I was searching for videos of Shokotan's father and it surprised me how much he looked like her. Check out this video. I might even say that he's prettier than his daughter. He has straight teeth.

Dear my saint girl should have been included in my opinion. Also looking at various appearances in the past I thought Seaside Balcony was her favourite Seiko song. Sorairo Days is shown twice, maybe one could be the bossa nova version. Brilliant Dream is a good way to open as I think it's the song that best represents her in many ways.

I can't wait for the DVD to be out! *loves Shokotan*

Several weeks ago, I went to Kinokuniya and bought some books, including this book:

It is basically a compilation of some of her early blog entries. It also has some other handy features like a glossary (so that you can know what Shoko's referencing, and some definitions of some of the...unique words she uses), stickers, an interview with her and her favorite mangaka Umezu Kazuo, a questionnaire she filled out, and some pictures of her in various costumes.

It's probably not much, but it was Shokotan-related so I had to get it.

They also had her 2nd photobook Fushigi ni Muchuu, but my dad was with me and he would definitely give doinkies some...funny looks if I bought that (and I didn't have the money for it anyway).

There's also a sequel to this book with more recent blog entries (and I assume more extras).

Congrats doinkies! I have yet to buy both blog books

"Fushigi ni Muchuu" was too blatant gravure, so I don't think I'll ever buy it (while I still live with my family at least rofl)
"Shoko to Mikanne" & "Shoko Manyu" are worth every penny though :3

Yeah, I've seen scans of Fushigi ni Muchuu before...probably not the sort of thing doinkies wants my family to see me buy

I have not seen her more recent photobooks though. There aren't any scans of Shoko to Mikanne!

But from the preview pics, it certainly does look like a nice photobook.
