Chapter 1
Yuko POV
"Over there!!! That's Minami!" I hear guys shouting across the hallway looking as Minami and I walk down talking casually.


"Wahh!!!! Isn't that Oshima-kun? He looks so cute!!" I hear girls fangirling over me, Oshima-sama.


But I Oshima-sama only has eyes for cute girls, when random people scream over me, I don't even care very much (not really I do


We get to the student council center and sit where we usually do. Minami and I are the student council leaders for our grade, while Kojima and Shinoda Mari are the student leaders for the school because they are a year older than us.

"Everyone, get to your seats. Today we are going to do a desk swap." Kurokawa-sensei announces.

Personally, I really love where I sit. I have the window right next to me and I can even see the girl's changing room from here... *drool* And more importantly.. I can sit next to this midget.

-Student council room


"Oi, Oshima, why did I end up sitting next to you again..?" Minami asks.
I ended up drawing number 24 from the box, where I was sitting last time. While Minami also grabbed the same seat, 23 as last time.


"*sigh* I really wanted to sit somewhere else, I always end up sitting next to you!" Minami complains.
Well, I guess you can't help it. I've been living next to Minami since childhood and I always seemed to be sitting next to her at school as well.



"Hey~~ Oshima~ Are you even listening to me~!?" Minami questions, because I don't answer her.
"Oshimaaa~~" Minami's face comes right into me....

Wowwww~~!!!>> Too close!!
I quickly pull away from Minami and try desperately to hide my face that I can feel blushing and my heart beat faster.
What is wrong with me!!?
I've never seen Minami this close to me before...
Wow... Her lips were so...

Oshima, snap out of it! You're going weird!



"Oshima! You're so weird lately!" Minami shouts at me.

"You two midgets over there! You're too loud, go stand outside!" Kurokawa sensei scolds us.
Minami looks at me as if she is blaming it on me, but I just ignore her gaze and stand silently.

-After the bell
"Oshima! It was all your fault!"

"How can it be my fault!? You were the one that started complaining!"

"But you're the one that picked the seat in the first place!"

-*sigh* Ever since we started middle school we've been always like this, all the way up until now in high school.



"*sigh* I give up I'm going now!" Minami says as she walks off.

"Going to buy some drink" I say casually as I leave my group.
"Wait Oshima, can you buy me Coke?" Kojima one of my best buddies asks.
"Go buy it yourself, idiot" I say as I walk away to the vending machine near the stairs.

'Coke~ Coke~' I hum to myself as I try to find the Coke button on the vending, being the nice friend I am I'm just going to buy it for Kojima.




"Atsu" I hear a familiar voice call out softly.
Minami's voice.
I peek over at the staircase and see Atsu and Minami flirting with each other.
Atsu is Minami's boyfriend and they started going out around Middle school. Sometimes I wonder if that's what the reason is to why Minami calls me 'Oshima' instead of 'Yuu' like she used to.

Atsu really treasures Minami so I don't mind them going out but..

"Mmmm.. Atsu" Minami moans as they kiss passionately.
I've never heard or seen Minami like this before...
Honestly her voice arouses me but more than anything it makes my heart melt.

It hurts seeing Minami with another guy, showing sides of her that I've never seen before...
It feels like someone's pounding at my heart with a giant hammer...
I think I like Minami.. After 12 years I guess I understand now...



I should have taken her when I had the chance...

Embarrassed, I wipe my teary eyes as I head back to my mates.

Yuko fight for ur love and Minami stop being mean!!! Maybe the reason she stopped calling yuko yuu is because atsu gets jelouse with the two of their relationship after all they are childhood friends plus they are in the same class and always sit next to eachother. But then if Atsu doesnt take care of Minami im sure Yuko will have his say about it
