Is it just me or did it seem like Takun didn't want to see her again? He wasn't enthused at all. Like he was old enough to realize that he was being exploited for tv or something...

I think it's because he's older now, he feels more shy to talk to Maki.  He said he was happy to meet her again and he wanted her to hear him sing.  They are penpals as well.

I'm think he was happy to see her, but I think it's just not his personality to get super excited about that kind of stuff. He's had to fight through life and so he has a different perspective on what is really important in the long run. Even in the old shows when he was younger he was the same way.

She kinda showed him up with the singing but it's nice to see he's doing well. I remember seeing that old clip when I first got into H!P.
