Chapter 10 : I will be the winner!
Rena become quite after hearing those word. A playboy?! Did she really will have a playboy husband?!
Rena Pov
Jun is a playboy?! Does that mean, he will get bored with me and find another woman or wife?! I … know I am not beauty, and just a plain girl, who skin is too paled and have a weak body. My smile sometimes crepe people out. And … sigh.. it will be obvious if he find another girl to replace me. I mean, he is so handsome, with her smile and gentle attitude, many girl will fall in love with him. And I hear he is a photographer back there, I think he encountered many people, he see many thing more than me and I am sure there are a lot of girl who like him.

Mayu seems to know what Rena think about. Actually he just want to tease Jun, because he used to do it in the high school.
Mayu : well, I just want to tease him, saying he is a playboy back then. Playboy just a nickname for him. But rest assure Rena chan, because he is a good guy. He sure know how to flirt but he never date anybody back there in the high school even though there are many girl who confess to him already. He somehow afraid to make any relationship to any girl. So, I also wonder what change his mind to have a relationship.
Milky : Oni chaan!! I am sure they love each other. Looks at Jun behavior just now. The way he treat Rena, I am sure he is in love with Rena chan. Please don’t mind my brother word nee Rena chan. He is smart but, his social ability still very low. I really wonder how I will fix this thing.
Mayu : Milky, It hurt in here you know. (point at his heart)
Milky : sigh.. plus my oni chan actually a bit pervert. I wonder who can handle such a pervert.
Rena : (giggle) it is okay, so how about we having a walk in the park, after that maybe we can have a light snack.
Mayu and Milky agreed to have some walk. Meanwhile Jun is having a hard time with Yuki, She has track his background. But for social behavior she is sure she didn’t miss a thing. He is single until he met Rena. He sure is a flirt type but never been in relationship before.
Back to Yuki and Jun
Yuki : you better behave, and try to fix your behavior. I need to prepare you in three month before the meeting. And also you need to prepare for your marriage. If I remember correctly, your marriage will be held in one week start from now.
Jun : huh?! What meeting? And what?! In one week?! It is so fast, can I have my date first with Rena chan? I mean I don’t really know her…
Yuki is glaring at him, she know it can’t be help. As there are some rumors about Jun and Rena already. In other not to prolong the rumors they need to settle the marriage as soon as possible. That’s why Mayu and Milky come to Matsui house today. They father come to meet with her master to discuss these matter. Well, Watanabe is famous of it intelligent and can give a quick solution if needed.
Yuki : The four clan meeting. It will be held every year. In there they will disscuss everything that is important to the town development. And also, there will be some kind of event that every part of family need to attend once every 3 year, and luckily the event will be held in these year. And for your information, those event are important. The winner will be the clan leader. It change every 3 year. Last time, it is Yamamoto clan who win.
Jun : huh?! Sugoii!! How about our clan?
Yuki : sigh.. because we don’t have next successor beside Master, they need a man to join the event, so we never really participate in any event. Mostly the event need mentally and physically preparation. I could say we always come to be the last one. Since now are the masters child who participate.
Jun : eh???!! how come!! Well, I am sure it will not happened this year. Since Matsui Jun is here, I will be the winner.
Yuki : well, at least you are great with your confident. I hope at least you are not the last. At least you can pass the Furukawa clan. That will be a great achieve for this year.
Jun : hm.. I wonder, the winner will be the clan leader right? So what the benefit to be a clan leader?
Yuki : well, all I can say is, you will have your word. Every clan will be listen to your word, especially if there are an unsettled one. They will used your advice to process it. But be wise, if there is three clan who aren’t agree with it, they will never listen to you. At least you have one clan back up.
Jun : Souka… so if I became the leader can I change a clan rules?
Yuki : well, it is depend. What rules you want to change. If it is vital and effect the other clan, don’t ever hope to change it. Because not every clan agree to it. And there are some rules that is forbidden to be change, according to the old pact of four clan.
Jun : alright!! I am sure I can do it. I won’t make the Matsui family become the last one.
Yuki : good. With that spirit, let’s continue with the lesson, shall we? I will make sure to teach you everything you need to know, and surely to make you remember whole of them.
Jun : gluped… Su..re.
Yuki : (evil smile), please prepare yourself. I will not hold down anymore.
It been a hard time for Jun, since he need to prepare himself for wedding party and also for the four clan meeting. And Yuki really didn’t make it easy either. She train him very hard. Kenzou also has give his knowledge and advice to Jun, he also ask Jun to accompany him to do his daily work, and for Jun, who didn’t want to make Matsui family disappointed especially Rena, he train himself very hard till very late and most of the time he didn’t meet Rena at all. Rena will wait for him, but most of the time, he will train till really late and in the end, Rena fall asleep, she is tired because of wedding preparation as well. The timing didn’t match at all.
The night before wedding.
Rena is waiting for Jun to come back to their room. Because Yuki has inform the servant to not distrub Jun training section, even though the servant want to let Yuki knew it she is bringing some dinner, Rena has stopped the servant for doing so. She know, it is soon will be the meeting of four clan and also her wedding. And as they have Jun now, Jun will be a representative for Matsui clan. Well, as soon as they married.
Thinking of married make Rena blushed. She never really interact to boys one. And now, she is married. And now she is really worried, many thing happened, and her mother word didn’t make it better.
Flash back
While Jun train really hard to adjust himself, Rena also need to prepare things for her marriage. When she want to come back to her room, she pass the library, and hear a talking sound. Looks like her mother is talking to another person, and what make Rena curious is, her mother word.
Akiko : this married can’t be canceled, every clan has know because of the Watanabe Clan good excuse.
Man : well, I am sure thing can be handled as you want madam, just like 10 years ago.
Akiko : Just make sure you handle this carefully, for Matsui family sake.
Man : rest assured Madam, I will not let you disappointed.
As Rena want to hear more, she hear a footstep from inside, looks like they want to go out, so she quickly go away, luckily no body found her out. With that man word, Rena wondered what did he mean with 10 year ago?? Does her step mother has a connection with her mother death, but how?
Rena is too focus on her on mind. And she didn’t realize that Jun already come back, when Jun see her, he somehow see her worried face. So he gently touch her hand. The action make Rena starled. After seeing the person who touch her is Jun, she become calm again.
Jun : nee, Rena chan what are you thinking? You look trouble.
Rena : it’s nothing. Hm.. how your traning session? It went well?
Jun : un.. it went well. Don’t worry Rena chan. Are you waiting for me again? It is so late already. I am sure you are tired already. Let’s sleep nee. Tomorrow is a big day for us.
Rena : un.. let’s sleep. it is late already.
When Rena want to move and ready to go to sleep, Jun held her waist and then caressing Rena face, he didn’t miss the worried eyes that has reflect in her eyes. He wondered why she have that worried look again. And because Rena didn’t want to tell him, it make him somehow sad. He doesn’t sure which one that make her sad. As Jun think he has some hunch about what thing that make Rena sad. Well, since encounter the Watanabe siblings, he hasn’t had a time to explain the ‘playboy’ title to Rena and he wondered is this make Rena worried. Worried that she will have a player future husband.
Jun : Rena chan
Rena : un.. ?
Jun : daisuki!!!
Rena : eh?! (blushed)
Jun : ano nee.., I don’t know what make you sad, but seeing you sad like that also make me hurt. So Rena chan, my feeling for you is real. And please don’t believe anything that Mayu said. Sure, er… I have a lot of fan back then, but I never really want them to be fan of mine. To tell you the truth, I never date any girl back then. I just don’t want to date girl that I don’t really like. But, Rena chan, I er.. I like you. So I willing to get married to you.
Rena : … so how about your playboy title?
Jun seems hesitated to tell Rena about his high scholl day, but seeing Rena want to know about him and need some more explanation, so he began to explain.
Jun : … well, I just want to be friendly toward everybody and I do somehow enjoy their affections, but Mayu said err… that action make every girl fall on me. Some boy even tell me that I am a flirt, so.. they started to give me title such like lady killer, playboy and such. There been a lot of rumors about that, and please don’t ever believe of that. Because I am 100% yours. (give a cat smile and give Rena a quick peck on lip)
Rena : mouu… Jun kun you steal a kiss again. (blushing)
Jun : he he.. well, today I do a great job and I want my reward.
Rena : (blushing) …
Jun : so Rena chan, reward please…
Rena : you steal a kiss from me, isn’t that enough?
Jun : eh?? yadaa.. I want reward
Rena : no… the kiss is enough.
Jun (pouting and sluking)
Rena give a small giggle at Jun behavior. She understand why the girls can fall for this guy. He can be such a gentleman and in the same time can be a little puppy who always want your attention. Cute and cool.
Rena hesitated a bit before come closer to Jun and she plan to give him a quick kiss in cheek. But Jun then turn around and make their lips meet. It surprise Rena, not only about Jun action but the kiss he give, it is gentle and full of love but looks hesitate. The hesitate soon disappear when Rena kiss him back. They kiss for a few second. Until Jun broke the kiss, he smile at her sheepishly, giving her a satisfied look. Which Rena return with a shy smile.
Jun : So.., good night nee Rena chan.
Rena : un.. good night Jun kun, I.. I love you.
