Drunken Hearted #13 - The Sobering MelancholyThis show was dedicated to the memory of Kyle Bouvier (marimari).First of all sorry about the technical difficulties (pauses). I have no idea what caused them (but I suspect the firewall going berserk).
While some of the songs played in this show don't carry a special meaning other than the mood or perhaps a title, some do:
fra-foa - Aojiroi TsukiThis was one of the saddest, most heart-wrenching songs I knew even before. Just read the
lyrics and you'll understand why I was instantly reminded of this song. Chisako wrote the song about his own brother who passed away when she was a child.
Sequence Pulse - Railroad To HeavenAs the title suggests, this 13-minute post-rock epic symbolizes the journey onward, and beyond.
Yuki Kajiura - Zero HourThis melancholic piano track symbolizes how sad and empty I felt.
Ayumi Hamasaki - Ever Free
Just read the
lyrics. T___T
Thanks to aedon for providing this one, as well as the Asuca Hayashi song.
Risa Niigaki - Furusatomarimari was truly the best fan Risa could ever hope for.
Peace be with you, Kyle Bouvier. Always.
