Chapter 4***
Next day..At school…training time for the athlete…
“Jurina..??” Kuumin elt surprise with the fact that Jurina came to training.
“Why u look like that??” Jurina felt a bit uncomfortable with Kuumin reaction.
“Nope..it just..this is the first time that u come..” Kuumin explain as she doesn’t want Jurina misunderstood her reaction.
“Hmm..is everyone here??” Jurina ask as she can see lot of people coming.
“YUP!! But..Kanon..she..” Kuumin said weakly with a bitter smile on her face.
“What about her??”
“She’s going home early..”
“Why??”
“I don’t know..still..dun worry..she’s excellent..” Kuumin shook her head and said the words that can comfort her heart.
“U look disappointed..” Jurina said as she can see the shadow of sadness at kuumin face.
“Not really…”
“Yuria!!! Yui!!!” Kuumin called the other 2 member that involve with 4x400m while waving her hand hard at 2 person that currently warm up.

Kuumin running around asking about something to the person that sitting near the track. She then met with a girl that doing nothing except watching all the athlete training.
“Ano…u..what are u doing here??” kuumin try to approach with a simple question.
“Me??” that girl pointing out herself as if she doesn’t knew that question is directly asking towards herself.
“Yes..who else..” Kuumin nod and stared at that one girl with full of hope in her eyes. She really need someone right now.
“Watching the scenery..and our school athlete training…why??” that girl bluntly said while showing clearly she doesn’t really interesting to Kuumin need.
“Can u help me??” Kuumin ask with pleading eyes and smiles on her face.
“Why should I??”
“Please..I need to go there..” Kuumin pointing at a centre on the field where high jump training going on.
“So??” that girl still doesn’t care of Kuumin request.
“Hmm..being a timer for them..the runner..there..” Kuumin showing and pointing the track where the runner are warming up while waiting for herself.
“Please…” Kuumin said in desperate tone.
“Yeah2..” that girl nod coldly and take the timer that Kuumin give.

“Are u gonna take our time??” Yui ask at the girl that just coming towards them with the timer in her hands.
“Yeah..” that girl nod and look at the person in front of her emotionless.
“This is the record for our time..hmm, write it after u got it..” Yui give some paper where their time is recorded all the time.
“Ok…”that girl smile bitterly while answered Yui question.
“Are u really understand it??” Yui seeking a confirmation as she realize that she doesn’t really explaining in detail.
“Yeah..I’m not stupid..” that girl answered coldly without concern the staring eyes of the person that stand in front of her.
“Sry..u really don’t have anything to ask??” Yui pretending she doesn’t heard anything and repeating her question.
“YES..” that girl glared at her while nodding confirming that she know what she should done.
“Ok then..” Yui just grin and smiling widely as she leave that girl alone.

After 6 times running by turns…Yuria and Jurina resting and discussing something while Yui running towards the stranger that helping them taking their time for each running.
“Do u write it all??” Yui ask calmly after she take her time to breath properly.
“Kind of..” that girl said weakly as she don’t really confidence.
“What do u mean??” Yui realize the different tone of voice of the girl that kept telling her she’s know everything before.
“Hmm..let me..” ??” Yui take the record and scan it for a second.
“Yosh!! Finish..thanks for taking our time properly..” Yui said while bow a little and leaving after finishing writing something at the record that the girl write before.
“welcome..” that girl quite surprise as she doesn’t been scolded for doing any mistake even though she’s sure she make a mistake somewhere.
How did she knew who is who with my own way of writing..and I taught that I done some mistake there.

At night..Matsui house…“Non-chan..are u really ok by urself??” Rena said with a concern voice. She’s worried that something gonna happened while she’s gone.
“Yup..” Kanon reassured her while hugging tightly her favorite dolls.
“Let me cancel my plan..” Rena still unsure about Kanon as she can see there is some sign of the things that she afraid on Kanon face.
“Mou..Nee-chan..” Kanon pout cutely and with the pleading eyes she push Rena out of her room.
“But..”
“I’m not a kid!!” Kanon said as if she angry.
“Yeah2..take care..rest and sleep early..” Rena pat Kanon head and kiss her forehead before walking away.
“I knew..” Kanon whispered to herself.

At the same time…at a certain restaurant.
“Can I knew the reason why we have this double date??” Mariko make unsatisfied face as her date with Haruna and only Haruna is ruined with the news that Haruna just said.
“Mariko-chan..u should be thankful to them..” Haruna said with the wide smile on her face.
“Who??” Mariko ask as if she doesn’t knew anything.
“Rena-chan…” Haruna answered shortly.
“Why??”
“She’s the one that save our relationship..” Haruna explain as sweet as she can. She knew that Mariko just be her own self.
“Huh..yeah..” mariko nod and smiling bitterly with that one fact.
“And for me…Yuki-chan..she’s really be there when I need her…” Haruna filled with joy while remembering her best friend.
“Suspicious…” Mariko shook her head and put the face that she thinking something.
“What??” Haruna felt confuse with Mariko reaction.
“U and Yuki-chan..” Mariko look at Haruna as if she make a mistake.
“She’s my best friend k..” Haruna can’t believe what Mariko said and thinking.
“Yeah2…”Mariko nod weakly .
“Sorry..I’m late..” a sudden familiar voice ame from their back.
“Iie..we’re the one that come early..where is Rena-chan??” Haruna shook her head and smile happily as she’s very happy to see her friend again.
“She’s come later..her little sister have fever..” Yuki said with concern voice.
“Huh..that’s serious..” Mariko said as if she’s whispered.
“Hmm..” Haruna and Yuki look curious after heard Mariko words.
“Owh, sorry..nothing..” Mariko wave her hand and shook her head before continue looking at the menu.

“Gomen!! I’m late..” Rena said while sitting next to Yuki that look worried.
“It’s alrite..how about ur sister??” Mariko ask as she curious about Kanon condition.
“She’s ok..I guess..” Rena nod weakly. Her face clearly shown that she’s felt uneasy.
“Daijoubu…” Yuki held Rena hand after seeing Rena worried face. Rena just nodded weakly to reduce Yuki’s worried towards herself.

“So..everything done??” Mariko ask while waiting or the desert.
“Yeah..perfectly done…” Rena nod while eating her own food that she still struggling to finish.
“As expected from u..” Mariko said bluntly.
“No..no..thanks to ur idea..” Rena shook her head a bit.
“LOL..it’s ur idea too..” Mariko laugh a bit seeing Rena that look a bit anxious as she’s the only one that not finish yet the main dish.
“Yeah2..combination..” Rena nod as she agree with Mariko words.

“How’s ur date with Mariko??” Yuki asking Haruna after realizing that Haruna kept glancing at her.
“Nice..thanks to Rena that we’ve still together..” Haruna smiling widely as she really meant what she said.
“How about u and Rena??” Haruna ask as she curious about Yuki and Rena progress.
“Not good..BUT excellent…”
“Waa…I guess she’s perfect like what u describe before..” Haruna tease Yuki that look shy after the words that she said.
“Yeah..kind of..she always make me surprise..” Yuki grin while saying it. All the events that Rena done before playing in her mind.
‘’I also surprise with Mariko..” Haruna suddenly said.
“Huh..what happened??” Yuki quite surprise with Haruna words as she always heard she’s complaining lot of things about Mariko that actually Mariko’s charm in her eyes.
“U knew that she think she’s dreaming even though she’s eating and talking like normal person did..” Haruna said what she actually going through before.
“Really??” Yuki scanning Mariko that currently having some chat with Rena.
“Mou…Haruna-chan…are u gonna tell everything to her??” Mariko realize that Yuki stared at her and did heard everything that Haruna said from the start.
“We’re best friend..” Haruna bluntly answered.
“Huh..about me too??” Rena ask Yuki that nodding as response of Haruna words.
“Yeah..rena-chan..” Yuki nodded with a smirk on her face. Rena and Mariko look at each other as they felt unsecured with their girlfriends word.

At school..after school time..training time..school track..
Jurina came after absent a few times before.
“She’s not here??” Jurina asking as soon as she meet Kuumin that busy looking for someone to helping her again.
“Ah..Jurina-chan..who?? Kanon??” Kuumin scratching her head.
“Yes..” Jurina nod and answered shortly.
“Hmm..she’s absent today..” Kuumin said weakly as if she doesn’t have energy left in her body.
“Why??” Jurina asking as she’s too curious with Kanon. The girls that make herself uneasy recently.
“I don’t know..” Kuumin bluntly said as she also doesn’t know the reason.
“U doesn’t contact her??”
“I did message ..but no reply..” Kuumin said while her eyes keep roaming the surrounding area.
“Owh..hmm..” Jurina speechless. She can’t really ask what she want to know directly to Kuumin. Her mind still controlling her feeling very well.
“That girl again..YES!!!” Kuumin shout as she found the similar girl that helping her before.
“Who?? Who??” Jurina asking and looking at the place where kuumin see.
“The timer..” Kuumin smile as she found the solution or her problem.

“Again??” that girl look unsatisfied with a sudden request.
“Yup..” Kuumin said while wearing a pleading eyes.
“Do u want to ask anything??” Kuumin asking as she see uncertainty in that girl eyes.
“No..are u sure??” Kuumin ask again after that girl shook her head.
“YUP!!” that girl said firmly. She doesn’t really care about helping Kuumin BUT someone did disturbing her mind.
“Yeah2..then..” Kuumin give the time watch and run towards her own practice team.

“Yui…where’s Kuumin??” Yuria asking as she doesn’t find Kuumin after she arrived.
“Owh, she’s have high jump training..there..” Yui said while pointing at the centre of the field. There are few people that currently warming up there including Kuumin.
“Ooo..”
“Is there any competition at the nearer time??” Yuria asking as she quite curious with Kuumin schedule. Lately, she realize that Kuumin always absent in class as she always walk passing it.
“If I'm not mistaken, hmm, she said in this week..but..not sure when..” Yui said with uncertain voice.
“Ooo..” Yuria nod weakly and watch Kuumin that training hard from far.
“U want to run after Jurina??” Yui asking as she look Yuria doesn’t really concern about the turn like always.
“Nope..u first..” Yuria said while her eyes still fixing on that one figure.
“Alrite..” Yui nodded and start running.

-Training time end-“Done??” Yui bluntly ask the person in charge of taking their time. She bring along her things with her.
“Yeah..” that girl coldly answered while giving the paper that she write on to Yui.
“Nice..” Yui grin while scanning everything. She nod as she look at it as if she’s very satisfied.
“Are u that top student??” a sudden question came out unexpectedly from that one girl.
“Hmm..sorry..” Yui pretending to not heard anything.
“Top student??” Yui added as if she questioning back to that girl. She don’t really think that way at all.
“I’m not sure..” Yui bluntly said it. She really think she’s not the ‘TOP’.
“Huh..” that girl sigh. She doesn’t expecting that words came from Yui.
“U..Mayu?? Kashiwagi Mayu??” Yui said while look as if she’s thinking.
“How did u??” Mayu felt that she’s been playing by Yui. All this time, she taught that Yui doesn’t knew her.
“I think u’re the top..not me..” Yui came closer and whispered does words near Mayu ears.
“Huh..” Mayu sigh after being posses by Yui for a few second back. She stared blankly at Yui that currently walking towards Kuumin.
