You guys have been awesome by reading the fic and enjoying it and supporting it and I haven't been thanking you guys whether you comment or not I know you guys enjoy it so Thanks! YEE, I've been happy lately so it's been good.

The next couple of days Haruka was trapped in the apartment unable to go anywhere she pleased. At one point she tried to sneak out, but her father was coming home and she ran back in the apartment. She was sick of being locked up like a bird in its cage, all because of the scandal. Sadly, with not much knowledge of the outside world, she had no idea what was occurring that morning.

"You're up? This early?" Her father asked once he came out his bedroom to find Haruka cooking breakfast.

Haruka looked at him with a grimaced face, "Not like I do anything..." The man didn't care for the face she made, he continued to throw on his suit jacket and fix it to his comfort. He went on to sit at the dining table waiting for his breakfast. Haruka saw him do this and she decided to serve herself, taking her plate and sitting across from him. She caught his face furrow.

"Really?" He asked.

Haruka smirked, taking her sticks and picking up her food and eating it up. Her father shook his head, ready to get off his chair when the two heard his cell phone ring. He took it out from his pants pocket, tapping the answer button. "Hello." He answered, his voice becoming deeper than when he would speak with his daughter.

Haruka watched him as she continued to eat. She could see his face changing. He was upset and she clearly knew it. She waited for him to finish his conversation to ask what was wrong. Soon as he did he glared at her. "What?" Haruka asked, sitting up in her seat.

He shook his head dissPointed. "Why do I have to keep cleaning up your mess?"

Haruka raised a brow then quickly changed to a furrow, "what are you talking about?"

The man only stood up, tucking his phone in his pocket. "Stay here-"

"You know I'm really sick of being trapped in here!" Haruka argued. "I can just go back to work, ignore everyone and go on."

The man cracked his neck, holding back from yelling at his daughter. "There's a new scandal," he said, controlling his voice and tone. "It's about you again and I want you to stay here, don't go out, or pick up the phone. I'm going to fix this."

"Don't even." Haruka muttered. "Isn't this the life I'll be living if I take over the company? Isn't this what you prepared me for?"

He scoffed. "Look how well I prepared you."

Haruka felt her anger rising, she stood from the table. "Look how well it prepared you when my mother left!"
He was taken back by her words. "I remember seeing the article, I remember how well you took it. Crying at nights and getting so angry you smashed the house. We aren't any different from each other... Yet, you got to go out and around like nothing happened."

The man again, controlled his temper, taking a deep breath in and slowly exhaling. "Stay here!" His voice tried to stay calm but she heard it become shaky out of anger. He turned to leave, Haruka watching him go, and just as he got to the door Haruka got the last saying.

"You can't keep me locked away forever."

Even with Mr. Shimazaki back, Sayaka was still in 'in charge' mode. She was making sure everyone was finished with their work since they only had a few days to leave to Paris, and that thought only excited her. It wasn't because of finally seeing a beautiful city, but visiting the city of love to meet with the person she believes she can possibly fall in love the moment she sees her. However... She was worried, what if it didn't turn out to be the way she believes it's suppose to happen, what if this love was a facade. She shook her thoughts away not wanting to think that, not now when she is so close to meeting her again. Sayaka was lost in her thoughts when she heard Rie call out to her catching her by surprise.

"Yes?" Sayaka responded, turning, irritated she jumped a little by her.

"Have you spoken to Yui? You haven't told me anything. Did you visit her?" Rie questioned, she has been worrying the last few days and Sayaka never told her anything.

Sayaka, put her hands up telling her to relax. "Breath. I didn't get much of a chance to talk to her. But!" She raised a finger, "I have an old friend coming to talk to her. She'll be here by tomorrow." Sayaka turned on her seat overlooking the staff in the studio.

Rie gave the girls back a look, confused as to what this friend will do. "What, what friend?" She took the seat beside Sayaka.

Sayaka turned to her again. "She's a friend of mine and Yui's. Yui would want to talk to her."

"Are you sure?" Rie asked, "she will speak to her?"

Sayaka gave a nod.

Just then Sayaka was called again, disrupting the two. "Sayaka," the young man walked up to her with a young woman beside him. "Mr. Shimazaki wants to see you." He said, handing a newspaper to her. "It's not good."  With that he left and Sayaka only rolled her eyes, she didn't want to run another errand. She just grabbed the newspaper in her hand and got up, "I'll see you later." She told Rie with not much enthusiasm.
Rie watched her go, wondering if she had seen what the front page of the paper because she caught a glimpse of it. It only worried her more for Yui.

Going up the elevator, Sayaka still had the paper in hand not even looking at it, she was just hoping she wouldn't be told to do something that didn't have to do with her work. Although, she did want to go back to the man's apartment, she was really curious to know who was there. Maybe another model girlfriend, she thought with a smile on her face when she pictured some beautiful model. She did want to ask the man who was staying in his apartment, but didn't dare ask when she met with a furious man because of some wrong order done by some newbie. While she waited for the elevator to arrive to the floor where her and her boss offices were at, she finally took a look at the paper in hand.

Sayaka practically ran to her boss office when the elevators opened, barging through the door and finding him on the phone. She could tell he was upset going off on someone in the other line. Sayaka wanted to ask him if this new scandal was true and how Haruka is but the man was still on the phone and she only held the paper up giving him looks for answers. The man held a finger up asking her to give him a moment.

After awhile he hung up taking a deep breath and slowly exhaling. "Can you believe this!" He took the paper slamming it on the table.

"Is it true?" Sayaka asked. She was upset as well, the only difference was she hates the media while Haruka's father was upset at his own daughter. "Is she going out with this girl?" She nodded towards the picture on the front page.

"I don't think so." He rubbed his temples. "How stupid can she be..." He muttered.

Sayaka furrowed, why was Haruka to blame? "Maybe, she has an explanation. Have you spoken with her?"

He looked at her, "I have. But she hasn't seen this."

Sayaka sighed. "Talk to her then."

The man took his seat, picking up the paper and looking over it.

After a moment of watching the man lose himself in thought, staring at the article, Sayaka finally asked him why he summoned her. "Did you want to speak to me about this?"

Broken his trance, he replied. "Yeah. Haruka is back, I want you to keep an eye on her."

Sayakas eyes went wide, now she knew who was at the apartment. How stupid could she be to not realize this. "She is back? Why do you want me to keep an eye on her? I'm going to Paris in a couple of days." She reminded the man.

He sighed. "You may have to stay for the week prior to fashion week. You are the only one I trust right now. I still haven't found who this person leaking all this is. I've gone through everyone she has met with and still I found no one." He told her all this, almost like he confided in Sayaka. "Make sure she doesn't run off and do something stupid again. I'll take you the apartment key later."

Sayakas mouth hung open. She wanted to make sure Haruka would be safe from anymore scandals, but she's been looking forward to Paris with Miyuki.

"Everything I've told you in this room, stays here between the two of us, understand?" The man asked. Sayaka replied with a nod. The man then asked her to leave, that he would be leaving the office to deal with the article and speak to someone. Sayaka only stood up, returning to work, however she was a little upset and not sure what she was going to tell to Miyuki when she calls her later.

--

Haruka was still upset after this morning with her father, she wanted to know what the article was about, yet, at the same time she didn't want to even bother reading the lies. Being trapped in the apartment wasn't much of a help either the only things she kept thinking about were her past, they just kept crawling back into her mind at any given moment. Haruka just really wanted to get out and that's exactly what she planned.

Throwing on a jacket, some blue jeans, some kicks, and a beanie, Haruka tried her best to wear something to hide her face as best as she can, that way no one would notice her. She took her key and left the apartment , throwing the hood of her jacket over her head and keeping her head low. Luckily no one was in the apartments hallways and elevator.
Once outside the building she took a deep breath, breathing in the fresh air she desperately wanted to inhale and feel it hit her face. She saw people walk on by without bothering to look at her they just went on with their lives. As she watched them go she decided to start walking with no idea as to where but anywhere but back in the suffocating apartment.

--

Yui was about to complete her whole book, except she blanked out about a day ago; writers block. She kept on pacing around the room trying to come up with an ending adequate but nothing popped up, she grew frustrated and only stared at the white screen with tired eyes. Luckily though she was able to fall asleep only to wake up the next morning, feeling a little better. Yui went back to her desk with her laptop still open. She tapped on the keypad for the computer to wake from its sleep and she found the white boring page still open. She sighed, nothing was coming to mind yet. She let out a frustrated growl and messed her hair up. She wanted something to pop in her head and nothing, zero words came to mind.

Tired of staring at the page, Yui came to the conclusion that she should shut the computer off and head outside. Maybe the real world would help her ease her mind. Grabbing a toe she hopped in the shower, came out got dressed and went to grab some food to take, preferably a fruit, however she had no food. She'd gone days with take out since she had not yet seen the light of day in days or had any fresh air. Ready to go, she decided to buy food, stock up for the days to come to come up with an ending.

Breathing in the fresh air gave Yui a sense of relief, the cold air hit her face and it felt amazing. Now, she understood why humans need to go out. Gripping onto her backpack straps just over her shoulder she began to make her way to the nearest market. On the way she kept her eyes up, looking at the people pass by and the buildings around her. Her mind began to work again, coming up with sentences for a different book she had been thinking of for years.
Losing herself as she walked, she felt someone bump her shoulder from behind. Back into reality she looked at the young woman who apologized, quickly walking the same direction Yui was heading. Yui didn't reply to her, since she practically ran, but it had given her a piece for the ending, to which now, she had to complete. She co to her her walk, eventually making it to the market where she got a whiff of the fresh bread being made inside, and her stomach growled for it.

Following the scent, Yui stepped right in grabbing a basket to stuff the things she was going to buy. She was limiting herself, with no job comes no money and she had been running out since buying the take out food. She went through aisle and aisle picking out the lowest price products to stick in her basket, not caring if it was that great or not as long as she would survive.

Just as she made it to one of the aisles, she felt a presence behind her, turning she found a young hooded girl just at the other end of the aisle, looking at some chips, reading the back of the bag. Yui felt curious as to who she was that her body automatically took a step towards the young woman and stopped when she saw her head bob up. Yui felt her heart race, not from being afraid of being seen but as if her heart was excited, excited that it finally met someone they hadn't seen In such a long time. Yet, Yui couldn't understand why when she hasn't seen who this person is.
Yui stood, watching them place the chips back slowly, trying to peek through the side of her hood. When she couldn't she turned to leave the aisle and Yui followed, smal steps to not scare them anymore. She halted however, when the name that was like her kryptonite, was heard.

"Haruka!"

Yui felt her heart stop. It couldn't be her.

AHHHHHHH!! THANKS FOR THE (LOVELY)COMMENTS! Hehe..  I'm still doing this right...Right!? This chapter is long, sorry. Also have you guys seen the preview for the new story?

Haruka tried to peek from behind her hoodie while she placed the bag of chips back, she wanted to see who was behind her but didn't dare. She felt she knew who it was, something in her screaming to turn to see the person. However, Haruka didn't want to see her. Instead of turning to meet with this person, she turned to walk out of the aisle, trying to get away but she didn't make it far, she stopped on her toes before crashing into the last person she expected to meet.

"Haruka!" The other girl said surprised once she caught her face. Haruka couldn't help widened her eyes just as surprised as she was to find her here. Without a word however, Haruka took a hold of the girls arm and pulled her to walk, dragging her out of the market.

--

Yui tried to come up with ways to tell herself it wasn't Haruka, but she couldn't, she saw her face in the reflection of a mirror and she knew it was her. Her heart had been beating like crazy since she felt her presence near and all she could do was try to calm it but that wasn't working. When she saw Haruka wrap her arm around the other girl she felt slightly upset wanting to go up and grab Haruka to drag her out. That didn't happen of course, she was stuck in place her eyes only focused on the two, looking like a couple walking out of the market. Instead, she dropped her small basket of food and turned to leave but was caught by someone and she was in definite shock to see them.

--

Outside the market Haruka finally released the breath she had been holding in since she felt someone staring at her, nearing her as she stood in the aisle. She clutched onto her chest, ready to release her tears. The other girl had asked if she was okay and Haruka could only reply with a shake of her head and the girl took her hand.

"Let's go." She said in such a calm voice. Haruka only glanced at her before looking back into the market somewhat hoping to see her, to actually see the face she missed. Turning back to the girl she gave a nod and let her lead the way.

"What are you doing here?" Yui asked the older woman who was paying for Yui's groceries. Once she had seen her drop her basket she picked it up and offered to pay, Yui was still in shock with what had occurred she couldn't deny the offer, no words were coming to her head.
The older woman paid and grabbed some bags asking Yui to help as well and she obeyed grabbing the rest of the bags. The two made their way out before the older woman replied to her.

"I'm back in Japan for a couple of weeks. I saw you walk in, followed, and watched what happened back there." She said.

Yui only let her head hang low, her mind flashing to the moment she caught Harukas face. "You could have just talked to me before anything happened, maybe I wouldn't have seen her." She told the older woman, sounding angry.

"Yui," she laughed, "I didn't see it was her, but least now you know she's back."

Yui shook her head. "Yeah, now I want her to leave." She furrowed. The older woman didn't respond instead continued their walk back to Yui's apartment. After no words were said between the two, Yui turned to her, her anger calmed, and asked, "How's Atsuko?"

The older woman smiled, turning to her, "She is better."

Yui couldn't help but look away, she felt bad. "Minami," she finally said her name, "listen, I would have gone to visit but-"

"It's okay, Yui. I understand, she understands." She assured her. "From what you've written me, I can see why you didn't have time to go. Also it's a long flight." Again she smiled.

Yui still didn't dare look up at her older friend, she only focused on the ground beneath her feet. Each step she took she tried to keep off the cracks, It became a good distraction for the moment.

"Yui." Minami called for her to look at her. She did. "Everything is okay. Everything will be better."

Yui stared at her, knowing exactly what she meant. "Sometimes it feels like it's getting worse." Yui replied in almost a whisper. Minami caught her face. She was sad, broken hearted, beaten by love and Minami knew she had a lot to do before she would leave again.

--

"What are you doing here?" Haruka quietly asked the other girl. She had been gripping her arm as they walked through the streets, keeping her head low so no one would see her.

"My trip ended. I came back home yesterday." The girl replied looking at the people around, for some strange reason she felt like some of them were staring at her. "Why don't we get out of the streets."
Haruka gave a nod and the two headed straight for an apartment complex.

Walking into the small apartment, Haruka threw her hoodie off as soon as she heard the door shut. She looked around finding the place to be a little messy, and with the limited space things were cramped up in a corner. Haruka couldn't help but giggle, it was something she has never seen. Most of the places Haruka has stayed at or lived in were big houses or apartments and to see such a small place was new.

"Are you laughing at my place?" The girl asked. She was quite happy to see the girl smiling now.

Haruka shook her head, covering her mouth. "It's small and there's a mess..."

"So," the girl raised a brow, "you are? That's fine, it's my little place." She smiled proudly as she walked past her, making her way to clear some things from her bed.

"This is where you live?" Haruka asked.

"Yeah, when I'm not traveling."

Haruka made her way from the door to the window, looking around at her stuff, finding a wall of pictures. "Haruu," she turned to the girl who was grabbing some clothes from the ground. "Where is this?" Haruka pointed at a picture with Haruu being surrounded by children.

"Africa. I went last year to help build a school." Haruu smiled, quickly turning back to pick up the last few clothes. Haruka continued to view the pictures. Once she got to one on the bottom corner she looked at it closely.

"Oh my..." Haruka muttered and Haruu hadn't heard her, she was busy throwing the pile of clothes to the corner, turning to Haruka and asking if she wanted a drink. Haruka turned, her mouth gaping. Haruu stared at her, she could see she wanted to say something. "Yo-you-you're..." She couldn't spit it all out.

"You're?" Haruu questioned, her brow raising for some words to spill out.

"Shimada?" Haruka asked. She knew the family Shimada, shes met them and has heard about them, but never did she expect Haruu to be related to them. "You're family is rich..." She pointed back at the picture, a family picture with Haruu and her parents along with two brothers and a sister.

"Uh..." Haruu replied. "Not really... Well actually yeah, but I mean, I'm not..."

"We have donated thousands of dollars to you're family's charity. They do so much." Haruka was still babbling on, shocked to actually find out about Haruu. "I've met you... When we were kids." Haruka recalled. "I remember... Why didn't you tell me?"

"I wasn't sure if you remembered and when you didn't actually say anything, I just didn't want to say anything... I'm sorry." Haruu sincerely apologized, looking down at her mess on the floor.

Haruka wasn't sure how she should react; angry at her for not telling her they knew each other in the past, or glad to meet with an old friend even if she didn't remember much. She took a seat on Haruu's bed, looking down at the floor, contemplating. Haruu took a seat on a small chair across from her, watching her in deep thought, waiting for her to say something. Just as Haruka raised her head, Haruu found her smiling causing her to raise her brow. Suddenly Haruka began to laugh which caused Haruu to raise her other brow.

"Are you alright?" She asked the laughing girl.

Haruka was busy cracking up, her face turning red, her arm hugging her stomach from the pain of laughter, and once she caught her breath she told Haruu why she was laughing so much. "I remembered," She wiped a tear from her eye, "when you belly flopped in the pool." Haruka laughed more barely able to say, "I heard the splat on your stomach." Her laughter continued and Haruu only watched her with such an unamused look.

"I was twelve." She said. "That really hurt."

Haruka only laughed more, and with Haruu watching she couldn't help but let out a small smile, not just happy to see her laughing but they do say laughter is contagious.

--

Minami decided to cook for Yui while she ordered her to clean the apartment. It was as messy as Yui was in her life and this was the place to start helping her in. She had asked her what she was up to and Yui confessed she quit her job and began working on her book. Minami was upset about that but she knew Yui always wanted to write, she knew that was Yui's dream; to write a book.
When Minami finished dinner she called Yui who was finishing up making her bed and coming out with two small bags of trash, throwing them by the door to take out later. Yui turned to the kitchen, taking a whiff. It was awhile since she had a proper home cooked meal.

"It smells good." Yui commented with a smile, like the food revived her somehow.

Minami returned the smile. "Does it? Go sit and I'll serve you."

Yui listened and went on to sit at the table while Minami took two plates of food in each hand, placing them down on the table. Quickly running to grab the utensils, she returned and sat with Yui ready to eat as well. Catching Yui happily taking the first bite, Minami smiled. From what Sayaka informed her it didn't seem bad but now being here she could see how much Haruka broke her heart.

"Tell me about your book." Minami interrupted her.

Yui shook her head. "It's just a love story. Typical."

"Can I read it?" Minami asked, guessing Yui would say no.

Correct she was. Yui shook her head. "It's embarrassing."

"I'm one person out of thousands who will read it once it's out." Minami chuckled and Yui did as well.

"Maybe once I'm done." Yui said and Minami gave a nod, not wanting to push her to let her read it. The two began to eat quietly; a comfortable silence. Yui was actually very happy to meet with Minami after two years, although she wished Atsuko was with her. "Who is staying with Atsuko?" Yui asked, curiously wondering who was caring for her wife.

"Her mother. She came to visit us and it gave me the chance to come and see how things are." Minami then glanced at her phone finding a message from her wife. "Speaking of which I need to call her."

"You can use my room for privacy." Yui said, in case her friend did want to speak to her wife alone.

Minami shook her head. "It's alright." She called the girl, pressing her phone up to her ear and Yui watched her patiently waiting for her wife to pick up. Once she did, Yui couldn't deny her friend was in love, almost like each time Minami heard Atsukos voice she would melt into happiness.

"How are you feeling?" Minami asked. After a response she replied. "I hate when you go through that... You have to eat..." Yui caught the pout she made.
"Yeah, I'm with her. Do you want to speak to her?"

Yui kinda shook her head, she didn't really want to speak to Atsuko, not sure what she was going to say to her. Minami ignored her and pretty much threw the phone to her. Yui nervously answered. "Hello, Atsuko." She forced a small smile.

"Hey, Yui." She heard a happy voice, clearly able to tell she was smiling with her nose scrunched like she remembered. "Minami tells me you're broken hearted."

Yui glared at Minami, causing the older girl to sit back on her seat, scared. "I'll be alright."

Atsuko laughed. "Yeah, right. You and Minami are the same, so, I know well enough you've kept away from everyone."

She was right. "I don't like people." She simply said.

"I want you to at least try to speak to this girl... Haruka?"

"I don't want to see her." Yui began to play with her food using a spoon.

"Yui," Atsuko scolded, "you know you can't go on the way you are."

"How do you know all this?"

"Minami told me everything you've written her and Sayaka called her." Atsuko said. She knew she wasn't suppose to tell her that last bit but she didn't care. Atsuko knew Sayaka and Yui were best friends, and after everything she just wanted to help fix things but she couldn't fly back to help her friends.

Yui had a vein popping from her forehead as she shot a deadly glare towards Minami who kept her eyes elsewhere but Yui. "Don't listen to Sayaka," Yui said through gritted teeth. "She only makes things worse."

"Yui, she wants to help. Sayaka is your friend and even through what the two of you went through I think it's best and try to talk."

"I don't want to."

"At least try. I've learned it's not best to hold grudges towards people you love..."

Yui sighed. "Acchan..." She paused for a moment, and finally asked her what she really wanted to ask her before this conversation. "How are you? How's chemotherapy going?"

"It's been... Better." She heard the reply with still such a cheery voice not sure as to how she does it. "I actually had it yesterday but I feel sick. Still, if it's to make me better, I'll suffer through it."

Yui only felt sadness succumb her. "You'll beat cancer. I'm sure of that."

"If I can do this you can find the time and talk to Sayaka and Haruka." She again scolded.

Yui let out a small smile now, she loved the care Minami and Atsuko always gave her. "Alright. I'll try. And I promise I'll visit soon."

"You better!"

--

Haruka and Haruu were both seated on the floor catching up on when they were younger. For some reason Haruu made her forget any problem at the moment, even more with her jokes. Haruu went on to reminding her the day they had met at her families charity event, Haruka remembered that night when the two had "accidentally" clogged a toilet. The two just wanted to go home, away from the boring old people party and the two came up with causing a disaster; luckily the fire alarm idea was ruled out by the two.

"I still can't believe we did that! We got into so much trouble after it." Haruka laughed. But it soon died down, the two caught their breath and settled on the floor, their backs against the bed frame. "Why did we lose touch?" Haruka suddenly asked.

Haruu turned giving her an honest answer. "I didn't want to live under my parents shadow. I didn't want to really live the luxury lifestyle. I wanted to travel and help others so I just up and moved on, stayed away from the events and parties."

"But your family gives money to people in need." Haruka answered, confused as to why live away from them.

"Yeah, they donate money and gone to events to show they help but I wanted to actually do it all the time." Haruu explained.

"And why go to France?" Haruka asked. She took her cup of juice Haruu had handed to her before the two settled to talk, taking a drink from it as Haruu began to answer her.

"I went to visit a small school. My parents were talking about donating but weren't sure if it was a legit school. I went to make sure."

Haruka nodded. "Do you usually do that?"

"Yeah," Haruu replied taking her cup to drink. "If my parents ask, I'll go. Also it's work."

"Following your parents footsteps." Haruka commented.

Haruu lightly shook her head. "Not really them but my grandfather. He loved to travel. He told me stories of when he traveled to different parts of the world and met these amazing people."

Haruka watched her, her eyes glistening as she told her grandfathers story, saw her at her happiest moment and Haruka couldn't hold back a smile while she listened to her.

"He loved it." Haruu looked up, clearly picturing her grandfather. "His traveling stories only made me dream of going places, literally going places." She laughed.

Haruka laughed as well. "Where have you traveled to?"

Haruu thought, looking up and then turning to the pictures on the wall. Standing from the floor, she jumped to the bed and pointed to the pictures where she's gone. Haruka stood up and watched.

"I've gone to Africa; you've seen that. I've gone to Brazil," she pointed at another picture. "America; been there plenty of times. Uh... Oh I want to go to India." Haruu excitedly said.

"India." Haruka repeated under her breath. Never has she thought about traveling to India or any other place except France, America, and maybe even South Korea.

"You should join me some day." Haruu said, breaking Haruka's thoughts. Looking up at Haruu she smiled and gave a slight nod. Haruu jumped off the bed, standing inches from Haruka. "I've been wanting to ask... Well that's if you aren't mad at me anymore.." Haruu scratched the back of her head.

Haruka remembered how she acted in France towards her. She does like Haruu she just didn't want to get close to her. "What did you want to ask?" Haruka was curious but at the same time those feelings of trust towards her came back, understanding it was probably from knowing her when they were younger, but still she liked Haruu, more now that the two have talked, no beer or alcohol drinks involved.

"If you-" sadly the phone rang before she got to finish her question. Haruu sighed. Without stepping away from her spot, she reached into her pocket and pulled a phone out. "Hello?" She asked, her eyes still focused on Haruka's

Haruka didn't want to look away either, her eyes felt glued to her and this time she wasn't using her fathers methods to grabbing people for her own gain.
She hadn't been paying much attention to what Haruu was talking about on the phone but soon her eyes shifted from her and Haruu became concerned now. Watching Haruu furrow, Haruka tried to listen to what she was saying now. However, Haruu hung up and looked up at Haruka.

"I think we got into trouble again." Haruu said.

Haruka only raised a brow, not sure to what she was talking about.

The last thing Atsuko asked from Yui was to make sure Minami had some fun. She wanted her wife to at least loosen up, with everything that's happened she was too tied up doing everything, from working, paying bills, and even taking care of Atsuko everyday.
Yui promised Atsuko this and first thing was first to have some drinks in them. She handed a beer to Minami who had declined but Yui gave her a pout, like a puppy, and Minami said, only  one.

Three beers later they were beginning to loosen up, reminiscing the days they were in school together; laughing at their inside jokes, even recalling the day Minami finally asked Atsuko to be her wife.

"The two of you were young!" Yui recalled, "only seventeen and you two got married."

"Hey," Minami shrugged, "I really wanted her to be mine forever."

Yui couldn't help but smile, her cheeks flushing red from her previous drink and moving in to half of her third one. "I wish I had someone like that when I was in school. I'd be married now with a wonderful life instead of this depressing one."

Minami suddenly felt the mood go up to down in seconds. It was understandable however, her friend wasn't going to change in minutes or hours, this would take time. "Tell me about Haruka." She requested from Yui.

Yui shook her head and snorted, "why? So I can re-live everything that's happened? No thanks."

"Come on. So far, what I know about her from your letters was," Minami thought back on each letter written to her from Yui. "She wasn't the best at cooking."

Yui flashed back to a night Haruka promised her a dinner, however as soon as she got home to find a mess, she worried. Still, Yui gave her food a try and it was as great as she expected. She chuckled; which Minami caught. "Her cooking skills weren't great, but she tried."

"You told me about her artistic skills too."

"She could draw." Yui smiled. "She use to draw me these small characters I liked and gave me a small story with each of them, just to make me feel better."

"What about when you were with her, you mentioned just lying in bed with her was like a calm night after a storm."

She smiled widely, her teeth flashing. Yui only thought of the feeling she would get when she laid with Haruka, it was calm, comfortable, warm, all the good words she could think of. And wrapping her arms around her was perfect, like the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae. "I was in love with her." She muttered, her smile slowly fading. "She hurt me though. So bad I couldn't eat or sleep. When I met Rie, she helped me forget her for a short while."

"Haruka is the one you love then?" Minami asked, watching Yui shoot her head up looking over at her.
"I can't love her."

"Why?"

"Because she hurt me."

Minami sighed. "Then fix yourself up and go at it again. I mean, if I hadn't where would I be now? I wouldn't have Atsuko and I'd probably be in Japan still, all alone."

"But what she did was kiss an ex." Yui reminded her. "What Haruka did was cheat on me with my best friend."

"But from what I recall, you two weren't officially together-"

"That isn't the point!" Yui retorted, "the point is I loved her so much, she knew this and still went off with Sayaka because she believed she was in love with two people at the same time. Can you believe that? In love with two people." Yui scoffed, "it's impossible... Even if we weren't officially together she knew how much I wanted her to be mine and the way she spoke to me, treated me was almost like she wanted me too but if she did she wouldn't have gone off into Sayaka's arms. She picked me that night and still couldn't let Sayaka go, she had to go on and give her one last kiss!" Yui huffed, she didn't realize she was babbling on. She continued however. "I told her I would fight for her..." She calmed her tone now, speaking quietly. "The last night I saw her, I said to her I would come back for her, instead I let anger overcome me and I wanted her to never come into my life. The time I spent alone I only grew to hate her... Seeing her today made it go away. I had the urge to run over and hug her, hold her like I had before..."

"What stopped you?" Minami asked.

"Jealousy..." Yui answered honestly. "When I saw her with the other girl... I thought, 'I lost her. I didn't even try and I lost her.' " There was a long silence after. Minami caught Yui deep in thought, staring at the floor.

"What if she is just a friend?" Minami asked. Yui only shook her head chugging down the rest of her beer. "I saw how she held onto the girls arm..." She paused, looking at her empty beer bottle. "I'm going to get another." Yui said quietly, getting up for another beer. Yui just wanted to stop talking about Haruka now, it was driving her crazy. While Minami thought of more ways to get Yui to open up more.

Returning to her boss's apartment, Sayaka held the key in her hand as she stood in front of the door staring at the key in hand. She felt as if she needed to prepare herself to meet with Haruka after so long. What will she say to her?, what will she do as soon as she walks in and sees her? Sayaka contemplated for awhile whether to walk in or not, if she should stick the damn key in the damn keyhole and meet with her ex-lover.
With one final deep breath, she stuck the key in keyhole fitting perfectly in. Before she turned the key she heard footsteps and her head shot to her side to find the girl she missed.

"Haruka." She muttered. It was as if the world vanished from her sight; it was only her and Haruka.

Haruka stood in the hallway, a couple of feet from Sayaka, she was one of the last person she expected to meet, but the same went with Haruu. The two only had their eyes on each other, not a word being said, neither one of them moving an inch. She could feel her heart rapidly beating, scared to say anything to her, afraid to move or take a step to her. Bravely, however, she said, "Hey..." In a faint voice and in seconds Sayaka was moving towards her, throwing her arms around Haruka.

No words were said, Haruka kept her arms to her side while Sayaka hugged the girl, her hold getting tighter. Haruka was ready to throw her arms around her, tell her she missed her, that she was sorry. Wanting to cry on her shoulder, but she didn't have a chance.

"Is everything alright, Haruka?" Haruu appeared behind Haruka, causing Sayaka to break the hug  to find the girl from the picture in the article. Haruka turned as well. "Everything is fine. This is Sayaka."

Haruu smiled, sticking her hand out to greet her properly. Sayaka stared at her hand and back up at her. It was funny because from the look on her face, Haruka knew she was upset, maybe even jealous.
-----

The three were inside the apartment, Haruu looking around while Sayaka stared at her, keeping a close eye on her. Haruka stood beside Sayaka, watching her watching Haruu. "Sayaka," she called, taking her attention from Haruu.

Sayaka turned her head slightly her eyes never looking at her, they stayed watching Haruu. Haruka called her name again and this time Sayaka turned to her. "What is she doing with you?" She asked in a whisper, not wanting Haruu to hear her. "From what Miyuki told me she's the one who spilled it all to the tabloids and you bring her here!" Sayaka raised her voice at the last word and Haruu turned to the two. Haruu was actually also looking out for Haruka, knowing a little about what she's been through with Sayaka, she wanted to jump in and save her from anything that may happen, say if Sayaka made her upset.

Haruka raised a hand indicating to Haruu everything is alright. Haruu, giving a nod, she went back to look around the apartment  pretending to give the two some private time but the apartment wasn't big enough to actually stay far from their talk.

"Haruka," Sayaka turned back and continued, "how can you trust her? Have you seen the latest article?"

"Sayaka," Haruka spoke in a low timid voice, "we can talk in awhile, I'll get Haruu to go and we can talk, please."

"Fine." Sayaka crossed her arms over her chest looking from Haruka back to Haruu.

Haruka had kept her eye on Sayaka, she was acting strange, almost if she was jealous of Haruu, thinking it may have to do with the article. She walked over to Haruu, asking her if it was alright she left her and Sayaka alone. Haruu glanced at a glaring Sayaka and looked back at Haruka.

"If you need anything just call me." She handed her cell phone number to her.

Haruka smiled. "Thank you. I will. And again I'm sorry about the article and bringing you into this mess, also about forgetting who you were, and... Well... Every thing else that's happened since we met in Paris." Her head lowered, embarrassed after all the events between her and Haruu.

Haruu shook her head, "it's alright," she smiled lowering her head to get her to look back up at her. "I can handle it." She smiled once Harukas eyes hooked to hers and smiled wider once Haruka did. Sayaka watched the two exchanging some sort of look, she could see Haruka smiling the same way she used to when she would make her feel better. A hint of anger grew in her, but she knew she had no right to be.
"I'll go now. Call me." Haruu said again, really wanting Haruka to call her. She said her goodbye and Haruka lead her out.

"I don't trust her!" Sayaka sharply said once the door shut. Haruka turned giving her an annoyed look. Instead of saying anything to Sayaka, she walked up to her and hugged her. This time she was the one to wrap her arms around her and Sayaka's arms hung to her side.
The anger washed away from Sayaka feeling Haruka tighten her embrace. She threw her arms around the younger girl and took in her scent.

"I've missed you." Sayaka admitted first. Haruka didn't dare to say it.

She did, though. "I've missed you too."

After a moment of letting themselves fall into the hug, Sayaka pushed away from Haruka and looked into her eyes then down to her stomach, finding it flat. Looking back up, Haruka knew what she was going to ask and she was not looking forward to explaining to her.

"Did you..." Sayaka was caution to what she wanted to ask, waiting for Haruka to answer before she completed the question.

"I lost the baby." Haruka looked away so Sayaka would t see her sadness fill her eyes.

Sayaka place a finger under Harukas chin and raised her face to get her to look at her. "I'm sorry..." She whispered to her. Haruka stared deeply into her eyes, yet again, remebering why she was so in love with her.
The two were back to another perfect moment, the moment Haruka could only think of wanting to kiss her. Their faces neared each other's, lips inches apart, ready to taste those pink lips the two had missed. However, Haruka stopped it from happening. She threw her arms around Sayaka again and asked, "just hold me for awhile." She rested her cheek on Sayakas shoulder. "Please, I just need you to."

Sayaka wrapped her arms around her and held her. It was a perfect moment.

I wish I could comment a very long and detailed post... but I can't. This broke my heart, seriously. I wanted to cry when I read Yui's rant about Haruka (I'm concerned about Yui the most and I want her to be happy) and OMG this just gave me so many feels. Also the last part with Haruka and Sayanee hurt me, they still have feelings for each other and all I keep on thinking is how much Yui is suffering. I just can't handle myself Q^Q but good job, you have me hanging on your story.
I'll be waiting for the next chapter! Thank you so much for your update!

P.S.: WHY WOULD YOU GIVE ACCHAN CANCER?!?!?!?!?!?! QAQ!!!

Rooting for Yuiparu, of course, but still looks like there's more obstacles to come. As always, a good read and I can't wait for more story to come.

Hello. Just re-reading and re-comenting and I know I didn't say this before but I felt (and still feel) like this: Haruka must suffer for Yui. Like OMG Yui was betrayed by the person she loves and her best friend and still she's the one who has to figh for Haruka? Paruru must see how hurt she's done to her and decide to go for her before it's too late. I know there's also the situation with Haruu but argh! This is killing me TAT
Anyways, I hope you update soon!!!

It had been days since Yuko and Haruna had their argument. It was expected from Yuko to go back to any normal day the two would have; wake up, have breakfast, get ready for work, come home, snuggle up or have some fun in bed. It was all expected to go back to their perfect lives, however that didn't happen. The days that came after their argument, Haruna gave Yuko the silent treatment, of course the shorter woman did all that she could to get her to talk to her, to forgive her, and that wasn't happening. Yuko knew the only way to get her to start talking to her would be by giving in and moving back to Japan. Except she didn't want to lose her job, her perfect life in Paris, she overall didn't want to lose Haruna, the woman who made her life so perfect.
Yuko accepted the faith of the silent treatment, but she knew Haruna would break at some point if she returned that treatment as well. So, the two didn't speak to each other, they went on doing the same routines in the mornings and coming home from work. The only thing that did change was having lunch together or call each other during their breaks from work, which has now turned into just short text messages like; did you eat?, we need juice, or I'll be home late. And as replies it would be one word answers for each text the two would send each other. It was driving Yuko crazy.

Finally the day came where Yuko broke first. She arrived home to find Haruna cooking, having the urge to walk up behind her and give her a kiss. Only Yuko didn't do that, she went to her bedroom got changed and came back out to the silent home.
"I give up!" She shouted. Haruna didn't flinch or look back from the frying pan she looked down at, watching the fish cook. "Haruna," Yuko called out, making her way to the kitchen. "I'm sorry! I've been a jerk and I did promise you we would go back but we just can't!"
"Why?" Haruna turned, sharply asking her. "Tell me why we can't move back?"
Yuko had to come up with an answer. A lie. "Because I won't be able to find a job that pays well as this one." She found it lame but went along with it. "What I am working for is for us. The money I'm making is so we can continue living this life we have, to provide for us and for our future kids! Haruna, I just want to see you happy and I'm working for that."

Haruna Let out a frustrated sound, turned to the stove and shut it off before leaving the kitchen and throwing the apron onto the kitchen table. "I don't care about the money! I know that we can provide for ourselves and our future kids as well but I'd rather do this in Japan, at our home. I know you love it here, and I do too, but I want to go home." Haruna sighed, she finally turned to Yuko who had followed her, she stood far from her but she listened to her and watched her. "I miss my mom, I want my old job back, I want to go back and see my friends... I am happy with you, but if you can't or don't want to move back then don't. You can stay and work, but I'm going back."

Yuko felt her heart sink, this was the last thing she wanted. "You can't."

"I can." Haruna replied, head held up high as she did.

Yuko felt her head drop, her mind racing through any other excuse to get her to stay, but no matter what she would lose her. The secret wasn't even revealed and already it was causing her to lose Haruna which is what she kept from happening. Yuko glanced back up, she thought of one last thing that may work, and without fully considering that it won't work, she blurted out, "If you leave its over between us." Yuko didn't realize she was furrowing, mad at Haruna when she really had no right.

"That's how you want it? Fine." Haruna replied crossing her arms, "I hope your happy here by yourself."
Yuko watched her turn towards the bedroom and watch the door shut. She wanted to rage, grabbing the closet thing to her, chucking her phone at the bedroom door watching it hit and fall on the floor.

Haruna heard this, yet didn't bother to come out, she locked herself in and cried. She never wanted to argue with her wife or hurt her, but she really wanted to go home.

--

Having Minami staying with her the last few days has made Yui feel a tad better. They always busied themselves and the thoughts of Haruka would vanish from her mind for the whole day. Only at nights Yui would find herself staring at her computer screen thinking of her. Minami would watch her, worried over her friend.
While Yui stared at the blank computer screen in the dark room, Minami got out of Yui's bed, which they were sharing, and walked up behind her placing her hand over Yui's shoulder. Yui was surprised and felt like she jumped out of her skin. Turning around she found Minami bending over to look at the screen.

"Having trouble?" Minami asked.

Yui shook her head. "Did I keep you up?"

"Not really." She smiled to her.

Yui turned back to the computer screen, "I don't know how to finish up the book. I'm working on the last chapter and I can't think of how to end it."

Minami, furrowed, thinking of how she could help. "I think you should just let it come to you. If you think about it too much you won't be able to finish it to your satisfaction."

Yui pursed her lips, "I guess you're right."

"I am!" Minami smiled. "Now, off to bed. I've seen you have been lacking in sleep."

Yui pouted, she was being treated like a kid, but she secretly liked it. Minami dragged her to bed, throwing the coers over Yui. and the minute her head hit her pillow she passed out, causing Minami to smile.

By morning, Minami was the first up finding Yui snoring and she knew she was having a good sleep. Instead of waking her or getting of bed, Minami took her phone from the bedside to send a quick message to her wife. Minami truly missed her, being apart from Atsuko especially now. She still remembered the day Atsuko came home telling her the bad news, that she had cancer. At such a young age as well, it worried Minami so much she pretty much gave up sleep to figure out what she could do to help her wife, after all she said she would be there for her in sickness and in health.
The first few months for the two were tough. Atsuko tried to push Minami away so she wouldn't have to watch Minami suffer because of her, but as her wife, Minami promised her she would help her and care for her.
Ever since, it had been a rough road for the two and love was the only thing keeping them from thinking the worst. Together it was easier for them to overcome whatever came at them.

With the message sent with a huge smile, Minami sat up in bed, resting against the backboard of the bed, thoughts of Atsuko rushing through her mind. In moments they faded away once she heard her phone ding, notifying she received a message. She took a look at her phone and found a it was from Sayaka.
'Meet me later for lunch, yeah?' She read the message, glad to finally hear from Sayaka. She had not spoken to her other friend since she arrived to Japan.
'Let me know the time and place.' She sent.
Minami waited for her reply and when she received the message she gave her an okay. Now, she thought, how was she going to get these two friends back to being friends. She turned over to Yui still fast asleep, coming up with a plan.

--

The sunlight shined through the window hitting Haruka directly over her closed eyes. She was actually glad it woke her because she was having another one of her nightmares. No dreams had appeared to her since she moved back to Japan, and the last nightmare she had was in Paris, just before leaving. The nightmare was a continuation from the night before, the night she finally met with Sayaka.
After telling her ex-lover about her losing the baby, and spending just moments with her. Haruka pushed her away, asking her to leave, she didn't how care how she knew she was there she only wanted her to go. Sayaka did as told, leaving Haruka. Sayaka did come by to check on her but Haruka kept telling her to go away, pushing her away from being in her life even if she felt bad for it.
Haruka, laid still in bed, hoping the headache will subside. Shutting her eyes, she waited for sleep to at least take over and the headache will vanish. But she hears a glass break from the kitcen and knew it was her father. She got out of bed to go check on what he was doing, and while she was up maybe get some ibuprofen.

Making her way out her bedroom and into the kitchen, she found Sayaka, instead if her father cursing over the broken glass as it was being picked up.
"What are you doing here?" Haruka asked, taking a step towards her to help.

Sayaka threw her hand up from where she crouched, picking up glass and stopped her from stepping in the area the glass scattered to. "You'll cut yourself," she said. "I'll pick it up."

Haruka ignored her and took another step to help her clean up. Sadly, Sayaka was correct, Haruka stepped on a small piece of glass and she cried in pain.

"I told you." Sayaka stood up and quickly snatched her off the floor. Haruka automatically wrapped her arms around Sayakas neck while she carried her bridal style to the couch. She blushed when she found Sayakas face only inches from her's. Quickly she looked away and Sayaka did her best to do the same, being so close to Haruka only made her heartbeat a little quicker.

Finally, gently placed on the couch, Sayaka put Haruka's foot up and kneeled to take a look at the injury. "I'll go get something to treat it. Although... It seems like a piece of glass is there." She stood to check the bathroom for rubbing alcohol and bandages, but Haruka stopped her. Turning back, she found the girl with tears swelling up in her eyes.

"It hurts." Haruka pouted. Sayaka smiled at the pout, kneeling down again, this time beside her and placed a hand over Haruka's.

"It's okay. I'm going to treat it. I'll do my best to not hurt you okay." She patted her head. This caused the ex-lover to smile. Sayaka told her she would grab the things and to not move. Haruka gave a nod and watched her go, but before making it to the bathroom Haruka asked her to bring her some pills for her headache as well as the pain under her foot now.

Sayaka returned with rubbing alcohol and a gauze, along with the pills she asked for and a glass of water. Haruka took the pills while Sayaka sat at the end of the couch, taking Haruka's foot and softly laying it on her lap. She knew taking the piece of glass out would hurt Haruka, so distraction was the way to go. She examined the bottom of the foot and asked, "How was, Paris?"

Haruka looked up at Sayaka, giving her a short reply. "It was good."

Sayaka peeked up through her hair that partly covered her eyes. "Just good? Come on, there must be more. Did you visit the Eiffel Tower? Did you have coffee on a small corner cafe early in the morning?" she smiled up at her.

Haruka thought for a second. "Well, I did do a lot while I was there. I visited the Eiffel tower, went to cafés since Miyuki and I lived pretty much above one. Also, I did a lot of shopping." While Haruka went on she didn't realize Sayaka taking the piece of glass out, she only told her some moments of being in France.

Sayaka hummed as a reply to what Haruka would say, she was listening to her, she just wanted to finish this quickly before Haruka notices the pain.
Just as she finished, Haruka finished as well and looked at Sayaka who smiled at her.

"Done?" Haruka asked. Amazed it felt like seconds ago that Sayaka began her treatment.

"Yeah. Now, go easy on your foot. And next time wear slippers." Sayaka, stood from the couch to throw away some of the bandage wrappers and cotton balls with tints of blood.

"You never told me why you're here." Haruka said just as Sayaka made it to the kitchen while she made herself comfortable on the couch. Her headache felt better when she rested her head back on the arm rest. "I thought I told you not to come back."

Sayaka turned to her once she threw away the trash. "I wanted to see how you were."

"I'm fine, I told you." She closed her eyes.

Sayaka furrowed returning to the living room. "Haruka, you told me you lost your baby. Then you asked me to leave and I did, but I'm worried. I wish you told me when you found out."

"I didn't want to." She said softly, opening her eyes to find her standing over her.

"Haruka, even through everything, I'm still here for you." Sayaka kneeled again, taking Haruka's hand into hers. "I know we can't be together the way we were, but I'm still going to be your friend. Please don't push me away."

Haruka turned, staring deeply into her eyes, Sayaka was always such an honest girl. "I don't want you to be here for me."

"Why?" Sayaka asked, the tone in her voice raised. She was upset, she just wanted to be there for her.

"Because," Haruka took Sayakas face into the palm of her hand, "I've hurt you and I know I'll do it again."

Sayaka frowned. "You won't hurt me. How could you?"

"I don't know, but I will."

Sayaka sat back on the floor, leaving Haruka's hand empty. "What about Haruu? I know who she is now. The daughter of the 'Shimada Charity.' "

"What about her?" Haruka looked down at her sitting on the floor.

"Aren't you afraid you'll hurt her?"

Haruka furrowed. "Sayaka, stop-"

"What? You're willing to start a new life with her and you won't even consider me being your friend?"

"It's not like that..." Haruka threw a hand over her head, this wasn't helping the ache. "I mean... I can't bare seeing your face or Yui's because I hurt you and that face of pain I caused the two of you to feel, it's burned into my mind and every time I look at you and if I ever see Yui, I only see those faces..." Haruka was now on the verge of tears. "With Haruu... I feel like I can start over. I would rather let you and Yui be happy than be anywhere near me."

Going back onto her knees, she looked at Haruka, "I don't want you to see me that way, Haruka. I want you to see I'll be happy. I will be happy if you stay in my life, but if you need more time away from me that is fine, just know I want to be here, I want to show you I am okay with us, and all I want is for you to be happy as well. But, please don't throw me out of your life."

Haruka couldn't resist those big round eyes looking at her. She simply gave a smile, placing her hand over Sayaka cheek. Sayaka smiled once she felt the soft hand. "I'll consider it..."

"Good." It made Sayaka happy to at least hear those words. She really wanted Haruka back in her life. Sayaka only wanted things to go back and not be alone anymore.

Their moment passed, the two staring at each other, and Haruka retracted her hand. She was beginning to feel that pull towards Sayaka again, that she wanted to kiss her. Clearing her throat, Haruka looked up at the ceiling, while Sayaka let herself fall back to sit on the floor, bringing her knees up to her chest. "What about Yui?" Sayaka suddenly asked. Haruka's eyes saddened the moment she mentioned Yui. "Do you still love her?"

Haruka brought her hand over her forehead again, "I honestly never stop thinking about her... She's in my dreams a let every night."

Sayaka caught a tear rolling down the side of her eye and she moved forward, reaching up to wipe the tear away. it caused Haruka to turn to her. "This morning, I dreamed about her..." She paused for a short moment, thinking back on the dream.
"And what happened?" Sayaka asked.
Haruka let out a shaky breath, tears still forming on the brink of her eyes, and her nose turned a shade of red at the tip. "I keep losing her... I keep hurting her over and over and I can't stop."

"Haruka," Sayaka again wiped another tear from her cheek and Haruka let her, she always loved the way she treated her, like such a baby.

"I want to go back to work. I need to distract myself again." Haruka cried. She had told herself she wouldn't anymore but the two girls she loves just bring it out of her.

"Well," Sayaka sat back on the floor. "Have you talked to your father? Maybe he will let you come back."

Haruka chuckled, shaking her head. "The last thing he wants me to do is leave the apartment. Sadly, I didn't listen to him." Haruka remembered the other day she almost had that run in with Yui. Well sort of. "But I need to distract myself," she sniffled, turning over on the ouch to face Sayaka. "And I need your help and Miyuki's."

Sayaka raised a brow, "How?"

Haruka closed her eyes. "I'll explain later..." she sighed, "My head hurts and I really want to sleep." She got comfortable and Sayaka watched her, both brows going up, she didn't know she was feeling ill. She watched her for a moment, falling asleep. She got up off the floor and headed to her bedroom to grab a blanket. Coming back with it, she laid it over the girl, bending over to give her a kiss on the forehead. "Sleep tight."

--

In France, Yuko was on her lunch break, trying to figure out what she could do to get Haruna to stay. She was still upset over how easily Haruna could end this marriage. They had been together for long and it could end in just a matter of minute. Yuko needed to do something to at least salvage the marriage before it ends in a much more worse way. While she stared at the picture of her wife on her desk, Yuko came up with an idea. It may work, but it could also be a bust.
She grabbed her jacket and purse, heading out her office, and informing the young woman on front desk she will be back before her break was over. Leaving the small building she hailed a taxi and headed more into the city. There, she arrive in front of a building which stood tall and broad, somewhere she never expected to ever step into, especially when it was owned by a man she despised.

Paying the taxi, she turned to the building and made her way to the entrance where she was greeted by security. She gave them a name, asking to meet with them, but of course security was always on it job, Yuko had to wait until they cleared it with who she wanted to meet. Luckily, she agreed to meet with her and security let her in, informing her what floor to go to.
Reaching where she was suppose to go to, she made her way out the filled elevator, never thinking a place like this would have so many people and would be extremely busy. Just as she stepped out she was greeted by who she wanted to meet.

"Yuko," the young woman smiled.

"Miyuki, I want to speak to you." Yuko said, "It's about Haruna."

--

There was a moment when Yui awoke in the afternoon that she felt like the day was going to be different, like it was going to be a good day. The sleep was a help too, she never thought she could sleep in 'til the afternoon, she would be up before seven every morning for the last few years, just after she got her job at the newspaper. She sat up in bed letting her body stretch and out a yawn.

"Ah, you're up," Minami turned to Yui from the end of the bed. "You had a good sleep." She smiled at Yui and Yui returned a wide grin. "I was about to leave you a note."

Yui raised a brow now, her smile fading. "Where are you going?"

"I'm going to meet with a friend and then after with my parents." Minami answered. "Don't worry I'll be back later if I'm still allowed to stay over while I'm here."

Yui watched Minami's smile, trying to act cute, she thought. "Of course. But what am I going to do all by myself.." She asked, mostly to herself.

Minami finished putting on her shoes and stood from the bed, "Maybe, go out. Have nice walk before you come back and try to finish the book." She pointed at the laptop. "I don't want you cooped up in here anymore, and the computer screen is bad for your eyes."

Yui rolled her eyes, "Yes, mom." She hid a chuckle under her breath. The older woman was acting like she was her parent, she would have enough nagging from her own parents when they called.

Minami grinned, "Good, girl. Now, I'm heading out. I'll bring home dinner." She said as she walked out of the bedroom and shouted, "See you," before shutting the door.

Yui threw herself back in bed, she wanted to lay there a little longer but at the same time, going out for a walk wasn't a bad idea. Or maybe something to get her blood pumping. She jumped out of bed, heading to her closet grabbing a jacket and some short from her drawer. Yui wanted to run, something she hadn't done in months.

--

When Haruka awoke from her morning nap, she was happy to find Sayaka sitting on the floor with a bowl of ice cream while she watched tv. Haruka, smiled sitting up on the couch, thats when Sayaka turned.

"You're awake." Sayaka smiled, still with her bowl of ice cream.

"What are you doing?" Haruka gave a look to her ice cream and Sayaka felt embarrassed to be caught eating their ice cream.

She looked into her bowl and back up at Haruka. "I was eating your ice cream..."

Haruka laughed, catching Sayaka's cheeks reddened. At that moment, before Sayaka could say anything else her phone rang. Haruka watched her eyes widened and get up off the floor. "Here you can have the rest." She handed her the bowl of ice cream. "I have to meet with a friend. I forgot about it."

"Will you come by later?" Haruka asked. She looked down at the ice cream bowl and back up at Sayaka who was grabbing her sweater.

"I'll come later. If you want me to." Sayaka had to make sure she wanted her there.

"Please do," Haruka smiled.

Sayaka said she would and Haruka got up to let her out, but Sayaka asked her to stay on the couch not wanting her to walk on her injured foot. Haruka listened, she didnt want to get up anyways, she thought. Sayaka left to the door, remidning her she would come by later and just as she opened the door she found Haruu with her hand up in a fist ready to knock. The two looked at each other surprised.

"What are you doing here?" Sayaka asked, though rather rudely.

"Uh," Haruu peeked behind her quickly, "I came to speak to Haruka about something."

Haruka heard Haruu's voice and stood up to see her. Getting to the door Sayaka turned and Haruu looked at her as well. "I told you to stay on the couch, you shouldn't be walking on your foot." Sayaka scolded.

"What happened to your foot?" Haruu asked.

Haruka wasn't sure who to speak to. "I'll go back and I cut my foot with a piece of glass."

Sayaka sighed, "Go sit." Turning back to Haruu she said, "Come in." While Haruu walked in, Haruka was returning to the couch and before Haruu made it past Sayaka, she stopped her. "Can you keep an eye out for her. Make sure she doesn't leave the apartment again." She spoke to her in a whisper, she didn't want Haruka to hear. Another reason she told her was she didn't want another scandal with the two.

"We will stay in. Don't worry." Haruu smiled, assuring her she would do what she asks, even if they don't know each other.

Sayaka returned a half-ass smile and left the apartment, closing the door behind her. Haruu made her way to the living room where Haruka waited, eating the left over ice cream Sayaka left. Haruu smiled at the young woman eating ice cream happily.

"Ice cream for lunch?" She asked.

Haruka smiled at her, "Sayaka gave me her leftovers since she had to go." Haruu took the seat beside her. Haruka offered her some and declined. "What brings you here?" Haruka asked taking the bite Haruu didn't want.

"I wanted to speak to you, about the article and my parents."

"Are we in trouble again?" Haruka asked giving her a scared look.

Haruu laughed and shook her head, "Not necessarily... But My parents have set up a meeting with your father for today."

Haruka furrowed, "Why? Can't we just say it isn't true?"

"My parents think it would be good publicity for their charities..." Haruu looked away, she was always ashamed of they way her parents sometimes worked.

Haruka knew all too much about publicity and how it works. She just didn't want to drag Haruu in this, Haruu is already living a calm life doing what she loves, away from the public eye. The article already got her out there now anyways. She just wished she knew who was taking these pictures of her, of them. Thinking back on the article, Haruu doesn't deserve to be dragged down with her. If this person wanted to break her fathers company and ruin her life why drag her in this.
"Since, the article spoke about us... Potentially dating, my parents want us to actually date just to raise more money, and they are going to speak to your father about this..."

"They want us to actually date..." Haruka's brows rose. Haruu watched her, waiting for some sort of denial of this. Haruka however, showed no sign of that. Instead she found her losing herself in her thoughts.

"Haruka?" Haruu called out to her for a response.

"That will be a good idea actually."

Haruu's eyes almost popped out. "What? Really?"

Haruka gave a nod. This may actually help her in her plan to going back to work and moving on. Although it seemed like a bad plan to begin with.

Haruu watch her, catching the same face she had right before they stuffed the toilets with paper at the party when they were younger. "You're scheming aren't you?"

--
The two sat across from each other, waiting for their lunches. It had been a long time since the two met and the first thing they went off about was their old school days. It was a nice friendly chat, along with some food. No one was actually mentioning Yui or Haruka, and the mess it was. Instead Sayaka was asking about Atusko and how she was, going on that she wanted to go to the States and visit the two. As they went along it didn't take long for Minami to ask about what had occurred between this love triangle.

"You've heard it all." Sayaka sat back on the chair. "Yui, hates me... But I want her to be okay." She quickly sat back up on the chair asking, "How is she?"
"Not good to be honest." Minami answered. "Before she seemed fine and when I got here, she was a mess. Did you know she almost ran into her?"
"Into Haruka?" Sayaka asked, "She didn't tell me that..." her eyes shifted down.
Minami raised an eyebrow, "So, you've met with her?"
Sayaka looked back up, "I-I was asked to watch out for her. My boss, her father, wanted me to keep an eye on her since he doesn't trust anyone else." She explained.

"Why?"

"He doesn't trust anyone to look after her, since she has someone following her, coming up with these lies to bring her down... I don't know but someones out there deliberately trying to hurt her."

"The scandals?" Minami had read some of the gossip, she enjoyed it just as much as anyone else.

Sayaka nodded, "If her father can't figure out who is doing it then whoever it is really knows what they are doing."

"What makes you say that?" Minami asked, taking a sit from her glass of water.

"Her father is a scary man when it comes to someone bringing him down. He usually gets to the source and shuts them up." Sayaka explained.

"Wow, he does sound scary." Minami knew that kind of man. Her father was the exact same way with his company, She was actually thankful she sold the place or else it would destroy her as well.

Sayaka nodded away in thoughts of the man, but remembered the reason why she asked to speak to Minami. It wasn't just to catch up but to help her with something. "By the way," She took a sip of her water before continuing. "I wanted your help with something."

"Whats that?" Minami placed her elbows on the table.

"I want to get Yui and Haruka back together." Sayaka stated. Minami, let out a sigh she knew that task would be as difficult as getting a Tom and Jerry to be friends without hurting one another. "Please, I know what I need to do."

Minami thought about it, it was a bad idea but she as willing to try and help. "Fine. If this goes bad I will bail and head home to my wife."
"I'll even pay your ticket." Sayaka laughed.

--

Miyuki agreed to Yuko's request, even with not much of an explanation as to why, but to have Haruna return to the fashion industry was actually exciting. She picked up her phone and gave her a call, asking her to come meet her at her office. And when Yuko arrived home to find Haruna sitting on the couch, leg crossed and an upset look, Yuko gulped knowing she was in trouble but she had to try.

"Miyuki offered me job..." Haruna said.

Yuko forced a smile. "Really? Thats great! for when?"

"Fashion week." Haruna replied. "She wants me to model in the runway."

"Are you getting a job in modeling here?" Yuko asked, making her way to the bedroom and change.

Haruna didn't answer, she sucked on her bottom lip, holding back her anger from her wife. She stood from the couch and made her way to the bedroom where Yuko was changing, facing away from her. Yuko was waiting for her to reply, she really wanted to hear her say, yes she was going to stay but instead, "I'm going to do it." Haruna leaned against the door frame. "But after I'm requesting a transfer."

Yuko didn't dare turn, she wanted no more arguments , no more of things being said that can hurt one another. Instead she inhaled and slowly exhaled, "Good.
Then, I'll request one as well."

Haruna pushed off the door frame, shocked at her wife's response.

--

By the evening, Sayaka was heading back to Haruka's When she got a call from Miyuki. She didnt want to pick up, but she had to, the two have not spoken to awhile and Sayaka has been doing her best to ignore her so she wouldn't let her down about not going for the week before Fashion week, but she couldn't keep ignoring her.

She picked up the called, "Hey, Miyuki." She tried to sound happy.

"Have you spoken to Haruka?" She asked.

"No," Sayaka worried, did she go out with Haruu when she asked her not to? Was there another scandal?

"She told me she was returning to Paris."

"What?" Sayaka furrowed, asking the driver to get her to her location fast.

On the day her father left, Haruka was left with Haruu. The man had agreed with Haruu's parents about the two dating for the publicity, although he made it clear it would be once he was going to let Haruka back to work. They settled with Haruu watching over Haruka instead of Sayaka, this was mostly Haruka's doing. She convinced her father he would need Sayaka with him for the week to prepare, also it wasn't fair to take this week from her when Sayaka had been working hard for him. And so, Sayaka was off with him to France while Haruka stayed with Haruu, just as she planned.
"Are you sure about this?" Haruu asked Haruka. The two were in her bedroom packing up Haruka's luggage for her trip back to Paris. She was folding some of clothes and neatly placing them in the bag.
"Are you going to keep asking me that, all the way to France? Sayaka and Miyuki are doing it as well." Haruka was tired of being asked this, she was sure of what she was doing. Positive this was going to end the scandals and she was going back to work.
Haruu sighed, watching her pack up while she sat arranging some of the folded clothes, "We want to make sure you've actually thought about this."
Haruka glanced up at her, "We?"
Haruu glanced up as well. "Yeah," she sat up in bed, "Sayaka and I."
Haruka scoffed, a smile appearing on her face, "I didn't know the two of you were friends now." Every time Haruu and Sayaka were around each other the two wouldn't speak a word to each other, it was mostly Sayaka's fault with her glaring.
"We aren't, but we both are thinking the same thing and that is to keep you out of anymore trouble." Haruu replied, returning to helling Haruka. "By the way, your underwear is cute." She took one of Haruka's panties and held it up, admiring it.
Haruka snatched it from her hold, her cheeks turning slightly red. "Stop! Help me pack we leave tomorrow." She said, throwing the underwear into the bag. Haruu could only grin, she liked to tease the girl. "Have you packed?" Haruka asked.
Haruu shook her head, placing a small tower of pants beside the luggage so Haruka could pack them in. "I will tonight."
"Do you need help?" Haruka continued to pack.
Haruu shook her head again. "No, I can do it myself. Besides, you are not allowed out."
Haruka let out a growl. "Are you sure you and Sayaka aren't best friends now?"
Haruu laughed and the two continued to pack. Haruu watched the girl, hoping that she was doing the right thing, even if it was just to get back to work. Was it worth doing what she had plan.

---

Ever since Miyuki offered her the modeling job for fashion week, Haruna was on a strict diet, making sure she was back to her model figure by the time fashion week begins. Yuko, never liked her diets, but she wasn't going to complain the two were slowly getting back to their old routines, like Yuko getting kisses from the taller woman. It was thanks to the fact that Yuko told her wife she would be willing to move back to Japan, although she was going to sacrifice a lot and hoped- no prayed, she wouldn't lose her wife.
"What about this?" Haruna asked as she ran out of the closet with a long strapless blue dress on its hanger, holding it over her body. Yuko looked up at her, she was sitting in the middle of a made bed going over some paperwork for her patients to soon be transferred to some other therapist she highly recommends. She looked at her up and down, shaking her head. "I love the red one better." She returned to her papers and Haruna pouted.
Turning around she hung the dress back in the closet then turned to make her way to her wife, jumping on the bed onto her knees in front of the shorter woman. "Don't ignore me." She whined.
Yuko glanced up, scratching her eyebrow, "I'm not ignoring you. I told you the red one looks nice." She replied like she didn't care much, her eyes dropping back to the papers.
Haruna, didn't like it when Yuko was focused on something else rather than her, especially when she knew something was on her mind. "Look at me." She took the papers from her hand.
"That is for work, Haruna." Yuko tried to reach for them, getting upset at her wife.
Haruna pulled the papers back, keeping it from Yuko's reach. "What is wrong? And I know it isn't work."
Yuko didn't answer her instead she just said nothing was wrong and tried to reach for her paperwork again, but Haruna held them farther back. "We were beginning to speak again and now you're so focused on something and I want to know."
Yuko furrowed, "it's nothing." She pushed off the bed, and again, tried to grab the papers but Haruna flew back launching herself off the bed with Yuko following trying to save her. They landed on the floor, Yuko on top of Haruna and the two laughed.
"Are you okay?" Yuko asked while she tried holding her laughter back.
Haruna have a nod and in seconds they became quiet, staring into each other's eyes. Haruna had always found Yuko to be beautiful, with her hair loose, dangling from above her. She reached up, pushing the woman's hair back, taking a hold on the side of her head, keeping the hair from falling. Haruna really wanted her to kiss her. Yuko, fixated more on Haruna's features, her lips, eyes, nose, she wanted to remember every single bit of her face. "Will you love me even if you hate me?"
Haruna was taken back by the question, she was expecting for her to kiss her like usual. "What? I don't understand."
Yuko rephrased the question. "Will you still love me even after finding something out that may cause you to hate me?"
Haruna caught the glistening in her eyes, she knew she was on the verge of tears and Haruna wasn't sure as to why she would ask this or why she was about to cry. But she knew one thing, she loved her to death. "I will always love you, no matter what."
"Promise?" Yuko asked.
"Why are you asking me this? Tell me what is wrong." Haruna responded.
"Promise me." Yuko demanded.
"I promise." She replied. Yuko leaned down capturing her lips, glad to hear her promise. Although, Haruna was left worrying.

--

"I. Don't. Want. To. Go." Yui was repeating over and over to Minami she didn't want to attend the stupid fashion show Sayaka invited them to, which was part of Sayaka's plan.
"We have to go," Minami cried, "I've never been and I heard its a big event! Sayaka paid for the room for us and everything."
"Let me think... No!" Yui, made her way to her bedroom, grabbing her running shoes and Minami followed, pleading for her to go.
"I don't want to be on my own in France, and you've been there."
Yui was getting frustrated at Minami, she had been asking her for days to go. Yui tried to ignore her, putting her shoes on and tightening the laces but Minami wasn't giving up. "Please!"
Yui finished her laces, glared up saying, "Why would I want to go to an event that will only remind me of her?" Meaning Haruka. "Anyways," she continued, "Why is Sayaka inviting me, she already knows I don't want to be anywhere near her."
Minami sighed, "okay, she invited me. Only me." She lied, "I thought you would want to join me at least. You know, go explore the city, have some while we are there. And," she emphasized, "Atsuko said you have to make sure I'm having fun!"
Yui scowled. "Don't bring Atsuko in this."
Minami felt bad for using Atsuko, but she knew Yui would listen. "Too late! I already talked to her anyways, she told me to tell you to call her if you deny."
With shoes laced up, Yui was ready to run out she didn't want to listen to Her friend anymore. "I'll call her later then. I'm going for a run." She walked out the door in shorts, a jacket, and her keys. Minami felt defeated, but she knew Yui would end up going, she had to.

For the last week Yui has gone back to running in the mornings and afternoons. It helped her clear her mind at times but other times she would think of Haruka and Sayaka, recalling that night. Today wasn't any different, her mind thought back to the night Haruka had her accident, after she found out about her and Sayaka, she remembered the article she read about Haruka, she remembered finally seeing her after months, and she remembers Haruka with someone else, these were the thoughts that always rushed into her mind as she ran, sweat running down her forehead, legs aching, and breathing becoming heavy.
She ran, down the busy streets, passing by people who she didn't bother to look at, she would only look ahead, distracted by her thoughts. Approaching the corner of a building, Yui went for the turn only to be blindsided by someone and the two were knocked to the ground. The people around them saw this, yet no one bothered to offer the two help. Yui, took a hold of her shoulder which she had hit when she crashed into the person.
"I'm sorry." Yui apologized first, not even glancing up at the young woman she ran into, literally.
"Yui."
She finally looked up from her shoulder, finding Rie sitting on the floor across from her. The last person she had expected to see again. "Rie..." She muttered. Yui quickly got on her feet, looking down at Rie as she still held her shoulder.
Rie only looked up at her, covering her eyes from the brightest that shined above them. It took awhile for either one of them to react, they only stared at one another until Yui finally offered her a hand. Pulling her up, Rie groaned in pain, the two had crashed into each other hard. "I'm sorry." Yui apologized again, in a smaller voice.
"It's okay." Rie replied in the same timid voice. "I wasn't looking where I was going. I'm kind of in a rush."
Yui, still holding her hand over her shoulder, glanced up from looking at the floor. "I should let you go, then." She was ready to run off but Rie caught her by her arm.
"Wait," Yui turned to her when she heard her speak. "How are you?" Rie asked.
"I'm alright," Yui replied. She gently tugged her arm back, wanting Rie to let go. It did hurt Rie a little, causing her to drop her head. But she quickly picked it back up, "I hope you are doing better. I have to go now."
Yui watched her turn around and walk the direction she had been running from. Yui tried to reach for her, "I thought-" Rie halted and turned. "I thought you were in Paris already."
"That's where I'm heading to now. I... Overslept." She looked away from Yui, not wanting her to see her directly in the eyes. Yui noticed this, noticed she was hiding something she was about to ask her why she overslept when she wasn't one to do that, when someone came shouting for her.
"Rie!" She called out, running at full speed. "You forgot this." The young woman handed her a portfolio once she stopped in front of her. She looked back at anYui and Yui caught who she was, the waitress at the coffee shop.
"Ah, thank you." Rie hid her face from the two, this wasn't suppose to happen.
"Hi," the coffee shop waitress turned to Yui. "I'm Sashihara Rino. Just call me Sasshi." She greeted with an introduction. Yui looked at her up and down and Sasshi did the same. "I know you! You are-" she stopped herself turning back to Rie, "oh..."
Yui had an idea now as to why Rie overslept. "So, you and her."
Rie and Sasshi looked at Yui, but Sasshi quickly turned back to Rie, "I'll let you go. Have a safe flight."
"I'll call." Rie faintly said. Sasshi quickly turned away and left, she knew she wasn't suppose to be there.
The other two women watched her go just until she was out of sight. " I never meant for it to happen..." Rie said, stepping closer to Yui.
"It's alright, we are on a break right?" Yui's clear tone of anger being heard.
"Yui, I'm sor-"
"Save it."
"Yui!" Rie stopped her from running off again. "You wouldn't be happy with me..."
She turned, "how do you know?"
"Because I could always see it. In your eyes it wasn't me you were in love with but someone else." Rie confessed, "I always knew we wouldn't last."
"So, you gave up on me and slept with her?" Yui questioned, quite harshly.
"No. I let you go so you could be with Haruka. She is the one you thought about each day, the one I could see you clearly thought about. I swear I only broke this because I cared for you."
Yui didn't say another word, she only shook her head as she looked at her, like she was disappointed Rie gave up on them. Yui was going to try to forget Haruka, she was willing to try to get Rie back, however, if she actually put thought into it Rie was right, Haruka had always been on her mind. Always. "I hope you two live happily." She said before turning, running away before Rie could stop her again. Except Rie didn't try to stop her, she had a flight to catch in two hours to Paris, and Yui wouldn't want to listen to her, it had to take some miracle for Yui to notice why she broke it off.

--

The flight to Paris was long. Sayaka was up extra early and at the airport just before sunrise in Japan to catch her flight along with the team and her boss. As soon as she arrived they had a roll call to make sure everyone was there. When Rie's name was called out everyone looked around, including Sayaka, and didn't find her. She said she would call the co-worker. Sayaka heard her phone ring and ring going to voicemail. They guessed either, A: something was wrong or B: she overslept.
Sayaka sent a message just before one of the other fashionistas recalled that she had left with someone the night before, raising his eyebrows if you know what he means. Sayaka's immediate thought was Yui, the two had hooked up. But she doubt that. Still, she sent a quick message to Minami waking her from her sleep only to be replied that Yui was fast asleep with her. So, the. Sayaka thought who Rie could have run off to.
By the time they were up in the sky, Sayaka received a reply from Rie, freaking out to her that was extremely late. Sayaka even joke to her how late she was but quickly went to explaining she could switch her flight for the afternoon and leave then. They had a partial week off so Rie would not be missing much. Relieved, Rie thanked Sayaka for the help and she would meet up with the team in Paris.
When they arrived to France the time change blew Sayaka off, they had arrived early in the morning in Paris.
In the airport her boss along with the workers were greeted by personal drivers, but first they needed their baggage which was busy rotating on the conveyer. While everyone got their belongings, they waited on Sayaka's bag which hadn't passed by, luckily it was still busy instead of standing embarrassed that there were no baggages on the conveyer. Round and round the luggage went and not a single one was hers. Sayaka could see the. Impatiently waiting for her, tired and wanting sleep. Her boss was already being attacked by the paparazzi.
"Why don't you guys head out. I'll go ask about my bag and meet everyone at the hotel." She told one of the young men in the team. "Make sure to notify Shimazaki."
The man gave a nod and the whole crew headed out, quickly telling their boss. The older man turned to Sayaka, quickly asking if she will be alright. She responded with a nod and turned to head to services.
French wasn't her language but English was good enough for her. Walking up to services she informed them her bag wasn't out yet, she had arrived thirty minutes earlier and no luggage was claimed. Giving her some information, she stood waiting, looking around the busy airport in the morning. It was still unbelievable she was in Paris, the city of love. A little different from what she imagined, but it was only the airport. She roamed her eyes around, looking at the foreigners and listening to the language being spoken, caught up in the rapid atmosphere. Suddenly her eyes landed on a young woman, someone who looked familiar. The young woman looked around, then behind her, Sayaka's driver who waited for her, pointed out to Sayaka.
"Mi-"
"We found your bag. It will be out in awhile." The woman interrupted her, causing her to turn away from the other young woman.
"T-Thank you." Sayaka turned back to find her, instead she found her wrapping her arms around her.
"I'm glad you are still here. Welcome to Paris, Sayaka." She muttered in the hug.
"Miyuki..." Sayaka smiled, wrapping her arms around the thin waist. She felt her heart warm up, the butterflies appear, and her face turning slightly red she had to hide her face in the crook of Miyuki's neck. She was overall happy to finally meet with the girl. "It's been too long."

--

The flight was about an hour away, they would arrive late but that was the plan. All so no one would spot them arriving to France. Haruka had her baggage set, waiting for Haruu to come pick her up. Haruka took her white face mask, some black Dior shades to cover her eyes, and a black cap. It was obvious she was hiding herself but it didn't matter, it was only as long as she wasn't recognize as she made her way out the apartment, into a taxi, and through the airport to board her plan on first class where no one gave a second look to see who you were. Self-centered people sat in first class according to Haruka.
Set to head back to Paris, she waited for Haruu patiently by the door with a checklist in hand crossing out what she had packed up. Everything seems to be accounted for and Haruka was ready, and with the sound of a knock she turned to the door checking through the peephole if it was indeed Haruu. T'was her. Haruka opened the door to her friend asking if she had everything. Haruka replied with a confident nod while Haruu finally caught to her face covered up.
"It is Haruka, right?" She joked.
Haruka's head tilted and hip stuck out to the side, a stance Haruu knew to well from her friends when she joked to them. It only caused her to grin and Haruka to sighed. "im ready. Lets go." She said, her voice muffled by the face mask. Haruu took a hold of her belongings and rolled it out the door with Haruka following behind shutting and locking the door. "Aren't you going to be noticed?"
Haruu took a cap from the back of her pocket and stuck it on her head. "Done."
"That's it?" Haruka asked.
Haruu shrugged to her as they made their way to the elevator, baggage rolling along through the quiet hallway. "I don't get recognized much."

As soon as they arrived to the private car that Haruu rented, they jumped in, settled on the black leather seats, and Haruka took out some extra sunglasses she packed in her carry-on. "Here." She turned to Haruu who turned to see what she was handing her. Without a word, Haruka placed the glasses on for her. "You look good." She smiled, adjusting the expensive shades on her.
Haruu couldn't help but blush, the young woman was inches from her. "T-thanks." She stuttered. She could not tell if Haruka smiled until she caught her sunglasses rise a little from her cheeks pushing up on them. Haruka settled back in her seat, turning to view put the window in the quiet, now, car ride. Haruu took her shades off again, glancing down at the floor of the car, she worried over Haruka and her plan. Turning to her, she asked one last time. "Are you sure?"
Haruka turned to her and Haruu reached to remove her glasses. "We are in the car you'll be fine without them for now."
Haruka was fine with it, she could clearly see now Haruu's serious expression and she gave a nod. "I am sure about this. I want to find who is causing these scandals and I want my job back. My father can't keep me locked up like a bird in a cage forever."
Haruu noticed her serious expression, mostly from looking into her eyes. She knew the girl was intense. Handing her the glasses, she settled back on her seat, "alright."
Haruka watched her turn to look out the window and felt bad for dragging her along. "If you don't-"
"I want to help," Haruu glanced back at her, taking her hand, "I don't want you to think I'm backing out."
"I know, but if you-"
"No if's, alright? I'm here to help." She smiled, assuring her she was on for this plan.
Haruka tighten her grip on Haruu's hand and they didn't let go, until they arrived to the airport.

--

Yui returned from her run, she had been gone almost the whole day. She entered her home, dragging her feet through the door only to find Minami standing there waiting for her. Yui looked up at her realizing the older woman had been worried about her. But instead of saying anything to one another, Yui walked on by her and to her room. Minami followed her, wanting to know what was wrong, why had she been gone the whole day without letting her know.
"What happened?" Was all she asked.
Yui, who took out some clothes from her drawers and stacked them on the bed, only hummed. Minami watched her, still in her workout clothes she had one this morning, going back and forth from her drawer to her bed.
"Yui," she gave her a stern voice.
"I'll go." Yui replied, barely heard by her friend.
"To Paris?" Minami asked surprised.
Yui gave a nod as she continued to grab clothes then to her closet for her bag. She took it out and threw it on the bed, packing up what she needed.
"Why?" She was asked.
"I don't know..." Yui answered, "I just do." She didn't know why she should go, she just felt like she should, even after finding Rie this morning and knowing she would be there. "When do we leave?"
Minami walked up to her from the doorway and helped her pack. A moment passed and she finally answered her with a small smile, "in a week."
Yui glared up at her. "And I'm packing now?"
Minami laughed, the serious atmosphere died down around them, and Yui relaxed now. It was Minami who always helped her.

The view from Miyuki's window was beautiful to Sayaka. She stood right at the glass looking down and the street below her, sticking her forehead against the window pane so she could feel the little rush of adrenaline; heights were never her thing. While doing this, Miyuki was in the kitchen watching her with a smile on her face, she was happy to see Sayaka excited, well, her being here in Paris could cause the smile.
Miyuki was preparing something small for Sayaka to eat, the flight was long and she must be tired and hungry, even if she didn't seem like it now. Finally taking her eyes off the other woman that stood by the window, Miyuki turned to cook and in that moment, Sayaka pushed off the window, turning to see what Miyuki was up to. Listening to the sizzle of what she was cooking, Sayaka took a whiff and knew what she was making, it did cause her stomach to grumble. She ate in the plane, however hunger overcame her again.
Sayaka quietly, almost tip-toeing, made her way to the kitchen just to take a good look at Miyuki while she cooked, always curious to how she looked. She did recall her cooking was good back when they were sleeping together, before Haruka and this whole mess, only she would receive a quick breakfast before work.

"What are you doing?" Sayaka appeared surprising Miyuki.

Almost dropping the spatula, Miyuki placed a hand over her heart and turned to Sayaka, "You! Don't do that!" She held back her laughter once she caught Sayaka snickering, she found all to childish but cute.

"I'm sorry," Sayaka chuckled an apology and leaned against the counter, right next to Miyuki. "What are you making? Is it for me?"

Miyuki smiled, "it is. It's almost done. If you want you can go sit down."

Sayaka shook her head. "I'll help. Where are the plates?"

Miyuki smiled, taking a side step to her and pointing at the cabinet above the two. Sayaka returned a smile and turned to open the door and reach for the plates. Miyuki only took a small step away from her but she still felt Sayaka's body stretch out, reaching the plates. Once she had them, she placed them on the counter and turned back to Miyuki with a smile, almost a grin from finding the young woman so close to her.
"What else do you need?" Sayaka asked almost in a whisper.

Miyuki only stared at her, not replying to her only gulping. It had been long since she's felt Sayaka's lips. Sayaka without noticing began to lean towards Miyuki, feeling some sort of tug towards her. She got closer and closer to her, just inches apart from the luscious lips until Miyuki pulled away. "The food is burning." She said.
Sayaka jerked her head back surprised at the girls comment. Miyuki turned back to the food and Sayaka mentally smashed her head against the cabinet door, if she could reach it. She knew what she had done to take away that comfort they felt seconds ago, the comfort the two had between them since they met at the airport, something she believed wouldn't be there but it was. Sayaka knew Miyuki wanted to take her time with this relationship, they've talked about it, how they will start off with dating here in Paris and wait 'til she returns to Japan. But now, Sayaka felt like she ruined that.

Miyuki on the other hand, felt it was her fault, for giving her that look of wanting to kiss her, which she did, but she still worried. What if Sayaka only did this to forget about Haruka. It was a thought that's never left her mind. She served the food and handed the plate to Sayaka, she could feel a little distance from her. She never wanted that. Still, Sayaka gave her a smile, commenting how delicious the food looked and ignoring what happened a minute ago. Or so she believed, it was only taking over Sayaka's mind as well.

i didn't want to write sayamilky at the end that way but I just couldn't do it the way I wanted to and I wanted to post this chapter. Hopefully
It's still going good for all of you.

The night was cool, the streets empty, and the city lights lit the lonely street Haruka walked in. It was peaceful, freely enjoying the night on her own with no one in sight bombarding her with questions and snapping pictures. Such calmness caused her to think and feel that this was too good. She took a look around her finding tall buildings, a cobble road, and lamp post that lit the road, it looked as if she was in Paris in a lonely area, unsure as to how she got there. Suddenly, she felt a breeze kick up and she looked towards the direction it was coming from, catching a figure at the end of the lit road. Darkness could swallow up this figure from behind it.

Haruka felt terrified, not wanting to go near him but the minute he took one step towards her from afar, Haruka's heart raced. She turned to run only to be caught by someone else. It made Haruka jump away but this person took a hold of her, throwing their arms around her and tightly holding her. Haruka had that sense of peace again like before when she was alone. She wanted to look up, catch who made her feel so protected, and when she pushed away to find the person she desired most to see, she awoke.

Haruka, still dazed, looked at the pillow beside her finding it empty, reaching to feel the cool white sheet. She wished the dream was real, wishing she never woke up. Although the shadow man did scare her the person who held her, protecting her, made that scary figure disappear and all her fears. With her just holding her, looking down at her it was all perfect again and she wished to have stayed asleep forever. Sadly, reality kicked in.

"Haruka, breakfast is ready."

She dragged herself to the dining table to find Miyuki serving a plate of breakfast for Haruu who sat at the table eagerly waiting for Haruka and Miyuki to sit so she can begin eating. Miyuki was placing another plate on the table catching Haruka's expression as she was dragging her feet to the table. Miyuki approached her asking if she was alright. Haruka was shaken from her thoughts, glancing up at her friend.

"I'm alright." She weakly smiled, taking a step to the side to go around Miyuki to get to the table.

Miyuki took the same side step, blocking her from her path. "I know that look, Haruka. Was it another nightmare?" She worried.

Haruka shook her head, looking up at her with round eyes filled with sadness. "Actually," She looked over her friends shoulder to Haruu, making sure she wouldn't hear her. moving closer she whispering to her friend. "It was a dream, a nice one..." Her mind flashing to the person.

Miyuki, caught a small tug upwards at the end of her lips. "So, no more nightmares?"

Haruka's smile went away and she shrugged, "I don't know. This is the first time in a long time I didn't have a nightmare. You would think I would have them the most with this week coming up."

Miyuki placed a hand over her friends arm, "Maybe, it's a good sign."

"I hope." Haruka sighed.

"Can I eat?" The two turned to Haruu who had been patiently waiting on the two. She had her fork in one hand ready to eat. Haruka smiled, she found her very cute like this.

Miyuki told her to go ahead and eat, also telling Haruka to sit for her breakfast. "I have to go." She said after seating Haruka. "Fashion week is starting tomorrow and the office has been going crazy." Miyuki didn't take a bite of any food, instead she took her purse ready to head head out to work when Haruka stopped her.

"Wait, you didn't even eat." She took her hand.  This past week they have been staying in Miyuki's, her friend seemed to be a little distant from her and Haruka really hoped she didn't do anything wrong, unless it had to do with what she had planned this week.

"I'll grab a yogurt to go." Miyuki assured her. "I'll see you later."

The two staying at the apartment watched her go, Haruka a little sad her friend left just like that. She turned back in her seat to find Haruu enjoying the meal as she smiled up at her. "Eat up, I think we can sneak out for awhile today."

Haruka smiled at the idea of some freedom for the day. Although it was a risk with so much media in Paris that was covering the event coming up, yet Haruka gave no care to it now, a little time out would be good, she thought.

Miyuki rushed to the office, she didn't want to be late and yet she didn't want to go in for work, afraid to bump into Sayaka. She felt bad for the almost kiss; leading Sayaka on after telling her she wanted to take things slow. The whole week she tried to avoid her, however in their line of work they were always around each other. Lucky for her though it was always with their boss and a group of people where discussing that day was not possible. Sayaka had asked her over to her hotel room but Miyuki denied using Haruka as an excuse; babysitting her. Sayaka would have invited herself to Miyuki's apartment but with Haruka there, with Haruu, she knew it was a bad idea.

Miyuki pretty much ran to her office, already late, finding her secretary getting up to give her any messages or news or remind her she was late.
"You are late."

"Only by ten minutes." Miyuki sighed, she didn't know why she was rushing when she was the boss here.

"Mr.Shimazaki is in there along with Sayaka." The man working for her grinned, raising his brows at her. The young man could even see something between the two and he always called her out for it.

Miyuki rolled her eyes at him, ordered him to get back to his desk and pick up the phone that was ringing, and she made her way into her office to find the two she had been told were in. "Sorry, I am late."

"That's alright." The owner of this fashion enterprise said, standing up from Miyuki's seat. "We were going over all the papers and I realized," He placed one piece of paper down, "We have hired a new model. Well, she is someone we have worked with although since when are you hiring models, Miyuki?"

Miyuki frowned, was she in trouble for doing so? She took the paper and found it was Haruna's profile picture with her information. "Well, she will be working here under me. And she has worked for you before, I don't see why it's a problem." She placed it back down.

The man sighed, focused on the picture. Miyuki and Sayaka caught this and both glanced at each other but quickly Miyuki looked down, then back up at the man.

"If it's a problem I can talk to her, but she really wants to come back."

The man hummed, looking back up at Miyuki. "No, it's alright." he seemed genuinely upset and Miyuki didn't really know why. "Moving on," He continued, "Sayaka, did Rie finish setting up the clothes?"

"Yeah," she spoke up, "She has them prepared downstairs."

"Okay, tell everyone to pack up and we will have a run through for the week." He said, taking his binder ready to leave the office and head downstairs. Miyuki
followed, but before she made it out the door Sayaka caught her arm.

"Miyuki," she sadly frowned up at her, "I want to talk."

"Not now." Miyuki softly replied.

"I'm sorry!" she blurted. She was tired of her avoiding her the whole week she only wanted to spend time with her and what she tried to do only made her plans go down the drain. "I'm sorry for almost kissing you, It was stupid of me. I know you want to take things slow and I ruined that, I didn't mean to." She took her hand, holding it into hers. "I promise you I won't do that again, until you want me to."

"That is the thing..." Miyuki spoke up, "I did want you to, but..." She looked down at her hand between both of hers, holding it gently.

"But?" Sayaka leaned down to catch her eyes, wanting her to look at her when she continued.

"I'm afraid."

"Of what?"

"I am afraid you are still in love with Haruka." Miyuki confessed. It felt like a weight off her shoulders.
Sayaka furrowed, slightly taking a step back."Miyuki, I-" Before finishing what she wanted to say, Miyuki's assistant came in announcing that Mr.Shimazaki was waiting of the two and he didn't seem happy. Miyuki retracted her hand from Sayaka's, turning to leave and not seeing Sayaka reach out for her before she left.

"Come on, I'm going to take you to a different part of the city. No one will catch us." Haruu told Haruka. The two snuck their way out the building they were staying at and made their way out, hailing a taxi. Quickly the two jumped in.

Haruka was nervous to be out, now that she actually thought about it. If whoever was following her, then they would post it all over the media and her father would find out she was in Paris, stopping her from doing anything crazy; like show up to the runway show unannounced and announce she was taking over the company. Though terrified, Haruu convinced her, telling her she was going to show her a calm, media free area. somewhere private for her to enjoy a walk and know she would not be recognized.

As soon as they arrived the two hopped out the taxi. Haruka caught a small road, similar to the one in her dream. She felt calm, like she could enjoy her day there. "See, isn't it nice?" Haruu asked.

Haruka glanced around finding it to look similar to a small town out of the city. It was beautiful.

"Come," Haruu said, taking Haruka's hand. Haruka quickly felt the warmth of her hand and glanced down at it. Haruu caught her, ready to apologize and retract her hand, however, Haruka tightly gripped onto it as she stared at it, interlacing her fingers. Her dream flashed before her eyes and she looked up, her heart racing, as if she was going to find the person from that dream.

Haruu smiled at her, "Let's go."

Haruka stared. it was almost like her dream. She felt Haruu give a small tug to get her walking and Haruka smiled up at her, her feet moving as an excited Haruu lead her to a small shop. This was the same feeling she had in her dream; a Peaceful one. Maybe, the one in her dream was only representing Haruu and she was the one Haruka was suppose to be with. Afterall, Haruu made her happy.

---------

Fashion week has begun and everyone was there to see it, from fashion designers, celebrities from all over the world, and people who were fans of the fashion scene. It was all amazing and the three girls who have worked so hard to witness such an incredible week, watched people in awe as they walked the carpet. What they enjoyed the most was watching the runway shows with top designers they look up to sitting behind them, in front of them, or even off to the side yet they got excited.

While Miyuki sat with her assistant watching the runway shows, Sayaka sat on the other side with Rie, from time to time glancing over to Miyuki. It was like this for the next two days, until finally, she was able to get Miyuki alone at one of the after parties they were invited to.

"Miyuki," Sayaka approached her once she was alone, handing her a drink. "How... are you?"

"I'm good." Miyuki smiled at her.

Sayaka didn't like it, it wasn't a real smile, the ones she use to get. "I wanted to tell you-"

"Don't, Sayaka. I don't want to know. Not now. I just want to enjoy the rest of this week." Miyuki admitted. She did want to enjoy fashion week, she was waiting a long time for it. If Sayaka were to say what she was thinking then the whole week would be spoiled.

"Alright," Sayaka smiled at her, shaking away all the tension the two were building. If Miyuki wanted to enjoy this she was going to make sure she did. Anything to make her happy. "Hi, I'm Sayanee, I will be your helper for this evening. Anything you ask, I will do." Sayaka stuck a hand out as if she was greeting herself to her for the first time.

Miyuki couldn't help but laugh, trying to hide it by covering her mouth. It only warmed Sayaka's heart to watch her smile, laugh, and finally see the Miyuki she has been wanting to see. Miyuki did feel the tension dissipate between the two, letting her thoughts from before stay locked up for the moment, or for the rest of the event, just as long as she got to enjoy the last two days with Sayaka just as she wanted to.

"Come, I will get you those free goodie bags they are giving out." Sayaka stuck an arm out.

Miyuki hesitated to take it, but as soon as she did it made her happy. The same went for Sayaka and the two just enjoyed their whole night together, not caring if they had more to do the next day. They partied all night together, glad to finally spend it together.

Haruna had prepared herself for the last day of Fashion week. She stayed at home doing her usual routine; eat properly, walk (in high heels), take care of her skin, Anything she needed to do to go back to looking like she use to when she modeled. She didn't have to do much she still had a model figure.
All while she prepared herself for her return to modeling, Yuko watched her, praying Haruna would back out. She didn't want to hurt her by keeping a huge secret from her. But, she didn't want her to find out about her past. Yuko had thought about telling her everything, It kept her up at night, however the thought of losing her ran over and over in her mind knowing that will be what hurts Yuko the most, losing the love of her life.

That night, Yuko walked up from behind, wrapping her arms around the taller woman, feeling her cool wet skin hit her cheek. Haruna had finished bathing and she came out naked looking for some pajamas. "Yuko, what are you doing?" She smiled.
Yuko, only planted her lips on her back, trailing kisses up to her shoulder having to stand on her tippy toes. "Nothing," She planted another kiss. "I wanted to kiss you."

Haruna turned to face her, catching a toothy grin. "You have been acting weird these past few days."

Yuko ignored her, returning to hugging her naked body and kissing her collarbone up to her cheek. Haruna only laughed, she was ticklish when Yuko trailed kisses up her neck. Yuko loved her laugh.

"Can I change?" Haruna asked, smiling down at Yuko. Yuko shook her head, reaching for a kiss on the lips, only Haruna backed away denying her from any kisses. "Let me change."

Yuko was not going to give up. She pressed her up against her, lifting her off the ground, and carrying her to their bed. For a small woman she was strong and in all honesty Haruna loved how strong she was. Once she was dropped on the bed, Yuko captured her lips and Haruna didn't resist tasting her partners lips, she loved her kisses as well, though in public she shy's away from kisses it is too embarrassing for her. The kiss began lovingly then roughly between the two, unable to keep their hands off each other.

"Yuko," Haruna gasped, "We have been doing this everyday."

"So?" Yuko asked, capturing her wife's lips again.

"So," Haruna spoke in between kisses, "I. am. worried."

"About?" Yuko asked again, breathless between kisses as well.

Haruna tried to speak again but the kissing wasn't stopping, and she enjoyed it. However, with her wife being strange she really wanted to know what was wrong even if she had agreed before she wouldn't ask anymore questions. Haruna pushed her away, "Yuko!"

Yuko, looked down at her, panting. "What?"

Haruna was going to reach up and ask again what was wrong, and this time Yuko knew she would crack and spill everything, except Haruna only said, "I'm tired. I want to change and go to sleep."

Yuko, with a sad look forced a smile and said, "Okay." Jumping right off of her and out of bed, heading to the bathroom. Haruna sat up watching the shorter woman wishing she would just tell her what was bothering her. All Haruna wanted was her to be happy and she did not know how to do that without pushing her for answers.

The day went really well for Haruka and Haruu. No one followed them, no one stared at them, no one seemed to know who the two were. They freely enjoyed their day in Paris, shopping and having some delicious food in some small restaurant where the waitress believed the two were a couple and gave them a small dessert with one spoon to share. Haruu was about to ask for another spoon when Haruka reached across the table with a spoon full of the dessert for her to eat. Haruu looked at it then back up at Haruka finding her opening her mouth for her to take. Happily Haruu took the bite finding it very delicious. She watched how Haruka took a bite as well from the same spoon, causing Haruu to blush, something that rarely happens to her.

They continued to enjoy their day with a nice stroll around. Then by the time the sun was beginning to set the pair headed back home, sneaking their way back into the hotel. Haruka took a fine grasp onto Haruu's arm who happily lead the way to the elevators. While, it took them to their floor, Haruka leaned her head against Haruu's shoulder. Haruu swore the girl could hear her heart beating strongly against her chest.

"D-did you have fun?" Haruu stuttered.

She heard Haruka sigh, "It was one of the best day's I've had in so long."

Haruu glanced to catch a smile on Haruka's face and she felt like celebrating for making the girl very happy. "I'm glad. Hopefully soon we finally get to actually go out together without worrying." Suddenly she felt Haruka leave her shoulder and she turned to catch the smile gone and her eyes looking up at her. "I mean hang out." Haruu worried she said the wrong thing.

Haruka's eyes dropped, facing the ground in the quiet elevator. "I want to try..."

Haruu heard her softly speak and she leaned closer to her to hear her. "What?"

Glancing back up, Haruka said, "I want to try dating again... I want to try going out on a date with you."

Haruu was taken back. "Are you sure?"

"Today was fun, every moment with you has been great." She smiled, "I don't see why we shouldn't. You've made me forget all the bad and you've gone out your way to help me and today I realized you only bring peace to my life after all the chaos."

Though, Haruu watched a smile on her face, she caught tears at the brimm of her eyes.
"Haruu, I know it's sudden but let's do it. Let's tell our parents we will date and not just for their publicity stunt."

"But..." Haruu wanted to say something but had no idea how. It was sudden and she was happy to hear this from her, but she herself wasn't sure if this was the best idea. Haruka watched her, waiting for her to reply, taking her hand into her's. "Haruka, I-"

Just then the elevator doors open the two not turning to see if someone was standing there, they only stared into one anothers eyes. Haruu did fall for Haruka, since they were kids, but this was all too fast, not to mention it felt like it was the wrong timing.

"What's going on?"

The two turned, finding Sayaka standing in front of them, outside the elevator, glaring at the two. Haruka saw the anger in her eyes and she quickly let Haruu's hand go. "Sayaka." she said.
Sayaka looked away shaking her head, "Nevermind." She turned to leave and the elevator doors began to close. Haruka stuck an arm out for them to open again and chased after Sayaka while Haruu tried to follow but stopped in her tracks, watching Haruka chase after Sayaka.

"Sayaka," She called out. The other woman only ignored her as she rushed to the emergency stairway. Launching the door open and rushing down each step. Haruka tried to keep up, looking down at each step she took so she wouldn't miss one. But she missed one.
Sayaka heard her scream and she turned at the last step, catching her from falling to the ground. Haruka had shut her eyes, waiting on the impact. Instead she felt a soft one and gripped onto it, thankful it saved her. Opening her eyes she found Sayaka with ehr soft gaze, and small voice asking if she was okay. Haruka nodded, only staring into her eyes.

"Haruka," Sayaka said her name softly, "I-"
She was cut off when Haruka kissed her. It was an urge Haruka felt the need to do, although it was a bad idea. Sayaka pulled away. "What are you doing?"

Haruka opened her eyes, not looking up at Sayaka anymore, "I'm sorry." She pushed away from her and straightened herself up, turning to leave back upstairs when Sayaka caught her by the arm and pulled her back into her arms and kissed her.
