcohol was starting its battle.  Yuko couldn’t resist a chance and turned her around as the drunken woman faced her back to the wall.  Clasping each other hands, she pressed them onto the wall until Haruna brushed her away.

“I feel better when I’m around you.  You have something I like and I hope it stays.”

“I don’t know what you mean?”  Yuko said with a questioned look.

“Let’s go home and we’ll sleep on it.”  Nyaro suggested.

“I guess so.”

Yuko guided the drunk back home where she collapsed onto her half-made futon and ventured to dreamland.  She observed Nyaro closely and smiled at her.  She didn’t know what was wrong with the situation but fear grew within her.

Down

Yuko never expected the warm feelings of humans to rub off on her.  It seemed unusual with the other stories she had heard while protesting her mission but it was true that they never returned because of the humans attracting to them.  Her night was spent watching over the red-faced woman as she snoozed through the creaks of the continuous pacing.

"Thank you for a wonderful night, Yuko." She shouted as she turned over to the other side of the futon.

"It. was nothing."  She stuttered.

Yuko sat down on her futon and gently went to her side.  She kept eyes on Haruna as the thoughts started to jumble up again.  She wanted to show her feelings but yet didn't want to feel too closely attached to her, which would cost her life.  Yuko carefully reached out for her hands and wrapped them with her warm touch.

"Haruna, I want to thank you for everything but I'm sorry for this."  She confessed before staring down on her lips.

Closely she moved in towards the target, her body grew weak with the opportunity becoming realized in front of her.  Yuko closed her eyes as she reached out for her and touched briefly upon her lips.  She tumbled backwards as her partner remained unchanged.  Yuko slowly went to her knees and watched her again.

"Nyaro, please don't hurt me."  She pleaded.

"Yuko~ I don't want you to leave."  Haruna shouted before resting her arms to her side again.

Yuko leaned towards her seeing her opportunity again but Haruna's hand snatched her body and brought her in close.  Constricting the body with her strong arms, Yuko felt like a pray of an anaconda.  The more she struggled, the more her grip started to restrict her body.  Yuko reached out in trying to awake the drunken woman.  She felt something soft beneath her hand and grabbed it with all her might.

"ITAI!"

Yuko released her grip and rolled away from Haruna.  She wasn't sure what had happened but she sneaked a smile as the anger arose from the woman.  She felt Haruna coming closer and kept her position until she was turned over by Nyaro.

"What is the deal in grabbing my chest?"  She asked angrily.

"I don't know. I only wanted to tell you good night and you grabbed me."  Yuko lied as the panic grew within her.

"A shake would have been sufficed."  She replied as she held her right breast.

"Gomen."

"I don't like it when people take advantage of me so I wait until they are ready to commit."  She explained when Yuko lunged in to hug her.

"I'm sorry.  I didn't mean it.  Please don't hurt me."

"Hmm, you know how to give out punishment.  Now you must suffer."  She warned as Nyaro looked into Yuko's eyes.

Nyaro clamped down her wrists to the futon.  Yuko refused to struggle away from her grip as Haruna moved in closer and pecked her on the lips.  She quickly released the grip and rolled over to her side to sleep.

"Your punishment is to sleep."  She said lazily as the woman went into her deep sleep.

Yuko frozen from the stare slowly adjusted to the bed and closed her eyes.  The warning sunk deeper into her mind as she transcended into the darkness.  Her last memory of the night was the smiling woman as she turned to sleep off her fear.

"Mayu"

"Mayu, wake up."

"Yukirin, what is it?"

"Transmission from headquarters."  She responded.

Mayu rolled off her bed, seeing the clock had just turned three A.M.  Rubbing off the sleep, Mayu took out her computer from under her bed and turned on the screen.  It was slightly fuzzy at first before self-adjusting to a clear picture.

"I haven't heard a report from you in a while."  The woman calmly started with a stern look on her face.

"Sayaka-sama, gomen.  Yukirin has been sputtering for a while so I have been working all day in trying to fix the problem."  She replied to her.

"She has been your pet for a while now, must be something else on your mind that is bothering you."

Mayu felt her chest tighten a bit.  It wasn't far off that Sayaka sometimes would see through the façade Mayu presented when she lied.  She glanced at Yukirin before looking back at the screen.  Mayu could see her expression clearly and nodded her head.

"It is Yuko.  She is here for a reason.  Please tell me why you sent her here."  Mayu questioned as she sat down on the bed.

"101788 is on a mission."  She said bluntly.

"What type of mission?"  She asked in a soft voice.  "I'm required to know if her life will be in danger."

"She isn't in any kind of danger."  Sayaka replied.

"What about the children?  They must be missing her."

"It has been arranged to have them occupied by another teacher.  101788 is now free to do whatever she feels like doing."

"What do you mean?"  Mayu asked with a shrill in her voice.

"She is not one of us anymore."  Sayaka replied.  "She is a permanent resident of Japan until she dies."

Mayu felt a knot in her stomach.  She usually didn't care about other beings but Yuko was somebody that she respected for a long time.  She was the reason why she became an "A" in the first place.  Yuko had encouraged her to journey outside the planet and head to her current location.  Mayu was glad that she had come to visit but the news was distracting her from the call.

"Is there a responsibility I have for her?"

"You can choose to help her adapt to the environment or let her work through the process."

Mayu nodded her head when the transmission got knocked off.  She looked at the black screen and shook it violently as the shadow was the only thing she saw until it finally went completely black.  Mayu stared at the screen, frozen over the sudden situation on the other side.  She waited a while before the transmission was turned back on.

"What happened?"  Mayu shouted.

"A revolution has started."  Sayaka mumbled.

"Revolution?  Why wasn't it explained earlier?"

"Hencho has lost the leader and now the factions have started fighting each other."  She explained.  "The T faction has been ruling ever since and the government has been fighting back to no accomplishment."

"T faction?"  She question as her mind thought about the faction.

"Commanders of the army have been after the traitors and are coming after the loyalists."

"I have my arms ready.  Let them follow you here."  Mayu commanded.

"I will."  Sayaka responded.

The screen turned black and Mayu turned towards Yukirin.  “T faction?”

“73191 and 111691 are T faction.”

“Those two!”  Mayu shouted.  “We are up for a battle.”

“Mayu… Sayaka will know what to do.”  She informed.  “Don’t be rash.”

“Yukirin, you are so smart but I need to recruit.”

Mayu turned on the lights and started to set up the system for the A’s to come to Japan to fight the battle.  Mayu took a deep breath as her hands were molding the wires together but a thought hit her mind.  She paused for a bit when a bright light blinded her from outside.

“Yukirin, get your weapons ready.”  Mayu commanded.

“Acchan, where are you going?”  Takamina asked as she down her sixth beer of the night.

“Going home.”  She responded as she moved her partner’s hair back away from her eyes.

“Don’t leave me here.”

“I won’t, I just need to get you on my back.”

Takamina swayed in her chair before releasing a thunderous belch before standing up.  The world around her was moving with her every moment as she concentrated on her friend.  With a kooky smile, she lunged forward into her arms.  She started to laugh as Acchan’s pained expression started to appear.

“I’m not that heavy.”  She commented as the weight was becoming troublesome for her.

“You are heavy.”  Acchan complained as she got her stand erect before offering her back.

“You are so kind.”

Takamina climbed on top, letting Acchan grab her legs.  She looked over at the bartender and tapped her fingers on the wood.  As he offered the tab, she dropped handed him a piece of paper with a number scribbled on it.

“Maeda-san, I’ll see you later.”  He nodded as he slipped it into the cash register.

Carrying her out of the bar, Acchan was aware of the hidden traps that she faced on a daily basis.  It wasn’t normal to see a rogue photographer out at night.  She fielded many rumors of a supposedly boyfriend during a premiere but quickly shot it down with the same comment, “We’re just friends.”  It was the truth but it didn’t prevent the many offers she had received since she debuted.  However, she always kept the one card that kept her from quitting and the only reason why Takamina never denied her feelings.

--------
Acchan,

I want to say that I’ll always support you.  Since we were young, we had our dreams and I always wanted you to become an actress.  You told me every part you received and always looked for you in it.  You were maybe in there for a split second but it always made my day.  A year later, you got your starting role.  You were beautiful as a high school girl fighting other badasses and the glasses were cute on you.

Anyways, there is something I wanted to ask.  I heard a rumor that you are resisting any guy coming your way.  A black widow, they say.  Why aren’t you living a normal life?  Please explain.

-Takamina

Acchan knew her friend was concerned for her but it was a secret that she truly couldn’t let anyone break a sacred bond.  She asked for a personal day off during filming and paid a day’s salary to compensate the cast and crew for the one day and headed back to Tokyo.  Holding the letter in hand, she put on sunglasses to hide the red, strained eyes.  The long ride only supported the toughest decision she had held back for fifteen years when she decided on that dream.

Arriving at the station, she pushed through the crowd and saw her at the gate with a red ribbon placed on her head.  She paced towards her keeping her head down until she felt the warmth of her body.  She didn’t hide her fear as the hug lasted for a minute before releasing her grip.

“That’s my answer.”  Acchan whimpered.

“Your answer?”  She hesitated.

“Yes, my answer.  I want to spend my day off with you.”

“Are you sure?  Any person would want you though…”

Acchan moved closer and pressed her lips on top of Takamina.  The thoughts of fearing the media disappeared as she got her mind on what she had been wanting for a long time.  She pulled back from the surprised Takamina and gave her a half smile.

“I only want you.”  She whispered before walking by her.
---------

Going back to that time, Acchan became aware of the storm that was to follow if she was caught with Takamina.  She went as far as putting a wig on her, to show off her new boyfriend to the nation.  Takamina didn’t mind the attention but the lingering effects of their relationship did take a toll for a while.

Acchan refused to let her guard down at any time and carried her to the nearest hotel.  She bypassed the front desk and headed into the elevator.  Takamina awoke from her quick nap to notice the elevator and quickly passed out again.  Carrying her to the sixth floor, she took out the hotel key and popped it into the scanner, opening the door to the room.

It was littered with scattered clothes on the bed and floor.  She dropped her off onto the bed before heading to the bathroom.  Takamina rolled to her side and noticed the mess in the room.  Instinctively, she gathered the clothes around her and threw them to the side creating an empty space for Acchan.  She glared at the closed door, wondered when she would come out and counted down from ten a few times before her eyes closed.

“Acchan! Come out already.”  She shouted with a drunken smile.

“I’m out.  Do you need to use the bathroom?”  She replied as Takamina opened her eyes again.

“No, silly.  I want you to lay with me.”

Acchan jumped onto the empty spot on the bed and tasted her liquor-filled lips.  Despite her appearance, Takamina was great at handling her alcohol unless she was depressed.  However, it was more of a celebration to her as she reached for the bottom brim of her shirt and slowly revealed her stomach.

“You look so pretty.”

“Don’t say that.  I can’t help when I get flattered.”  She smiled.

“Why don’t you show me why you are not pretty?”  Takamina questioned as she lifted the shirt to show her bra.

“I don’t want to do it tonight.”

“We never did it for a long while.  Are you afraid of something?”

“It isn’t that but I need to be fresh for tomorrow.  Since it is our last day of filming, I want to at least show up refreshed.  I promise tomorrow we can have our time to have fun.”  Acchan explained as she held her hand to her partner’s forehead.

“You promised?”

“I promised.  I always want to show my affection to you.”

Acchan suddenly saw the light from afar and turned Takamina over to the window.  The stream of light awoke Takamina from her drowsiness.  She rolled off the bed and landed on the carpet below.  Acchan dropped to the floor as the ground started to shake.  For a few seconds, she thought the earthquake had hit again and closed her eyes until it stopped.

“Takamina, are you okay?”

“Yeah, what about you?”

“I’m okay.”  She said confidently as she peeled herself off the floor.  “What was that?”

“I’m not sure.  We better stay here until the coast is clear.”

Within a few seconds, a siren went off through the city.  Acchan grabbed her partner and ran downstairs to the lobby.  They arrived with a few people congregating around the front desk.  She started to feel out for her sunglasses but realized it was still upstairs and hid her eyes for the moment.  Acchan didn’t want to get recognize at an event like this and dragged Takamina back into the stairwell.

“We can be safe here.”

“My head is starting to hurt now.”  She commented as she held her head.

“I guess you had too much to drink.”

“I’ll rest here until the siren dies down.”

Acchan poked her head outside to find the police by the front desk.  She was forced to drag Takamina out from their hiding spot and approach the small group outside.  The people started to clamor about the actress as she headed toward the police.  She stood in front of them and stared at them for a moment before turning their attention to her.

“Maeda-san, it is an honor to meet you.”  Said the first officer with a thick black moustache and parted thin hair.

“What happened?”  She asked as she honored them with a bow

“Something hit the street and we are now investigating the scene.”

Although it seemed short, she was confident the police would solve it as swiftly as possible.  The guests were anxious for the news but never received it.  After half an hour, through the radio, they heard the news.

We have ten officers dead at the scene.  Two women with high-powered guns are terrorizing the city.

Acchan glanced at them before leaving the hotel.  Fearing the worst, she headed back up to her to pack as Takamina slouched into position to sleep the rest of the night.
