Chapter 26

After school, Paru is still bothered by what Yuisuke has replied regarding on Jun’s comment that they look like a married couple. Although she said to herself that she won’t get affected by it because she and Yuisuke are not dating, she was greatly affected. After school, she went home early leaving Yuisuke pissed off because they have agreed to go home together every day. Paru eventually went on a Local Park to pass her time. Shimada spotted her and decided to talk to her for a while.

“are Paru?”

“Haru-kun?”

“I never thought I would see you here” Shimada smiled

“you two..”

“Paru you okay?”

“unn…”

“really? If you are troubled by something you could open up to me…”

“actually…”

With that, Paru opened up to Shimada and told him everything regarding her and Yuisuke’s broken off relationship. Paru eventually cried and Shimada consoled her. The lad then told Paru that everything will be all right. After a few minutes of talking, the two of them head home and parted ways. When Paru arrived at home, she was welcomed by Yuisuke.

“Okaeri Paru…”

“Yuisuke…tadaima…”

“….”

“Yuisuke, I’m sorry I ditched you today…”

“Meh, you don’t need to say you’re sorry..”

“un..” Paru smiled

“Paru, can we stop going home together starting tomorrow?”

Paru didn’t respond and instead went straight to her room and cried. Meanwhile in the living room, Yuisuke bowed his head while sitting on the sofa, thinking about various things.

“when was the last time I felt frustrated like this and pushed her away…?” Yuisuke asked himself

“Paru! Will you be my girlfriend!?” one of Paru’s classmate asked

“ehh!?” Yuki was shocked

“urk!” Paru reacted

“I’ll think about it!” Paru faked a smile

“okay!” the boy then left

After that Paru and Yuki discussed about this matter. Yuki then told Paru to reject the guy if she doesn’t love her. Meanwhile with the boys, it seems they have heard about someone confessing to Paru. Jun teased Yuisuke regarding that.

“Yuisuke! You should make your move to Paru now~”

“LOL yea!” Yuu agreed

“otherwise, you’ll end up single for the rest of your life~” Mayu smiled

“meh, like I said… I don’t like Paru..” Yuisuke blushed

“oh really?” Jun asked

“yea!”

“heh~” Mayu said

Pissed off with that, Yuisuke went to the courtyard to unwind a little. He sat on a bench and looked up to a clear sky.

“well I’m here to calm down a little bit..” Paru smiled

With Yuisuke remising the past, he started to become guilty on what he has done to Paru. He cannot think straight anymore and cried. After a little while, he got up and decided to cook dinner for Paru. After he finished cooking, Yuisuke mailed Paru.

With Yuisuke acting cold towards Paru, the lass dashed to her room crying. With her in crying like that, Yuisuke felt guilty and reminisced the past. After a few moments, Yuisuke stood up from his seat and cooked dinner for the both of them. Yuisuke sent mail to Paru telling her to go downstairs to eat. But after waiting for 15 minutes, Paru was still not in the dining room. Yuisuke told himself to let her be for the time being and give her space. Meanwhile in Paru’s room, it seems the lass has received his mail but she is still disheartened on Yuisuke’s action.

Before opening the door, Paru smiled to herself and tried to act normal. After a few moments, Paru opened the door.

“W-What do you want Yuisuke?”

“I came here to get you” Yuisuke said in a straight face

Yuisuke then kneeled and bowed his head.

“Paru look, I’m sorry on what happened earlier”

“Yuisuke…” Paru blushed

“I should not have acted coldly towards you…I know you’re only concerned to me”

“Yuisuke, I’m sorry too…”

“you don’t need to say sorry… it’s my fault anyway…”

“Yuisuke, please stand up…”

“Paru, let’s eat dinner now…” Yuisuke smiled

“unn…” Paru nodded

With that said, Yuisuke suddenly carried Paru bridal style in which the lass blushed.

“Yuisuke! What’re you doing! Put me down!”

“oh Paru don’t be a Tsundere, you like it when I do this to you…” Yuisuke smirked

“I don’t like this at all!!!” Paru blushed

“oh really? Shall I put you down?”

When they have reached the dining room, Yuisuke immediately prepared the food. The moment Paru ate Yuisuke’s cooking, the lass was astonished. Whilst eating, the two of them chatted with a smile. Paru cannot stop but feel happy knowing that she is chatting with the one she love. After they ate dinner, Paru went back to her room again to chat with Yuki and the others. Yuisuke did the same and opened up his Yahoo Messenger account.

Chapter 28

Whilst Mayu was still explaining to Yuu the reason on why Yuisuke will starting working part time on a local restaurant via Yahoo messenger, Yuisuke was browsing different things on the Amazon website. A certain item then caught his eyes, another reason why he has to work. He then told the Masculados about the certain item and asked them if it is a right thing to buy in which they agree. The next day, even though Yuisuke and Paru will be going to school together, Paru can’t help but feel sad since the two of them won’t be going home together. On their way to the train station, Paru broke the ice and asked Yuisuke a question.

“Yuisuke, why will you work anyway?”

“….” Yuisuke didn’t reply

“Yuisuke, please answer me…”

“….” Still no reply from Yuisuke

Paru was about to get pissed off to him, so she decided to black mail Yuisuke so that the lad could tell his reason to Paru.

“I will expose your porn magazine in the academy if you don’t tell me…” Paru smirked

“urk!” Yuisuke suddenly broke into cold sweat

“so?”

“okay fine! I’ll tell you the details!”

“good~” Paru smiled

Yuisuke then explained to Paru his reason. He told her that he will work for the sake of buying a new game console. Paru then asked Yuisuke on why didn’t he just ask money to his parents to buy the game console that he yearns for. Yuisuke then looked up to the sky and said.

“it’s fun to buy things if you worked hard just to buy it” Yuisuke smiled

“Paru, we should probably speed up now or else we will be late…”

“ahh yes~ I almost forgot”

With that said, the two of them sped up their walking pace and reached the train station in time. Whilst on the train, Yuisuke seen a familiar person.

“Rie?”

“Yuisuke-kun!” Rie smiled

“KitaRie…” Paru released dark auras

“what’re you doing here commuting on the way to school?”

“our car broke unfortunately”

“heh~ then why don’t we head to school together” Yuisuke smiled

Paru was really uncomfortable being with Rie. When Yuisuke and Paru arrived at the their classroom, Paru immediately told the others about this much to their reactions.

“how did your rivalry started anyway?” Acchan asked

While Paru was still wondering about her answer to the guy who confessed to her, Rie and her friends were gossiping about this.

“It seems Shimazaki had a boy confessed to her…” one of the girls said

With that said, Rie approached Yuisuke in his seat and sat on his lap

Whilst the two of them are talking, Paru spotted them and approached them.

With Yuisuke going to his part-time job, Paru was very lonely because she will not go home with Yuisuke anymore. With that, Acchan, Haruna and Miichan consoled her and decided accompany Paru to her house so that Paru will not get lonely on the first day. They eventually decided to have a pajama party while they are it. They went to a convenience store to buy some ingredients for tonight’s dinner. When they have reached Paru, they immediately prepared the ingredients. Acchan then asked a question.

“nee Paru? How did you and Yuisuke first met?”

“we first met on Yuisuke’s house. Like you all know, Yuisuke’s dad and my dad were best friends”

“If I remember it correctly, it was 11 years ago right?” Haruna said

“yea~ you told us about that~” Miichan agreed

“I want to know about it!” Acchan claimed

“then let me tell you the whole story”

“Haruka~ please get ready now~” Mr. Shimazaki said

“you and Papa’s best friend’s son are the same age Haruka, so I think you will enjoy there” Mrs. Shimazaki smiled to her daughter

With that said, Paru eventually prepared all of her things and got ready. When it was all set, they head towards the Yokoyama Household.

“hai~” a little boy opened the door

“Yuisuke-kun~” Mrs. Shimazaki hugged Yuisuke

“it’s been a while Obaasan~” Yuisuke smiled

While the Shimazaki Couple are enjoying having a peep talk with the Yokoyama Couple, Paru was on the living room silently sitting. All of a sudden, Yuisuke approached him.

“I’m Haruka, but my friends call me Paru”

“it seems Yuisuke is getting along with Haruka-chan” Mr. Yokoyama said

“they look so cute together” Mrs. Yokoyama said

“I hope Yuisuke and Haruka-chan can end up together” Mrs. Yokoyama smiled

With Mayu inviting Yuki over to their house for dinner, Yuki was pretty nervous because it’s been a while since she last visited the Watanabe Mansion. Yuki was still guilty about Mayu’s scar that he gained from protecting her. The lad eventually consoled Yuki and held her hand tightly. When they arrived in the Watanabe Mansion, Yuki was greeted by Mayu’s Mom and Dad in which they are happy to see Yuki again.

“Yuki-chan~ it’s been a while~” Mrs. Watanabe smiled

“Konnichiwa Obaasama, Ojiisama” Yuki bowed down

“you’ve grown up to be a fine lady Yuki-chan” Mr. Watanabe said

“no wonder, Mayu has his eyes for only you~” Mrs. Watanabe added

They immediately went to the dining area and chatted while eating

“so how is Yukiteru doing?” Mr. Watanabe said

“Papa is doing fine but lately, alongside with Mama, they are really busy and was on a business trip every month”

“it’s great to hear about that” Mrs. Watanabe smiled

“Mayu, have you considered in proposing marriage to Yuki-chan?” Mr. Watanabe asked

“wha!?” Mayu was shocked by his father’s sudden declaration

Chapter 30

Whilst Paru and the others are having some happy happy time in the Shimazaki Residence, Yuisuke was working hard as a waiter in the local family restaurant. Yuisuke only started an hour ago but a lot of customers had praised him for his excellent services. The customers gave Yuisuke money tips in which the other crews are envious with. The manager was so impressed by Yuisuke that he even gave Yuisuke some freebies before heading home. On his break, one of the crews asked something about Yuisuke.

“Yokoyama-kun, do you remember me?”

“hmm?”

“we met in a speed dating center remember?” the girl smiled

“ehh?” Yuisuke was puzzled

“Nagao Mariya~”

“Nagao…Mariya…?” Yuisuke was still puzzled

“yea~”

“ahh!!! The girl who agreed with my flaws!!! Mariya-chan!”

“hehe~ I’m glad that you remembered me now”

“I never thought that I could see you here~”

“I work here part-time just so I can pay my school expenses” Mariya explained

“so where are you studying?” Yuisuke asked

After a while of  talking with each other, it’s time for Yuisuke and Mariya’s break time ended and eventually went back to work. As Yuisuke  welcomes customers, he saw Yuu eating all alone inside the premises.

“yo!” Yuisuke greeted Yuu

“what’re you doing here eating by yourself?”

“well, Nyan has gone with the others on the way to Paru’s crib”

“good to hear about that..” Yuisuke smiled

“anyway Yuisuke, are you really serious about working?”

“yea…after all I need to buy that special gift”

“you really are something Yuisuke…”

“that’s the least I could do before I will state my true feelings”

“Yuisuke, you’ve been in love with her since our first year in middle school right?” Yuu asked

“yea..” Yuisuke blushed

“well it seems she’s head over heels for you up until now” Yuu smiled

“I know that…”

“you better confess to her or else…Yamazaki Kazuhiko might steal her from you” Yuu smirked

“they’re history now!” Yuisuke said in frustration

“haha~ well anyway~ get back to work~”

After that, Yuisuke worked again. Few moments later, Yuu said goodbye to Yuisuke since he has business to take care off. After Yuisuke’s shift ended, Mariya asked Yuisuke if they can go out together in which Yuisuke agreed.

“Yokoyama-kun~”

“let’s go now Mariya-chan”

The two of them headed towards the game center to unwind a little.

“wow~ Yokoyama-kun~ you really good at playing this game~”

“well it’s because I’ve been playing this game for years”

“is that so…” Mariya smiled

“yea~”

After they played in the game center, Yuisuke insisted on going to the jewelry shop to view some items. Mariya eventually agreed to come with Yuisuke.

“wow~ so many beautiful engagement rings” Mariya’s sparkled

“Yokoyama-kun?”

Mariya then noticed that Yuisuke’s eyes was affixed by a certain engagement ring

“you like that Yokoyama-kun? That’s pretty expensive”

“this is the reason why I started working in the restaurant”

“heh~ is that so”

“even though I could ask my parents to give me money to buy this ring, I insisted on myself to work hard to gain money”

“you planned on proposing whilst in high school?” Mariya was puzzled

“not really…I’m just buying this ring for the future…and besides.. I don’t date someone yet”
