By the way, here's the second chapter
Chapter II
Monday morning never as bright as today, Jurina wake up and stretch happily. Taking shower, and getting into her work attire. A jeans, semi-formal blue shirt, and vest. She tied her hair into ponytail, and rechecked her look for few times in the mirror.
“Darn Jurina ! you’re really cool today, Rena will totally fall for you !” she said to herself while motioning a ‘bang’ pose
“Pfft ! Dream on~ she has a boyfriend, she’ll just be your older sister forever, Forever.” Another Jurina in the mirror said sarcastically.
She shrug off two Jurinas in the mirror, packed things and go to the office.
Jurina is a creative director assistant at an advertising company so no need to wear any formal attire like an office lady since most of people in the office are wearing jeans and tshirts.
Arrived at the office, Jurina already find her Boss playing with plane miniature inside her cubicle.
“What are you doing here, Boss?” Jurina said with deadpan voice
“Is that the way you greet your Boss in the morning? Where’s the storyboard I want you to draw for today’s meeting? You said you’ll sent to me before weekend?” The Boss crossed her arms on her chest
“Okay, im sorry. Good morning,Boss ! and please stop being shitty Boss, Mayu. Thanks to you I spent my beautiful Saturday morning with bad hangover because your post-heartbreak drinking party or whatever”
“Really? That bad? Sorry, I cant found any silly companion except you. Hahaha” Mayu laughed
“Im sure you didn’t remember you blabbering about alien resurrection, big-worm Alaska invasion, and flying alpacas is waiting you outside the bar. You really talked nonsense when you’re drunk, huh? I thought you’re cured from your eight-grader syndrome. The worst part is I had to piggy-back you home and as a thank you….you puked on my favorite jacket” Jurina said and rolled her eyes at Mayu
“Aww..you were piggy-backing me home? My baby J is so sweet~” She stood from the chair then pinched Jurina’s cheek forcefully
“Just don’t tell anyone how worst my state when im drunk last time, it’s really awful. That big nose bitch will pay it later for cheating behind me” Mayu said fiercely, still pinching Jurina’s cheek
“Stop it Mayu ! it hurts ! you’re lucky im in a good mood today, just don’t ruin it. And here’s the drawing. I will send you the file via email, if you need something to revise just let me know. For now, please go back to your office, I cant use my pc if you sit on my desk like that” Jurina handed the drawing pack tube to Mayu and shoo-ing her.
“You’re such a great assistant, J ! You’re in a good mood? Is something happen? Are you and Annin finally go out and spent the night together?” Mayu teased, wriggling her eyebrows playfully
“Can you watch your mouth when talking about Annin ?! Im not into office affairs, Mayu ! Im just fooling around, it was just my silly crush back in college, geez !” Jurina whispered between her gritted teeth, while looking around hope someone didn’t eavesdropping their conversation.
“Tsk, Jyuri…baby…all you gotta do is just ask her out ! im sure she’ll definitely say yes, that hottie is undoubtedly had a crush on you too”
“No is a no, Mayu. How many times do I have to tell you that I already have someone I like”
“Ah ! She’s here ! Good morning, Anna-san” Mayu wave her hand cheerfully to Iriyama Anna or people usually called Annin. A senpai from Jurina’s college, one of Excecutive Manager in their company, a company darling because of her brilliant intelligence and goddess-like beauty.
“Good morning Mayu, Jurina. Looks like you two have a good vibe this morning, had a nice weekend?” Annin stopped at Jurina’s cubicle.
“Yeah, and actually Jurina have something to tell you” Mayu said bluntly
Jurina shot a ‘what-are-you-fckin-doing-watanabe!’ glare to Mayu and stomped her foot on Mayu’s. Mayu winced in pain.
“Uh..ano..Annin, um…you know about the energy crisis issue, right? It’s getting worse nowadays…and um.. why don’t we make a ‘Reduce Your Energy Consumption at Work’ movement among us, the employee. You know, like turn off the light after use the toilet..or else? Hehe” Jurina broke into sweat, rubbing the back of her neck awkwardly, squezzing her brain finding a topic and came out with a silly idea. Mayu stifled her laughter beside her.
“Huh? Sure, it’s a good idea. I’ll write it down on my agenda and discuss with other in the next meeting with management. By the way, I have to excuse myself to my office now. Have a good day, you two” Annin smiled and continue walk to her office.
“energy crisis, huh? Can you find another silly topics than that?” Mayu laughed
“Shut. Up. Watanabe. Go back to your office now before I choke you to death” Jurina Snap
“Okay, okay. Seriously Jurina, your panic face is so amusing. By the way, get your ass ready for the next presentation. It’s a big project, the clients will be here in an hour” Mayu stiffled her laugh then slap Jurina’s butt on her way back to her office.

Watanabe Mayu is a senpai from college that happened to be my boss here. We’re very close because we’re in the same club in the college, and she also help me with my final project back then. She’s the one who help me when i moved to Tokyo a year ago. Though she’s two years older than me people often mistook that i am the older because she has that cute-highschool-girls-like face, but believe me there is an old man inside her soul. She is a butt-obsessed pervert, a delusional otaku ( she still have an eight-grader syndrome sometimes ), and big fan of the strange-flavored candy named Pelollipop ( that candy has strange flavors e.g : Curry, miso, dried fish, etc ). But behind her minus behavior she’s a caring person, great partner at work, and senpai that I respect.
Iriyama Anna or I called her Annin is also a senpai from college, she’s my boss’s boss. If I could describe her in simple sentence, it would be :
Goddess in Human Form. She’s an honor student during her college life and graduated with magna cumlaude. Her beauty? She’s beautiful inside and outside, I mean she’s kind and friendly to everyone. No wonder if I ever had a crush on her when I was in college…come on who’s not? And until now Mayu still tease me about that. It’s just my admiration towards a cool senpai like Annin, there’s no way I would date someone like her, she’s out of my league.
It’s still fifteen minutes before the meeting begin, i recheck the documents and few things for the meeting. We have an important client here, a Japanese Curry Restaurant chain. If this project is deal, we will handle the campaign of their new franchise across the country. The meeting goes smoothly, i presented my concept confidently and guess what? They like my idea with using a popular idol group as an ambassador for the campaign. Smile never left my face this entire afternoon, as the meeting ended people congratulate me one by one.
“Uwaaa project leader ! congratulations, Kid ! here give me a hug” Mayu run towards me and give me a bear hug
“Thanks, Mayu. Finally i get my first project after a year. And they also choose me as the project leader too ! oh my god im so happy, i feel like crying now !” Im so happy, i couldn’t hold my tears.
“Dont get so full of yourself, you still have a long way to go. We still have a long way to go. And I don’t think it will be easy in the future. If you need any help, you know where to find me” Mayu said while patting my back.
“I have a great senpai here, she will help me through any problems” I smile sweetly, though she’s annoying sometimes…she’s a senpai I respect the most.
“Aww..such a smooth talker kid ! by the way I have to fix few arrangements on my office, could you fetch me something for lunch?”
“The same as usual? Okay, I’ll buy you some on my way back. Im heading now, see you Boss” And I excuse myself for lunch.
I go to the cafeteria with few comrades while randomly chat about anything. In cafeteria, people from my division still congratulate me for my first project, and it’s a big project. I feel very shiny right now. Then something buzzing inside my jeans pocket, it’s a mail from Rena.
From : RTo : JSubject : Arrange your planHey Jurina ! I had arrived at Japan right now, 8 hours of flight is no joke..my body is all sore right now.
But it feels good being back to Japan ! ^o^
Im on the train to Nagoya right now,im gonna visit my parents and stay overnight.
Tomorrow I have a few meetings here,then heading to Osaka for cultural events.
I’ll be back to Tokyo on Friday for an event at Tokyo National Museum.
Can we meet at Ueno Park afterwards? Saturday around 10 a.m

“Hello,it’s Matsui Rena speaking”
“Hey moyashi princess ! how’s your day?”
“Really, I feel like an old hag right now with all this muscles sore I realized im not that young anymore” Rena sighed, but happiness cant be hidden from her voice
“You’re obviously an old hag, Rena-chan ! by the way, did you already meet your parents?”
“Hey, im just 26 ! yeah, we just had a lunch outside. It’s feels really nice walking around your hometown after few years. How’s the presentation? any good news? ”
“Well..if you want a good news it can’t be helped..i’ll give you one. We got that project, and guess what…Matsui Jurina is the project leader” I puffed my chest and said proudly though im talking thru the phone.
“Project Leader?! Congratulations Jurina ! I know you can make it ! My precious little sister is always the best” Rena beamed
“Thank you…hey, my friend is waiting me for the lunch. I’ll call you again later,okay? Have good day in Nagoya, and see you...very soon” I hang up our conversation and smile bitterly.
