Chapter 3: The Meeting

She kissed me at the cheek.
“Love you sis, I hope you go to school. Bye-bye!” She said while leaving.Ugh, that Miyuki… Why is she not ashamed to do that in front of her boyfriend? She’s always so energetic and courageous. I envy that. About a year after the abuse ended, she decided to go to school… While I didn’t. I wasn’t ready to face the social. Yet, why is she so brave?
“Huh… Is she really my sister” I sighed.
I have been going to school since last year. Of course I had to redo a year, but that made me the same year as Miyuki. She’s a smart girl, so she skipped a year. I could do that as well, but my absent didn’t allow me. And I think it would be better if I was in the same year as Miyuki. Well, at least my brain allowed me to have scholarship for high school. It’s already the 2nd month of our high school. Maybe I should go to school. I packed my things, tied my hair and not forgetting to wear my cat hoodies.
After checking my books I locked the door and walked to my class. I opened my hand phone.

Mayu-chan~! ^_^)/ Have you ate your breakfast? Are you going to school? Don’t force yourself.
I quickly made a reply to her message.

I have, thank you for always worrying about me

Yes, my hoodies… I don’t really like the sun, it’s shining so brightly. Thanks god this hoodie would always protect me. It was a gift that Maeda-san gave to me… Well, not from Maeda-san, but from Yukirin-san. Maeda-san said that Yukirin-san gave it to me. Hmm… I wonder how Yukirin-san looks like…
Suddenly the wind breezed gently. But it slapped me with a piece of unknown paper.
“Ugh… what is this…?” It seems like there was more than 1 paper that was blown by the wind. The paper seemed like a mathematic homework. It has nice handwriting on it.
“Somebody! Please catch the papers!” A familiar voice shouted.
“Why should I?” I shouted back.
“Eh-Eh?? Onee-chan?” The voice change, it was Miyuki. She was at the second floor. It seems like the papers got blown out of the window…
“Eh? Miyuki?” That means these paper are hers… I hurriedly chase the blown papers. As if the wind was playing with me. It made the paper dance elegantly.
“Got it! One more left!” I said to myself. The last one was stuck on a branch of a tree.
“Ugh, such a pain…” But still, I would do anything for my sister. I tried to throw it with rocks but… My aiming is so bad. But it was better than climbing it, so I kept on throwing rocks to the tree. Suddenly,
“Ouch!”
I think it hit somebody… Wait, why is there someone on top on a tree??
“U-Uwaa!”
Brak!“Ouch…”
A girl… a senpai fell down the tree. “Ouch, why did you hit me?” she asked with teary eyes.
“I-I’m sorry senpai… I didn’t know you were there, I was trying to get a paper that was stuck over there and-“
“Eh? Paper? Where is it, let me get it for you” She suddenly climbed up the trees again and then jumped down.
“Is this it?” She handed me the paper.
“Y-Yeah… I think it is” I took a glance at her. She was a beauty. Black eyes, wavy hair tied a bit to the left. Beautiful lips…
“Eh? I think I’ve seen you before… Ah! Is your name Watanabe Miyuki?” She asked me while moving forward, pointing to the sheet of paper with Miyuki’s name on it.
“N-No… This is my little sister assignment that got blown by the wind…” I answered while taking a step back.
“Then, are you perhaps… Watanabe Mayu?” She asked me with shining eyes.
“Eh? How do you know my name?” Now this is suspicious. Who is she?
“You’ve grown up so much!” She suddenly gave me a big hug, making me falling down. W-wait?? Who is she???
“We could finally meet! It’s me! Yuki! Kashiwagi Yuki!” She kept on hugging me with a huge smile on her face.
I don’t remember that name at all. But somehow it seemed familiar…
“Kashiwagi Yuki… Yuki… Yuki...rin-san?” No way, this beauty is Yukirin-san? The person who saved my life? The one who sends me messages each day?
“Un! It’s me ~!” She giggled. “I didn’t think we could meet 5 minutes after sending those messages” She hugged me tighter. Her fragrance… She smells so fluffy.
This meeting… I’ve been waiting for 5 years, and she just came from a tree… A weird person who saved Miyuki’s and my life. Then went aboard. The one who sends me message and cares for me. My savior, Is such a beauty.
I… I think… There’s something wrong with my heart. Why is it beating so fast?

“Eh? Did they finally meet each other? Uwa, look at them! They look so lovey-dovey!!” Yuko said.

“Yukirin-san… I’ve been waiting for this day!” I said with a huge smile on my face.
“Un! Me too!” Without a reason, we suddenly laugh together.
