In the do it now performance, it was interesting comparing reina to some of the others. Miki and ai both had more singing parts and not surprisingly that's what they concentrated on. Their dancing was fine, but reina, who only had a line here and there, was totally engaging to watch the whole time.

tbh if i was a singer in a group, when it isnt my time to sing, i wont really put much effort, since the others will just cover my voice, only try hard when your solo comes

well if thats the case, i will limit my camera with picture in the concert then, i'll use my phone, haha, they will never notice...of course if i dont get stamped on by the wota's that are there..

^^ Jumping around like they do when not providing the main vocals makes any serious singing (other than punk rock) pretty much impossible. :-)

Of the other videos I've seen of that do it now perf, risa comes the closest to reina in being "on" all the time (though risa looks very serious and paces herself like a race car driver, gathering herself on the straights and giving it her all on the twisty bits).

Reina's relatively weak backup singing may be the cost of never easing up on the dancing and persona.

I'm starting to better appreciate how the mm members are like an orchestra, each like a specific instrument with its own part contributing to the whole.

OK, I'll now say eri comes second to reina at being charming while performing after seeing her do it now shots.

Going to concerts: Wear boots! (A necessity around mosh pits, along with ear plugs.)

Maybe we'll get to see a punk reina some day like we got a rock mika/nana for a while.
