Prologe

Deep inside my heart I know it is no used to hide it, but it is hurt to you know love is not for me, Atsuko.

When I am going home I saw Atsuko with that man. Yeah, my best friend. We used to be a bestfriend not after he steal away you from me . But what can I do? when I see that you kiss him I know that I have not stand a chance. Good bye Atsuko.

Atsuko : Minami...?!

You shocked when you saw me standing looking at you. But I see it.

Atsuko : I ... I can explain.

Minami : no. NO!!

I run away. Run as faster as I can. I wish I can die. I wish I am not in love with you.  But then I see light, a bright one. Its hurt. But it doesn't matter, I don't care anymore.

chapter 1 : I am five years old
At the hospital
Aachan!!

Haruna : How are Minami?
Kojima Haruna
A tall looking girl. Very beautiful. She is inrelationship with Oshima Yuu. Sometimes can be an airhead,

Atsuko just shook her head. She is crying and can't even say any word.

Yuu : Shuushh...  don't cry Aachan.  I am sure he is alright.
Oshima Yuu
A good looking guys, who is very cheerful, love sports very much. Like Haruna very much. Atsuko cousin.

Atsuko pov
My name is Maeda Atsuko. I am in love with my childhood friend, Takahashi Minami. But, because of my mistake I almost lost him.

Flashback

Sato Takeru, Takahashi Minami best friend, or should I call a jerk. He know that both me and Minami have feeling for each other. But in the end he force me to kiss him. He confess to me that night. And of course I declined.  I love Minami after all. But then he grab me by force and kiss me. And the worst, Minami saw it.

I want to explain it, but Minami just run away. He run and I chase him.  And that's when accident happened. Minami got hit by car.

Minami....why everything bad happened?

Minami wake up. He see everything white. No body in that room. He shouts but his voice didn't came out. He then decided to explore the room. In there have one room.  In the front door it have some words. It is said in italic Sayaka the will rechter . Feeling confuse,  he then decided to open the door.

He go inside, and in second the door automatically close and dissapeared. And everything become dark. Expect the middle room, where the is a chair. Don't know what to do, he decided to sit.

When he sit, suddenly he hear a sound.
Takahashi Minami, born with no love, live without feeling being loved, betrayed by his own friend,  live without family,  bullied. Should one with this soul being released and free from this world.

What did ...

Silence! ! No body can intervene the course. 

?...?

But.. one tear change everything. One prayer give miracles. One hope can be true.

Takahashi Minami, I as the will rechter will give you trials,  may you succeed or die. The case closed.

What are you talking about, who are you? why I am here? Hey!!!

Next Minami know is, when he opened his eyes, he is in another room.  But the room looks normal. Looks like hospital room. He then stand up and walked away.

Now where I am? Why .?!! Whuaaaa

Takahashi Minami now in his five years old body.

Chapter 1 : nice to meet you

Minami pov
Oh God! I know I am short but should I looks like this small?! what happening here? After seeing a weird dream now my body became like this?

I remember that I been hit by a car. After that... sigh no idea.

So I start to wondered. Why I am here? With this kind of body? If this is God pranks please spare me. I.. have enough of this all. But suddenly I hear a voice.

"Hey you!"

Minami : what..?! Ok. God must be joking, now I see an insect with human face talking to me.

"Hey! That's rude! My name is Miyuki. I am Miyuki the angel. I here to bring your first trial. Well, listen well human being. Because the great Sayaka have give you second chance, to get back your soul to your original body. I hereby come to help you."

Kai : no thanks my live is miserable enough. Can't I pass it? I really... have enough.

Miyuki : can't do that.  You know, it is not my bussiness to tell you but, somebody beg for your live. And the great Sayaka feel sorry for her. So here you are. But to gain that soul again you need to pass the trial.

Kai : who is that?! I have no body.

Miyuki : you will find it soon. Now, soul that never being loved, born with nobody. Shall you find a light that lit your darkness.

Then there is a candle that appear in front of Kai. The candle then go inside Kai heart. It make him very panic. And attract one of the nurse there.

Nurse : hey little boy are you lost?! Where are your family? Hm..? What is your name?

Minami : umn... Takahashi.. Minami. I don't have family.

Then suddenly there is other nurse who come. That nurse is Miyuki.
Miyuki : there you are~♥♥ Kai kun. Let me handle this, he is family of Takahashi Minami, room no 234.

With that they leave the nurse. And go to Minami room

Minami : I am sure I gonna die of shock. why my body is in here?!

Miyuki : oh hush! Now let see, we need to find the person who will take care of you. Remember your name is Kai. Ah.. there she is!

Minami : wha..?!
Minami froze, there is Acchan who is coming to his room. She looks tired and her eyes is red.

Miyuki : excuse me, are you Takahashi family?

Atsuko : yes, I am.

Miyuki : well, you see. This little boy is Takahashi san relative.  His mother have abandon him in front of Takahashi san front room just now and here.. the letter, sorry if I read it first. He give it to me.

Atsuko take the letter. And see it. She then smiled.
Atsuko : sure I will take care of you. Nice to meet you Kai kun.

chapter 3 : find out?!

Minami / kai pov
I am too schock to hear the news. Me living with Acchan?!
I finally go inside my room where my real body lay down. Looking at myself, I feel really awkward.  It's weird.

But then I look at Acchan. She do look skinnier.  She put the flower in my table and then stare at myself who is sleeping in that hospital bed. I can see a tears started to flow from her eyes. It make me feel pain somehow. I want to tell the truth but will she believe in me?

End of pov

kai : nee chan.. don't cry. Minami nii chan will be sad.

Atsuko then look at Kai and wipe her tears.
Acchan : nee chan didn't cry, there is something in my eyes.

Atsuko force to smile, but Kai know that is a fake smile. He climb the bed and then reach Atsuko face, he then pat her head and hug her. This action make Atsuko suprised. She then smiled.

Acchan : gomenne.. I promise to take care of you and yet you are the one that take care of me.

Because of the visit time already pass, Atsuko then go home together with Kai. before she go home she decided to go to nearby mini market. 
At mini market
"Kai.. kai..."

Kai : yes, nee chan?

Acchan : hm..? I didn't call you Kai.

"Kai over here!"

Kai then look at the other side, turn out it is Miyuki voice. She is in her tiny form again. He then go to that side.
Kai : what?

Miyuki : I forgot to say to you, don't you ever dare to say you are Minami to Atsuko. If you do then you will get punishment from Sayaka sama. You may not revealed that to everybody.

Kai : fine. But may I know how I come back to my real body? And what letter  do you give to Atsuko?

Miyuki : hehe~ it a secret why don't you ask herself. That if she want to tell you.

Kai : fine, I have a feeling that you won't tell me.

Atsuko : kai.. kai kun.. where are you?

Miyuki : oops, looks like your mama is looking for you. Bye nee...

With that Miyuki dissapear and Kai go back to find Atsuko. They finally go home.

At Acchan apartment
Atsuko live alone, her parents are a very busy and don't spent many time to her. So she decided to live in apartment near her university. 

Acchan : kai kun, are you hungry? What do you want to eat? I will cook for you.

Kai : katsudon! I want to eat that.

Kai eyes is beaming, he really like katsudon, especially acchan made one. Acchan just smiled at his  behavior,  seeing Kai remains her to Minami. They really resemble. Maybe all takahashi boy are like them.

Acchan : okay, Kai kun, I will prepare the food. You wait here ok?

Kai : yeah!!! Katsudon~ Katsudon~

Kai then started to dance and singing.  He don't know why, but maybe stuck in five year old body make his behavior back to a kid. Kai then started to help Acchan  by cleaning the table and prepare the dishes.

When the food is done, he eat it quickly as if he didn't eat for a long time.

Kai : uhuk!!

Acchan : kai kun calm down don't eat to quick, it is not good, there.. there.. better?

Acchan pat kai back gentle,  and hand his a glass of water. Kai then smiled at acchan,  he give her a honest happy smile.

But their happy moment get interupt by a door bel. At first Atsuko looks hesitant to open the door. She check it first from the window near the door. Turn out it is Yuu and Haruna. So she opened the door.

Yuu : Acchan,  how are you today? That jerk didn't come right?after what he had done, I will punch him to death! !

Atsuko : no, he didn't.

Haruna : kyaaa!!

hearing haruna screaming, Yuu and Acchan quickly go to see Haruna.

Kai : let me go!!

Haruna : kawaiii~

Haruna is hugging Kai,Turnouts haruna go inside the kitchen and find out Kai in there eating happily.  She find him cute.

Yuu : Nyan nyan, I think the boy didn't like being hugged. But Acchan, who is this kid?

Acchan : kai kun, this is Yuu nii and haruna nee chan.

Haruna : nice to meet you kai kun. (Still hugging him)

Yuu : nice to meet you boy, as you know she is my girlfriend.

Haruna : yuu chan, to think you are jealous to kai kun?!

Yuu : noo, impossible this little kid will win nyan nyan affection right Acchan?

Acchan : haha, well looks like he did. I never see Nyan nyan let any boy beside you to have any skinship. (Teasing mode on)

Yuu : hueee!! Nyan nyan.. (pouted)

Haruna : yuu chan behave!

Yuu : but!  But... (come closer to Haruna and Kai)

Kai : sigh... hai.. don't cry yuu nii chan (patting Yuu head), kai kun understand. Yuu nii and Haruna nee is together.

Kai then smiled at him, this make yuu realize something.

Yuu : say, Acchan.  I wonder why this kid looks like Minami? When he smile, there also have two dimples in his face.

Acchan : he is Minami cousin, and I am taking care of him now.

Yuu : but, the way he is really the same Minami. Just like the same person. Maybe he is Minami?

Haruna : Yuu chan, it's impossible.  How can minami be this small?!

Yuu then looks at Kai, then he lift him from Haruna. And whispers something to Kai and make him shocked.

(Yuu : nee. Kai kun did you meet the rechter?)

When Minami is in this kind of body, she can make Acchan smile.. at least little bit.. 
Looks like Yuu know something! hmmm..?!

Kai pov

I was shocked,  how can Yuu know about Sayaka?! But I may not tell the truth, Miyuki told me not to tell anybody. What will happen if I say yes? No, I won't tell. Not now, I need to ask miyuki first.

Kai : Haruna nee chan, oppai daisuki!!

Haruna : eehhh?! Yuu chan what did you say to him?! (Release dark aura)

Acchan : Kai kun, It is no good to say that, girl will not be happy to hear that. And yuu kun ( atsuko glared at Yuu and it give a clear massage don't do anything stupid)

Yuu : urrghh!!! I don't say anything bad nyan nyan, believe me.

Haruna : so explain why he can said something like that?

Yuu : umn.. may be he want to drink milk?

Haruna : I knew it! Hentai always hentai ( pull Yuu ear, and go away), acchan we go first.  I need to punish this pervented squirrel.

Yuu : it .. ittai,  so sorry Nyan nyan.

With that the kojiyuu couple excuse themseft, beside it quite late already.  Atsuko then clean the dishes meanwhile Kai is watching the television.  But actually Kai is curious about Yuu. He wonder why Yuu mention about rechter?!

Kai pov
Miyuki told me not to tell anything to anybody,  and yet Yuu know about it. Hm...

When I encounter her I will ask her, and what about this 5 years old body? How about my real body? Will I forever stuck in this body?

And Acchan... I never know that you willing to take care of me. I just a childhood friend. Can I give myself hope? Or you just take pity on me, because I don't have anybody.

Kai then sigh,  he doesn't know what to do, he want to ask miyuki about this thing, but how? But suddenly,  he felt a warm hand warp his body from back, it was Atsuko. Sudden action make him blush.

Acchan : hm... what with that long sigh? Kai kun looks like an ojii san nee. Do you have some problems?

Kai looked at Atsuko, Eventhough she give him a smile but those brunettes eyes doesn't tell a lie. It shown a worried,  and Kai silently curse himself that make Atsuko worried about him. He doesn't want to give so much trouble to her, and yet he the want that always create more trouble to her.

Kai : nee chan, gomenne,  I just miss Mama.

Kai lied, because he doesn't know what excuse he will give. Atsuko then hug him. Shooting the young boy. Kai then give a his best smile to Atsuko, showing his dimples to her.

Kai : un.. thank you nee chan.

Atsuko : ... Minami..

Kai : ..?!

Atsuko : ah! Gomenne, when you smile like that you just look like Minami nii chan, hehe.. let's sleep ne Kai kun. Brush your teeth first, kay?

Kai : hai, good night nee chan.

Atsuko : un.. good night.

Atsuko pov
Those smile, in second time I think he is Minami. I must be crazy.  Minami is lying in the hospital, and impossible the 5 years boy is him.

Minami, I miss you a lot. Please get up soon... I haven't tell you my feeling yet. Minami...

Kai has finished brushing his teeth, and when he come out, he see Atsuko is crying, and she muttered "Minami" somehow it make Kai feel quilty, he is here and want to say to Atsuko its okay, I am Minami. But, Miyuki had warned him before. Kai then chupped Atsuko face wipe her tears and with his small hand and give kiss on Atsuko forehead.

Kai : atsu nee chan, are you hurt? Don't cry nee, I will be a good boy. And I am sure Minami nii chan doesn't like you to cry.

Chapter 4 : reason to live

When he opened his eyes, Minami is in the dark room again. He know this place. It is the place where he met the Retcher,  sayaka. But, in that room there Is no body,  he can't even find a single light to see his body. But suddenly there is a light inside his body. Soon, he see the room, there is two dragon statue. One holding a red gem and the second holding a blue gem. He wonder bout the stones, but he doesn't dare to touch it. The dragon face look scary.  The dragon hold the stone near its heart, and looks precious to them.

"You will end up like them if you can't accomplish the trials"

Kai looked at the sound source, and turn out it was Sayaka sound. He smile to Minami, but Minami just frown at him. Too many question he wish Sayaka can answer. But Minami didn't know where to start.

Minami : why..?

Sayaka just smile at him, he surely won't answer those things. Instead of answering, he then snap his finger and then they move to another place. In there Minami see something. He see Atsuko, crying holding his body. His body is full of blood, then he hear what Atsuko wish for.

Atsuko : God! Please don't take Minami away from me, I.. I willing to give everything in order to have Minami back. Oh God...

Soon Sayaka snapped his hand again, and now Minami see other thing. It is Sayaka, with other person. No! Minami know that is not a person. He somehow can fell it, the dark aura he emitting.

Sayaka : I come here to make an agreement. Don't take that boy yet. It is not his time yet. Dark lord, thou shall know that taking innocent life forcefully will not bring any good to both of you

Dark lord : shall you know I just grand a wish, he wish for it. And I hear it clearly,  tingling in my ears. And rechter don't you dare to lecture me. I know who I am playing with. This unfortune soul need to be free. And soon he will be reborn for better life.

Sayaka : how so? I shall judge this poor soul, let me do my job, as you know God will not be happy with your foul trick.

Dark lord :you know the result will alwyas be the same, but let it be. I will get the soul for sure. Ha ha ha

And then the room become dark again, with Minami candle lite the room.

Sayaka : remember, you shall protect what important for you, I can't help you more. This is your own trial, and the trial will started soon. Prepare Minami...

"Min.. Minami.."

Minami : huh?!

When Minami look around,  he is at Atsuko room. He is back to his five years old body again. Looks like Atsuko has a nightmare, she keep calling Minami and there are tears in her eyes. Minami try to wake her up. And when he made it, Atsuko looks pale.

Kai : atsu nee chan..

Atsuko quickly wipe her tears,  giving a smile to Kai.

Atsuko : gomenne,  nee chan just have a nightmare.  Sorry to wake you up.

Kai know he need to have his body back. As soon as possible,  because if not he will make Atsuko suffer more.

Kai thought
I will pass the trial and live again.
