try cowboy bebop... its a little old but its still good... mix of blues hip hop in a futuristic setting... samurai champloo is the same thing only that its in a historical setting...
if you love heavy drama then kimi ga nozomu eien is for you haha! its soo sad that it makes you wna go to a corner and cry.. *sniff sniff*

Full Metal Alchemist (The metal collectors series <3)
Conquerer of Shamba (FMA as well)
Ghost in the shell (I got all the movies and all the series SAC and second gig)
FLCL (I found it in a bin!! hillarius)
Gungslinger Girl (Sexy Violence yum <3)
Chrono Crusade (Worth checking out)
Escaflowne (Kinda old but good, the movie not the series)
Kenshin (The OVA IS way better then Rourini Don't be fooled by bad series)
Noir (pretty good)
Gunsmith cats (was kinda hard to find)
Cowboy Bebop (Oh it was so good you have to admit)
Trigun (I love classics)
Beserk (another worth seeing)

Code Geass - better than gundam
Naruto Shippuuden - the naruto series is the best martial arts anime to date
Death Note - interesting story line and intelligent plot
Bleach - nice story, too many fillers and always looking forward to see a new Bangkai!

Nothing that I purchased on DVD. I haven't bought anything for a while. But I am watching what's on Cartoon Network's Toonami and Adult Swim blocks. I also watch some of the shows on the Toonami Jet Stream web site. Together, this includes shows like Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Blood+, Hikaru no Go, Prince of Tennis, and maybe a few more.
