Great news! This might be a stupid question but what is this "Tsunku Town Theatre"? So they're preforming a song in a play?

Well, from what I understand, CRY FOR HELP! is the first Tsunku Town Theatre play(/musical?), so it's a new thing?? Just another way for Tsunku to pimp his girls, I guess. He's holding an audition for TTT, too.

Mari has always been one of the most popular H!P girls but she seemed to lose a lot of fans after she quit Morning Musume. I guess people forgot about her since she isn't doing much with other H!P members anymore and she isn't singing. It's weird since she has been on TV more than ever.

yeah, she has a show called Yaguchi Hitori, its pretty raucus.

mari's still one of my favorite h!p girls, how can you beat her? she's awesome! i just wish mechaike still cared cus mari mechaike moments are priceless.

Btw, I read from Wikipedia that Yaguchi has her first post-MM solo release is in the works. Anyone here heard about this? Or is just a rumor that someone has written in Wikipedia as a fact?

Sounds like a rumour. I haven't seen any news of an official announcement yet. It seems more like wishful thinking to be honest. I'm not sure Mari would do all that great as a soloist (compared to what she's doing now).

I agree she's not a soloist like Maki or Nacchi. Or even Kaori. But when she's still in H!P, why not use her for an energetic summer single for example? At least it'd be an excuse to visit Utaban again

the last time she sang was at a dinner show june 22nd with inaba atsuko..she had a quite a few solos..and sang some tanpopo songs...like rainy day.. shes back to singing..after the breakup.

Forget soloist. Let her and Kei make a duo that just releases every once in a while since they're both busy with acting. Like, maybe an album once a year?

They can even have solos on there, but they both need to do performing (even if that's what Kei's doing now

YAY! It looks like my number 1 H!P girl is back in the singing scene! A new unit is being formed with Yaguchi as the leader! It looks like there will be 6 members in all, one older than Yaguchi will be in the group as well. Not much is known yet, but it is being formed to promote a famous turtle toy that's popular amoung kids and OL. A single is in the works, and they will be promoting with commercials, and performing the song on various music shows! I believe each member will correspond with a specific turtle? All the pics I've seen have Mari holding the green one, so maybe that's her "character".

Either way, I'm excited Mari is back into singing.

With the formation of this new unit she has said she's focusing more on her career and music now, and will be taking her love life at her own pace!
