Yes I am. :D  That's the other big Shoko thread on the internet in English.  This is the original one though and has been the best for Shoko material as well as having some of the most dedicated supporters.

More news on Shoko, she directed her first film (a short) recently.

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2010-09-23/idol-shoko-nakagawa-directs-1st-film-short

That's what I like about Shoko, she is more than just a singer.

A video of the last song of the album was included on the CD+DVD release, it seems to feature the drama that was mentioned a few posts ago.

I like this song more now, as the arrangement and performance are so nice.  I still liked starry pink as the closing ballad on Big Bang more though.

You can watch the drama here

http://www.sonymusic.co.jp/drama/nakagawashoko/

It's 10 episodes but they're all very short
You can only see the last episode right now though unless you have a cellphone in Japan
I was very busy the last few weeks so I was only able to see the first 2 episodes and the very last one but it seems like it had some good production in it
I think there may be a DVD release sometime in the future because the whole thing is showing in Japanese cinema right now

I really liked Cosmic Inflation.
If only because most of the songs brought back a lot of good memories from the past since the first time I went to Japan.
Mainly namida no tane, egao no hana and arigatou no egao which are the best songs on the album in my opinion.
Also, finally got arigatou no egao on DVD too, still sucks though because it's not HD but the video for sen no kotoba to futari no himitsu was very nice.
The only disappointing thing was that it could have had more new songs but I still like the selection of songs (new and old).
Top favorite new song for me would be namidaboshi (good lyrics) and jewelery heart.
Not really fond of TYRANT too young though, probably my least favorite song on the album.
Besides that, I didn't preorder my copy of Cosmic Inflation so only my DVD version is first press
CD version is sold out of first press for some reason?? :(

To be honest, I didn't really like Prism Tour mostly because of all the anisongs.  I understand that Shokotan is an anisong singer but I preferred most of her original songs more (including the anime related ones).  Prism Tour kind of turned me off for the Makuhari Messe concert so I really wasn't planning for it....  though this album kind of changed my mind somewhat so I'm probably going to pull another crazy trip to Japan for another concert... maybe...

The concert was awesome!!
Shokotan sang only her original songs (no anisongs whatsoever) and half the setlist was different both days which made it worth going to both.
She sang a lot of songs you wouldn't expect too
Namely Winter Wish, 8-bit ver Kimi ni Meroron and Koi no Kioku
Of course she also sang all of the songs on her new album as well
The choreography was also really well done and cute this time
In my opinion, Makuhari messe is probably Shokotans best concert
Definitely can't wait for the DVD
There will probably be two separate releases because of the different set lists

The concert was only half the fun though
There was a festival outside the concert hall with many Shokotan related events
There was even an auction for authentic Shokotan goods including costumes that she actually wore during previous concerts (second Magical Tour costume and first Prism Tour costume were sold)
It'd be cool to actually own a costume but I wouldn't know what to do with it lol

Also, a 2011 concert tour was announced.  :w00t:

Wow! Glad you had an awesome time! :D
I can't wait to see the concert either. I hope they come out with a 2Disc box set rather than selling them seperately.  I also wonder if they might put both days on one blu-ray.

p.s. that's really cool about the auction. Did you bid on anything? I wonder how much the costumes went for?

There were a lot of cool items in the auction. Not surprisingly most of them ended up going for a lot be because of their uniqueness. I tried bidding on the bracelets used in the Shiny GATE CD cover but it ended up going for 40,000 yen :(
I think the costumes went for 350,000 yen for the Magical Tour costume and 450,000 yen for the Prism Tour costume.  The costume auctions were done silent auction I guess so it doesn't get too high. Some of the items prices went ridiculously high.

I hope the DVD/Bluray will include a the songs she sang on both days somehow...

The upcoming Disney CG-animated film, ”Tangled“, revolves around the story of Rapunzel. Japan will see a dubbed release on March 12th, 2011, and multi-talented Shoko Nakagawa has been chosen to lend her voice for ‘Princess Rapunzel’.

Shoko said, “I feel nervous and have a lot of pressure, since it’s a Disney animation. Yet when I read the script, I became excited for Rapunzel’s adventure. I will draw inspiration from it everyday, and try my best while working on it.”

Nakagawa Shoko had previous seiyuu experience through various Pokémon movies, and is widely known as the “Blog Queen” of Japan.

Additionally, “Tangled” will be the 50th animated feature in the ‘Walt Disney Animated Classics’ series.

Shokotan only sang original songs so no anisongs or Seiko songs whatsoever.
She did post up the full set list on her blog somewhere though if you want to see what the set list looked like.

The costumes were the exact same costumes that she wore during the actual concerts so I assume that she did sweat in them but they've probably been cleaned since then.
A lot of the other costumes were put up for display and you were actually able to dress up in them and take a picture for 500 yen (Shokotan narikiri)
It was pretty interesting seeing how simple some of the costumes were made when you see it up close

Nice to see her sing those, all good songs going back to the great Snow Tears single and Big☆Bang!!!.  'Dear my saint-girl' deserves to be performed too I think, but I'm not sure she ever has.

As you may know, Shokotan is one of the hosts of a weekly variety show called Sekai! Dangan Traveller. This show brings in female talents and lets them travel to various locations around the world. Shokotan usually watches VTRs filmed from these guest vacations but sometimes the show lets her travel too. I've collected and uploaded quite a few of her trips:

I think I'm only missing 2 of Shokotan's episodes: 20090404 and 20091003. If you have those, I would like to watch them.
