Chapter 3 : Where are my legs?
A tall girl entered the room of the midget. She walked slowly, afraid that one wrong move will wake the midget up. She sneakily went to the midget’s bed, but to her dismay she found nothing but a messy bed but the owner was not there. She sighed with disappointment, her plan failed. The tall brunette still can’t forget what the midget did to her. The midget is a traitor. Nevertheless she can’t carry out her plan now, for her target is nowhere to be found.
The brunette was about to leave, however, a cold hand was wrapped around her leg. The brunette gulped. Scared, she won’t look down. She stayed in that position until the mysterious creature spoke…
“Where are my legs?”
The brunette screamed for her life and started to kick the creature’s head.
“Ittai!!Stop it Haruna!!!”
“Takamina!?”
Takamina’s pov
Haruna is currently helping me with my bleeding nose.
“What the heck Haruna…”
“It wasn’t my fault!!! What are you doing on the floor grabbing someone’s leg with a cold hand and asking for you legs!? What the heck was that are you planning for some horror novel!?” she yelled.
“ I fell from my bed. My hand is cold because I’m very tired. So tired from walking that I can’t feel my legs anymore that’s why I asked you where the heck are they. And no. I’m not planning to go back on horror now.”

My legs hurt. My head hurts. Now my ear does too. Thanks to Haruna I also got a nosebleed.
What a great way to start a day. Sarcasm noted.
“Anyways…what are you doing here?” she asked.
“Uhm..this is my unit.”
What an airhead.
“Oh…”
“What are YOU, HARUNA, DOING IN MY UNIT?” I asked a little annoyed.
“You have to deal with me. Takahashi.” She said.
“ About what?”
“Why did you tell Yuko about my heartbreak!? “ she yelled.
Gosh. My poor ears.
“I didn’t Haruna. Yuko just have this super powers to guess things right. Guess that’s because of love.” I said not minding if I spilled about Yuko’s feelings.
“Of course she loves me…she’s my best friend afterall…”
Poor Yuko…FRIENDZONED.
See? That’s why I did not bother to tell her. Because the world knows how Yuko loves her…except her.
Again, poor Yuko.
After a few moments there were some knocks on the door. A small suit wearing, squirrel looking girl entered.
“Hey Takamidget!!! Why did you call last nigh—OH MOTHER OF FATHERS!!!”

Haruna is now helping the perverted squirrel with her bleeding nose.
Okay it seems that I forgot to mention that Haruna is wearing a tight blouse with super short short skirt?
Fine. Now you know.
Also the fact that while she was tending my nose she had to lean down?
And her back facing the door?
So yea. While she was helping me with my nose, her skirt lifts up a little but it was already enough to kill a perverted squirrel with blood loss.
Haruna giggled, “You two look like twins…you know, two midgets, and two bleeding noses.”
And that’s all because of you. Tch.
But if ever, IF ever, yuko and I are twins you can probably distinguish us by our expressions because I have this annoyed look in my face while yuko over there is smiling from ear to ear.
Why?
Coz…haruna has to lean down also. And because of that, the perverted squirrel has a complete access to view haruna’s…ahm…gifted mountains.
“Ne…yuko, what are you doing here?” I asked her while having a hard time with this stupid cotton balls on my nose.
“I’m here to pick up your manuscripts.”
Fudge. I totally forgot about that.
Yuko put up a very serious and business looking expression which she rarely shows to haruna, cuse usually she’s just like a stupid idiot around haruna, which caused the latter to be shocked…
And wait… to blush?
Okay?
“Takahashi? Are you even listening to me?” she sighed. She massaged her temples.
I glanced at haruna and she was looking away, but her ears up to her neck were already red.
Seriously…is this the maji yuko effect?
Maji yuko effect, is the serious effect of yuko to other people when she turns maji mode.
Usually I see this face when she’s alone at work. And since she’s my editor I have seen this mode a lot of times before that’s why it doesn’t have any effect on me.
Anyways…yuko’s maji effect…somehow…have this seducing effect to other people. Seriously, you can see a lot of turned on faces during our meeting because of this stupid maji yuko effect.
Okay back to my issue.
“Sorry…”
“You have never disappointed me like this.”
I just bowed my head.
“Just go back to horror. That’s final.”
“I was watching your interview Minami…and I’ve read your books…in fact you can call me a fan… But you won’t be successful if you don’t know love…”
Atsuko’s words entered my mind.
“No… I have never wanted anything like this yuko…that’s why no matter what… I won’t give up.”
“Fine. Now, get all of your things in the department. Every belonging you have there…”
I gulped.
“Yuko…”
“…from now on you won’t be staying at the company…because you’ll be under the company’s greatest romance writer.” She smiled.
“Seriously…stop hanging around Mari-troll too much…”
Smiling, I sighed in relief.

We’re now inside Yuko’s car. She was driving while haruna and I are on the backseat.
“Ne..yuko..what kind of person is Ace?” I asked.
“She’s a good person…talented…but she’s very busy too. In fact she handles some of her family’s companies while she was writing. That’s why, on the second thought, I think it will be better if someone will live with her.” She said, “…she’s beautiful and hot too.” She added which caused haruna to glare at her.
Uh..oh…
“Ahm…doesn’t she mind that I’ll be staying with her?”
“Hmm…actually, for some reasons, she looked happy when I mentioned you. She’s a fan…I guess. Never thought she was interested in horror before.”
“Are you coming with me?”
“No. just look for Ace, the guard will just bring you to her room.” She bowed, “Gomen takamina…there was just an emergency in the office…”
“O-okay…” I sighed, “ Just don’t forget to pick me up okay…there are no taxi here.”
Yea. I’m here again at Midori condominiums. Luckily, I have a ride this time.
They left and I went to the security guard to ask about Ace. He just smiled and lead me to a certain unit.
1328, huh?
“I shall take my leave ma’am.”
“Arigato…”
I nervously opened the door with the key that the guard gave me earlier.
It was well furnished, simple yet modernized. There are piles of books on the floor from the same author.
Ace.
I decided to pick one just to burn some time, since Ace is not yet here.
“A-Akira…” Nao moaned her beloved’s name.
“Don’t worry…I’ll be gentle…”
“I-I want you Akira-chan…”
Akira smiled as she slowly unbuttons Nao’s blouse. It fell on the floor as Akira kissed Nao from her lips down to---

I felt legs soften and I sat on the floor.

A full blown blush exploded throughout my face.
“I see…you’ve read it.”

I slowly looked up to see a smirking Maeda Atsuko.
At this time…there are no other things I want to do but to run and escape from here. I don’t mind if I need to run up to the main gate of this condo…
But honestly…
Where are my legs?
