Apparently J=J's CO has become more and more of a "bully" towards her junior team members. Perhaps she's reviving the reign of Commodore Kanazawa??!!

So basically in this latest WAJJ broadcast, Yume disclosed to Riai that their Captain was kicking the back of the chair that Kisaki was sitting on in the Ready Room all the time when they were in Fukuoka. The feisty junior Staff Sergeant eventually turned around and called her CO "a big baby".

The hushed tone of Captain Ruru Danbara, coupled with her gentle elbow strike to Akari's right rib, was enough to bring the Rear-Admiral out of her slumber. As someone who thrives on action, Akari had always hated these boring budget committee hearings. How she longed to switch places with Ruru here and now, and part of her kinda regretted graduating from the command of her former group:

I like it when the Captain asserts her authority over her subordinates, but I love it even more when she physically pushes the young ones into submission.

The Captain of Juice=Juice is winning the hearts and minds of her junior officers and members of the Fleet:

First Lieutenant Yuhane already threw her support behind the likeable J=J leader:

Fellow Osakan Ensign Okamura Minami also voted in her favour

And the beautiful LCDR Makino certainly sees her as her substitute "beloved mentor" since the departure of Takagi Sayuki.

The current Captain of JUICE clearly misses the good old days with her former Commanding Officer. Now, if only Commodore Kanazawa was there, we'd have a complete historical lineup of J=J leaders.

Everyone who have served with her knows how much she is liked and respected by all the officers in the Fleet. It comes to no surprise then that in the rare times when Rear-Admiral Uemura Akari is onboard the vessels of the BEYOOOOONDS strike group, members are lining up at the Blue Deck (reserved for visiting admirals) to take a picture with her.

Nobody in the Fleet can deny the respect and love the Juice team members have for their captains have always withstood the test of time. Uemura Akari is no exception. Like a force of nature, the future designated Rear Admiral for Special Warfare, who have decided to take a backseat from active duty, she was always pushing all the members from behind, but the amazing thing was that the members were never pressured to up their skill for the sake of not falling behind, very often collaborating with each other even when they are off the clock. From Warrant Officer Irie to Sergeant Endo, the dramatic improvements to their special forces abilities took place out of their internal desire to belong to this Special Forces team, and by extension, their unflinching loyalty to their Seniors and Commanders.

Still, we have many such evidence Akari always did this gently. She is an amazing motivator, besides being a naturally charismatic captain:

Ringo, stop crying. As the member who shared the same name as me, I expect you to live up to the reputation of the green member colour. You are my successor, Ringo.

Goods news. Akari Uemura has expressed a desire to remain in the armed services (entertainment industry) after formally handing over command of Juice to Captain Danbara Ruru. Though it is highly likely that she will formally accept the rank of Rear-Admiral (Confirmed Tenure) from Rear-Admiral (Provisional), it is unclear which billet she will be accepting should she still remain with the MSMW OG Corps.

In this Yomiuri Armed Forces news interview, Uemura admitted she has such strong feelings and attachment to the Hello Fleet and Juice=Juice. As such, she would be a highly probable contender for the billet of Commanding Admiral for Special Warfare, following 4-star Admiral Miyazaki's promotion as Commander of 5th Fleet.

Team Juice bid farewell to its 3rd Commanding Officer while the OG Admiralty welcomes another new illustrious member. There were reports that retired Commander Takagi Sayuki, retired Rear Admiral Kanazawa Tomoko, both her longtime orimen friends, and Yanagawa Nanami, were also among the crowd who attended the ceremony. There were suspicions UF probably digitally removed Tomoko from this group photo:

Akari Uemura perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Special Warfare in a way no other member has: She's extremely beautiful, has a great figure, is a good singer (she's gotten better), treats her fans well, is dedicated to the group, and is loved by all the members, has tolerance and leadership abilities. More importantly, her perseverance for so long, and drive to constantly improve her skills makes her possess a deadly combination enviable by any artist and over the past decade this very quality have earned her the admiration and love of ALL units of the Fleet, especially Attack Group C (when she served as provisional Commodore) and THREE OF US's Battle Group B (where she leads the Composite Group as its Rear-Admiral)

A Year Later, a heavy silence hung in the Operations Room.

RURU: Eba..talk to me...what's going on in there?

KISAKI: I think it's the end of the road for me. I think I'm gonna die here, skipper.

[At this moment, the door to the Special Warfare Ops Room opened, and in walks RADM Uemura Akari]

RURU: You have to hold on...the Team will be there soon.

KISAKI: I don't think I could make it. I think this is it, Captain.

AKARI: What's going on?

RURU: Eba's still trapped in the nuclear silo. The complex is gonna blow in 30 minutes. If she doesn't make it out in time...

AKARI [studies the terrain and battle surveillance, grabbing the mic]: EBA, you TRAINED for this. I know you can do this. You gotta push yourself harder. C'mon I have faith in you.

KISAKI [weeping]: Admiral? I'm sorry...I'm so sorry...I've let you down.

AKARI: What is this self pity?!! Now listen here, you brat!! You are a Special Warfare OFFICER. And a good one who never gave up, as I recalled. If you give up now, there will be no point in keeping the bibimbap on the Officer's Mess Menu anymore, wouldn't it?

KISAKI: [sobbing] But you can't do that!?

RURU: Well, Uemura-san IS the Division Admiral for Special Forces, Eba. She can pull off any item on the menu on ALL ships and bases serving Special Warfare units...

AKARI: C'mon Lieutenant! Remember the story I told you about that time I was trapped in the torpedo tube of the C-ute when we returned to the sub after completing our mission? I was petrified, you know? But I never lost hope.. because I knew my CO then, Yuka and my teammates is waiting on the other side and will always stay with me no matter what happens. This was how Juice was...and will ALWAYS be.

NAVAL STATION YOKOSUKA

At the tarmac of the Special Warfare HQ's airfield, Rear Admiral Akari Uemura rushed ahead to catch up with Team JUICE. Before she could reach them, she was unceremoniously stopped by the pilot of the departing C2 Greyhound plane which will be taking the team to their Operations Area:

2LT YOFU RUNO: Admiral? What are you doing here? Why are you dressed in combat gear, Ma'am?

AKARI: Get off me, Runo. I need to be in that plane. They need me since Risachi is down hospitalized.

CMDR MAKINO MARIA: Please, Admiral...we know how you feel...but you should know Juice been trained well by you and your peers....They've got this, Ma'am!!

[Akari watched in amazement as Maria's tears streamed down her cheeks. It was then that Akari realized her active combat days with her beloved team was truly over]

[CAPT DANBARA turned around after hearing her name being called by the Flag Officer]

[RURU nodded, then gave a crisp salute to her senior officer. It was only then that a voice was heard from behind Akari]

YUKA MIYAZAKI: Rear-Admiral Uemura!!!

[AKARI turned around and saw her former Commanding Officer, now her 4-star superior, shooting a frowned facial expression as MARIA and RUNO boarded the cockpit of the C2]

YUKA: I believe Lieutenant-Colonel Saito and Ocha Norma are waiting to debrief you at your conference room after returning from their completed mission.

AKARI [head bowed down]: Yes, Admiral. I will get to it right away [walks towards YUKA]

YUKA: Captain Danbara! Carry On!

[RURU gave her salute to the 4-star Fleet Commander before boarding the C2 jet. AKARI watched on with sadness as the aft ramp of the plane closed]

AKARI: I wish I was out there with them again, Yuka.

YUKA [patting AKARI's shoulder]: Now you know how I felt every time you guys departed with Tomoko at the helm.

AKARI: Its just that..its so hard to let go.

YUKA: You'll get used to it, Uemu. Our founding days are over, but our legacy is now being carried on by this talented new generation. Under Ruru's command, you can be sure they are in good hands:
