Hmm im recently watching Durarara and Baka to test, since i think those 2 is the only worth watching anime this season. Does anyone have any suggestion abaout the other nime that has been airing this season

oo forgot to mention Gundam Unicorn < love this one

Hanamaru Kindergarten is pretty good. Katanagatari is promising, and of course there's also the new season of Nodame Cantabile. Also, the Legend of Koizumi is awesome.

@ Sakura-con I picked up Strike Witches and Gunslinger Girl Il Teatrino.
Since I havent finished the first GG series I'm hesitant to start this. As for SW: getting over all the fan service/perv stuff(and who doesn't love that?) it has a good story I liked a lot.

movies:
Summer Wars - One to put up there with the classics. In 3 words "Simple and Rich"

Evangelion You Can (Not) Advance - Well, they succeeded in making making it more easily digestible for non-fans. I remember getting pretty confused when watching the series, but don't have any such problems with these movies. The changes (like the fights, and adding Mari) were suprising and really enjoyable.

series:
Gundam Unicorn OVA ep1 - The MS designs, story and artwork are all great. But I don't know why the characters in this series just don't have that 'charismatic' touch, that past characters have. Like Amuro, Four or even the recent Setsuna. And I'm not just talking about the main characters, but even the side-cast feel bland. Maybe it's just to make a big contrast for later episodes, where everywhere goes crazy and Banagher starts breaking seeds and stuff.

One Piece - basically the only tv series I'm still following.

Catched up on Naruto, glad they are back onto the main story. (I don't read the comic, so I don't know how far thats gone)
On the other hand, it's starting to feel more and more Dragon Ball. Enemies coming back from the dead, hero turning into a super form with a time limit, collecting energy from nature. Just need Naruto to grow super long hair (like Jiraiya) and have lightning all over, actually that doesn't sound half bad!

Full Metal Panic. Didn't like the over-the-top storyline or the characters.

Giant Killing. Totally following it. But the episodes feel so short, like 5 minutes.

Finished off Cross Game (which I suspended half-way for so long). It was really enjoyable.

Checked out Angel Beats! that Takuya7 posted beforehand.

It had some really funny moments.

And it's take on the afterlife was also pretty interesting.

Shigurui : Death Frenzy - It's set in Feudal Japan and opens with a battle in a tournament between two samurai. One is a one-armed swordsman, the other a blind cripple. The rest of the series details that these two have a history with each other, disciples of a legendary samurai, fighting for the right to be named successor. Over the years they grow to despise each other causing injury to each other, but never stop fighting to achieve their goal. Good so far, very graphic. It's not for the faint of heart.
