Ting Tong!“Yuu-kun?” I opened the door.
There, Yuuta was standing… behind my sister.
“And Yuko…”
“Uwa what’s with the different tone there?? I’m your sister you know!” Yuko puffed her cheeks. She randomly tossed her shoe and went in, headed towards the kitchen.
“Aah! Why do you always leave your shoe lying down untidy like that?!” I took her shoe and arranged them properly.
“Jeez, Yuko … always making me do the jobs…” I grumbled.
Suddenly, I heard a small chuckle. As usual, Yuu-kun was laughing at me.
“Stop laughing!”
“Sure~ Anyway, excuse me~” He took his shoe off and place them neatly. “You shouldn’t fight with your sister that much, Mayu” he added.
“Eeh?! You saw it yourself didn’t you? It was totally her fault?!” I was surprised by his sudden lecture.
Yuu-kun only answered with a small smile.
“Here’s the snack’s” He handed me a bag filled with snacks, sweet and many other food to enjoy while watching an anime.
“Arigatou~ wait at the living room, ok? I’ll prepare the drink and snack’s you bought” I walked towards the kitchen.
“Oh, Yuu-kun, let’s continue watching Macross Frontier”
“Sure~” Already familiar with my house, he walked to the living room by himself.
“Ah, Mayu~” Yuko was playing with her cell in front of the fridge. “Hey look at this girl, isn’t she kawaii?” Yuko showed me a photo of a girl reading a book at the school’s garden.
“… Yuko, were you secretly taking photo’s again?” I looked at my sister with an unamused expression.
“It’s her fault for being attractive!”
“What about KojiHaru-senpai?”
“Aah, of course NyanNyan is the best for me!” Yuko suddenly hugged herself. “NyanNyan has a great big oppai’s. Aah, NyanNyaaan~~” She suddenly went crazy and kept on smooching the air.
“Urgh, whatever” Ignoring her, I put the snack into some containers and prepared a glass for two.
“But Mayu I have a different reason for showing you that photo!” Yuko suddenly grabbed my shoulder and showed me the photo again. “Honestly, do you possibly know this girl?” she said in a serious tone.
“Eeh… no?” I took another quick glance at the picture, I think I’ve seen her before, but I don’t know her. Well, she is wearing the same uniform as mine, so it’s normal if I’ve seen here once or twice, right?
A small, sad smile suddenly appeared on Yuko’s face. But it was quickly whipped whit her usual grin.
“This girl, she’s a friend of NyanNyan and she kind of asked me for some advice, which I promised to help~” Yuko scratched her hair.
“G-gomen ne, Mayu. This girl actually likes Yuuta. You’re not interested in him right? Can you please help her?” Yuko clapped her hands together and did a slight bow.
“Wha?? Why should I? It’s such a pain!!” I immediately rejected her S.O.S call.
“Come on! I’ve promised her and she had been such a big help for me to catch NyanNyan!! I need to return that favor!”
“Then it’s your problem right? I don’t want to suddenly ask Yuuta some weird questions!”
“Oh Mayu, please!” she kept on begging.
“I don’t even know her, how could I help her?!”
“You-!! Akh! Just give me some info about Yuuta, and I’ll tell it to her”
“No way!”
Seeing that there were no other choices, Yuko suddenly grinned bitterly and pointed at the fridge.
“Your favorite short cake!!” She yelled out loud enough to make a stray cat who was sleeping at the window wake up.
“Tsk, so loud” I clicked my tongue. “… Short cake” I mumbled as I stared at the fridge.
It’s true that I have a favorite short cake that I like, but it’s not like I want it that much…
I walked to the fridge and opened it to find a triangle cut of cake placed neatly on top of a plate. A beautiful hot and sexy strawberry was standing gracefully on top the whipped cream on the strawberry cake… Hmm, tempting…
Taking another small glance at the photo, I thought for a better price and finally got an answer.
“A cut of cake for each 5 information's” I grinned as I saw Yuko’s jaw opening.
“Monster!!” She yelled at me angrily and started to give me light punches.
“Hey, since I’m the closest person to Yuuta, that’s not a bad deal you know!” I reasoned myself.
“…Tsk! Fine!” Yuko took her phone and started to operate it. Suddenly, there was a small ‘beep’ sound.
Yuko flipped her phone and aim the camera towards herself.
“Ehem! This video is a proof that my own sister, Mayu, has agreed for a deal to help me fulfill a promise to my friend!” She turned the phone back again and started to film me. “Is it a deal, Mayu?” She asked.
“A cake for each 5 information is the deal” I answered simply with a poker face in front of the camera.
“Deal!” Yuko stretched her arm and made me shake hands with her.

After an episode of the Anime has ended, I decided to ask Yuu-kun.
“Ne, Yuu-kun”
“Yes?”
“Do you possibly know about a girl with the characteristic of … Eeh … Black wavy hair until her shoulders? And her eyes is a little bit… I don’t know, weird?” I stated everything I remembered about the photo.
“Are you stupid? There’s many girls like that. Even you’re like that!” Yuu-kun pressed a finger on my forehead.
“Wha- Hey my hair isn’t wavy!”
“Then what’s this??” Yuu-kun took some flocks of hair on my shoulder and showed it to me. “Is this, not wavy?”
“That’s curly!”
“Ugh, what’s the different??”
“You idiot…”
Being used to insult each other, Yuu-kun just puffed his cheeks.
“Uuh… wait let me remember something else… uhmn… ehhh…. she’s attractive?” Man that was the only thing I remembered again.
“Crap, Mayu. That’s not a help at all”
“Uuh, shut up and tell me who comes in your mind!”
“Hmn… attractive huh…” Yuu-kun placed his right hand on his chin, thinking serious to search for a girl like that.
“Then maybe…” Suddenly, his face turned bright red. “N-no, Never mind!” He quickly looked away.
“Ew! That was so not like you!” I slapped his back.
“Tsk, Fine!” He looked back at me and started to think again.
“Beautiful… that means school’s idol. But we have many princess there… but with that characteristic… I really think it’s… but you said…then there’s only her… so it must be…” Yuu-kun mumbled some things that I wasn’t able to catch on.
After waiting for a while, he finally said a name:
“Kashiwagi Yuki?”
Yuu-kun opened his smartphone. He went to the gallery file and showed me a photo of a girl. It was the same girl as the one Yuko showed me!
“Ah, that’s her!”
I studied the girl in the photo. Well, she sure is beautiful…
… Kashiwagi Yuki, huh. Hmn… For a beauty like her to have feelings for the weird and annoying Yuu-kun… interesting enough.
…
Wait.
“Yuu-kun, why do you have a photo of her?” I glared at him. “Don’t tell me your taking photo’s secretly?”
“N-no! My friend Bluetooth it to me!” He looked away, trying to avoid my glare.
“Humph! I just hope you don’t do anything weird with it!” I puffed my cheek and slapped his shoulder.
“Sheez Mayu, I won’t!” He tried to stop my hands, but I persist and kept on slapping him, which trigged to make him trying to slap my shoulders as well.
Our watching an anime moment became a fighting moment. We decided to stop after being tired from all the childish fight we did. I took a glass and drank all of it in one gulp.
“Do you have any business with Kashiwagi-senpai?” Yuuta suddenly asked.
“None of your business!” I looked away from him.
“A little bit of a coincidence, for you to ask about your fan”
“F-fan?” I imagined an electric fan swirling it’s blade to make a breeze-full air.
“I know that you’re thinking of something else, idiot” after sighing, he crossed his arm and explained. “Fan as in a human one! The one that would go, ‘kyaa I want your autograph’!”
“…EH?”

Kashiwagi Yuki-senpai?
“Wait, why would I have a fan??” I closed my eyes, imagining myself having a fan club where people would secretly take photos of me and scream about it...
“There’s no way someone like me has a fan!” I shook my head to lose the stupid imagination I had.
“You’re really dense, huh” a big sigh escaped from Yuu-kun again. “Don’t you know that there’s many fan club on our school? I also have a fan club, Mayu. Even
WE have a fan club!”
“W-we??”
“Yes. Me and You. Heck, some ship us together!”
“What?? Ridiculous! We’re just friends!”
“Seems like our condition is Anime-like…” he crossed his arms and sighed again.
Remembering all the sighs he made, I decide to tell him a fact I had read at the internet. “…They say a piece of happiness will go away within each sighs you make”
“Even though I save them, you’ll take all my happiness away, Mayu” he asked for a punch.
******************Next Day*****************
The cafeteria was full of students, but that doesn’t mean I have to struggle my way and order tickets for food.
“Mayu!” Yuu-kun waved his arms. “Here’s your ticket. A pasta for today” he handed me a small ticket.
“Un! Thank you~!” I gladly accept the ticket and changed the money.
Ah, Yuu-kun is just like a servant to me…
“Did you find any empty seats?” Yuu-kun asked while waiting for the cafeteria lady to give us our lunch.
“Yep, though it’s with the popular Matsui Jurina from the neighbor class”
“Uwa… that’ll be crowded. Why the heck did you get a seat with her?” Yuu-kun’s expression was like: ‘such-a-pain-in-the-ass’
“No empty seats, and Jurina suddenly offered me one, so I asked for two” I answered after thanking the cafeteria lady.
“How the heck is someone as cold as you friends with her? Tsk, I just hope you don’t get played with”
“She’s my friend, Yuu-kun. She knows that messing with me would end deadly… And we’re both girls. Oh and hey, I’m NOT into love!”
“…You’ll regret saying that when you fall in love, you know?” Yuu-kun gave me a smirk.
“That’s why I won’t! At least… until I’m a college student?”
“Sure, a double cheese burger with extra beef for a whole month if you lose, ok?”
“Tsk, suddenly making a bet like that…”
“Of course I would~” He answered with a grin and walked happily towards one of the most crowded table.
“Ah, Mayu-chan you’re here!” Jurina made a cat-like smile. “Excuse me ladies, but I’ve promised to accompany these two for lunch” Jurina smiled to the girls surrounding her.
Like a person in love being told by their crush, they waved goodbye and walked away.
…Wait, they are a person in love. And Jurina is their crush.
Anyway, I took a seat and started to eat my lunch.
As I said before, Jurina is my friend, so we chatted like normal. Just the three of us, when suddenly…
“Mayu-san” Matsui Rena, an upperclassman I know appeared and called me. “Sorry, but is there a two other seats?” I saw her tray of food still un-touched.
I looked at Jurina and Yuu-kun.
Yuu-kun checked underneath the table and gave me a thumbs up, while Jurina was… staring at Rena?
“Oi, Jurina??” I waved my hand in front of her face.
“E-eh? Aah, of course there is!” Jurina stood up and took 2 seats from underneath the table.
She quickly arranged them, making two chairs in front of Jurina and me, while Yuu-kun took his chair and moved on my left.
“Arigatou~” Rena smiled and took a sit.
“Ne, Mayu, do you know this senpai??” Jurina whispered at me while secretly pointing at Rena sat in front of her.
“Huh? I don’t really know about her, but she’s my sister’s friend, Matsui Rena” I took spoonful of pasta after answering.
This time, Yuu-kun whispered at me. “Oi, look at that”
I lift my head to find out that Kashiwagi Yuki was the one sitting in front of me!!
Swallowing my food with a bowl of surprise, a pinch of guilty feeling, and a spoon of unknown feeling. The receipt to make me choke on my own food was a great success. (Read: I chocked)
“?!” I could feel something uneasy on my throat, making me unable to breathe properly.
“Whoa, careful!” Yuu-kun slapped my back.
“You’re not a help you idiot!!” On my right, Jurina slapped Yuu-kun’s hand and gently caressed my back.
“H-here, take a drink” Kashiwagi Yuki suddenly offered me her drink.
Since everyone’s drink were soda, milk and such others, I couldn’t see other option because Kashiwagi Yuki’s drink was a pure, glass of water.
I took the glass and gulped the water down until the pain in my throat was gone. After a while, my breath was steady again.
Damn, that was embarrassing.
“T-thank you” I lift my head and made an awkward smile towards the senior in front of me.
Like how anybody else would, she answered with “You’re welcome” completed with a smile.
But… that’s when I realized that my heart, was beating faster than normal.
That smile of hers…
It’s really princess-like.
…She really is beautiful.
