I don't think the diving itself it's the problem. FIFA's ancient rules are. They should allow a little more physical playing or they could have a special video judge who can check these in seconds.

It was 4 to be exact, but that's not important. The main issue about Portugal was that some players kept diving to try and get French players yellow (or even red) carded. It wasn't just as simple as getting a free kick or PK. That's playing fucking dirty since defenders won't be as aggressive if they already have a yellow card, and ones with a yellow already will miss the final match if they receive another one.

But anyways.... Portugal sucked against France. They had so many chances to score and win but they just couldn't finish. And C. Ronaldo's cockiness is making him look like an idiot...

He got booed because of the England match, it had nothing to do with France. The referee was fair and lenient with giving out cards. He should've given yellow cards to all the divers but he just let the match play on.

I sound like I hate him but I used to be a fan of C. Ronaldo when he first joined Man. Utd

. Not a fan anymore though since he's not much of a team player. The team plays worse with him on the field since he wants to be the hero and do everything.

C. Ronaldo sucks crap as a soccer player. Not because of his skill but his atitude towards a match! WTF is his problem? Just because he (or the team) losing 1-0 and they had to start diving?

I really wish C. Ronaldo is out of Man. Utd. I like Man. Utd alot, but not C. Ronaldo. In fact there are few other players who can take over C. Ronaldo's position in Man. Utd (ex. Park Ji Sung).

So Sir. Ferguson, do us a favour and kick C. Ronaldo out while keeping Rooney!

Oh... and they should get Éric Daniel Pierre Cantona to say "Joga Bonito" to C. Ronaldo. Or did C. Ronaldo watched the Nike commercial?

the dive by ronaldo just before the end of the half was hilarious. he was clear diving and the expression on his face when he was fallin was funny as hell.

The finals is tonight and I'm hoping Italy will win (minus the diving). France beat Italy to win Euro 2000 but the refs were horrible in that game. Hopefully we can finally watch a fair match with no diving and no bad referees :p

agreed it was a good 3rd place game....really dissappointed with all the portuguesse complaining though...they need to grow up! anyways im rooting for france all the way...zidane is a great!

I'm always the root for France since my 1st time watching World Cup.
I really want France to win, then Zidane getting the Golden Ball award!!!

ummm...... I don't really know, but if Henry can score 3 goals against Italy, then he will get the Golden Shoe award, which will be nice and will be the best World Cup year for France!

By the way, there's this "Most Entertaining Team award" presented by Yahoo! on fifaworldcup.com. The poll closes today (Sunday) and there are 6 team candidates: France, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, and Portugal.
