How much of this you want to fill out is completely up to you.  Same with how many favorites you want to list, or don't want to list.  The numbers are just a mild suggestion.

Hopefully taking a look at where we stand in our Johnnys fandoms will help bring out some discussion.  Show who we share the same tastes with.

How I Got Into Johnnys:
While I had previously sampled some Johnnys stuff from Arashi, SMAP, KinKi Kids, and NewS, I didn't really start getting interested in Johnnys until watch Matsumoto Jun and KAT-TUN on Utawara every week (or as often as the episodes would come out).  After that, my fandom just started falling into place.  Especially with my increased attention to doramas.

Top Five Johnnys Groups:
1. KAT-TUN
- Different from my usual tastes, but I've really enjoyed the songs, and I fit right into the age group.
2. Arashi
- Half of their stuff does nothing for me, but the other half is great.  They also seem to be the group that sort of makes a connection between some older groups and the newer Junior groups.
3. NewS
- Probably the group that is most easily accessible to jump into right away from H!P fandom.  Upbeat, light-hearted songs, and a load of members.  However, at this point, some of those members are seem a little "reject-y" to me, yet, and with the current suspensions, this fandom is on hold.
4. Kanjani∞
- One group I'm still getting used to.  Their songs are so off the wall, and that is saying a lot coming from an H!P fandom.   However, taking more attention to their talks rather than performances may get me more interested.
5. KinKi Kids
- Another group I'm divided on. Some of their stuff sounds too old school for me, but there are gems in there that I really like.  Plus, the solo careers are looking pretty good.

1. Taguchi Junnosuke (KAT-TUN)
- I just found myself able to identify with him more, and I'm impressed by his acrobatics.  His role in Ganbatte Ikimasshoi also solidified this position.
2. Nishikido Ryo (NewS/Kanjani∞)
- Again, I just found myself able to identify with him before some of the others.  His roles in 1Litre of Tears, Ganbatte Ikimasshoi, and Attention Please also helped.  And while double exposure in two groups doesn't hurt, I think it was his backlog of Johnnys variety shows for years upon years that lets me associate with his personality more.
3. Matsumoto Jun (Arashi)
- Besides all his dorama roles, the fact that I saw a lot of him on Utawara before really getting into Johnnys really put him in the field of attention.  He's an entertaining performer too, but his strengths in television programming is really what sets him apart.
4. Yamashita Tomohisa (NewS)
- His dorama roles in Stand Up, Nobuta wo Produce, Kurosagi, and such have really given him a lot of attention.  The rest of the attention probably comes from his focus in the Seishun Amigo single and his great Daite Senorita single.  Like Ryo, he's a vetern despite being a junior group member.
5. Kamenashi Kazuya
- Again, Utawara, doramas, Seishun no Amigo, etc etc etc.  Kame has a lot of exposure, and it worked for him.

- It will never get old for me.  Good exposure for them too.
2. Ya-Ya-Yah!
-This is where I got to be a fan of an undebuted Johnnys group.  Probably the closet thing to Hello! Morning for Johnnys fans.
3. Shounen Club
- Short concert for tv.  Exposure for all the undebuted groups, as well as debuted Junior groups.

I'm currently really into checking out Arashi stuff.  Their fifth album, ONE, is my favorite by far.  Love every track on there.

Good Day from V6!  The PV was kind of dumb, but the song hasn't gotten old for me, yet.

Group I'm Interested In, But Have Yet To Really Check Out:
SMAP!  I've tried to get into them before through some songs.  Then I encoded and upped one of their concerts, which I couldn't even finish myself.  Now I downloaded another concert, and I haven't been able to watch it either.  SMAP gets so much love, and I want to love them too, but I just haven't found the hook yet for me.  However, DYNAMITE is a great song!

How I Got Into Johnnys:
My fandom started just recently really. I was fighting them off for a long time, cause I didn't want to become a crazy fangirl over boybands like I used to be when I was a teen. But after watching Hana Yori Dango at the end of last year I got hooked onto Arashi and started learning about some of the other groups. Nobuta wo Produce is what really solidified the fandom, because it caused me to discover my main love. YAMAPI! <333

I saw Kimura Takuya in Long Vocation and then I started watching SMAPxSMAP.  The rest is history.

The definitive Johnny's group and the most successful boyband ever.  Plus, it has Kimura Takuya.
2.TOKIO
The only actual band in Johnny's.  Zone may have invented the term "Bandol",  but Tokio was the original.
3.Kinki Kids
Johnny's has always had great duos, and Kinki Kids is the best.  Plus, their name is Kinki ^_-
4.Hikaru Genji
One word:  Rollerskates
5.KAT-TUN
Beatboxes, freestyle rapping, heavy metal guitar, and a whole lot of attitude makes this the edgiest and most popular group of the new generation.
Honorable Mention:  Tackey & Tsubasa, Toraji & Haiji, Shuuji to Akira, Arashi, V6, and...Go Hiromi desu~!

1.Shake
with lyrics like "Hippy Happy Shake" it's an instant classic
2.Ashita wo Mezashite
Seishun Amigo was the breakthrough Johnny's song in the irc, but Ashita wo Mezashite made countless momusuko's into diehard Johnny's fans.
3.Garasu no Shounen
the definitive Kinki Kids song and the best selling single in a duo where every single has reached #1 on the oricon charts.  It sounds pretty good too
4.Diamond Hurricaine
Definitely the most badass intro in all of Johnny's, it sounds like it came straight out of hell.  Plus it has Yankees in Rollerskates.  
5.She Said...
If diamond hurricaine has the most badass intro, then She Said... has the edgiest.  When Tanaka tells you "We are the K A T T U N" there's no mistaking that these guys are here for anything but kicking ass and delivering the most in-your-face performance you've ever seen from a boy band.

Top Five Johnnys Members (and the group/unit they are part of):
1.Kimura Takuya (SMAP)
The Posterchild of Johnny's Ent, Kimutaku can do anything from running a triathalon to marrying the biggest star from the biggest idol group of the 80s, Kudou Shizuka
2.Matsumoto Jun (Arashi)
The new Kimutaku, I first took notice MatsuJun in his impressive performance in the show Gokusen.  I'm always a sucker for the troubled badass character
3.Nagase Tomoya (Tokio)
Tomoya makes one badass Yakuza and a damn funny rakugo storyteller.  Too bad his cooking sucks.
4.Doumoto Tsuyoshi (Kinki Kids)
The master of deadpan humor, his show Shoujiki Shindoi is a favorite of mine, and I love the chemistry between him and Wakatsuki Chinatsu and Koike Eiko.  One more reason, FANTASTIPO!
5.Kamenashi Kazuya and Yamashita Tomohisa (KAT-TUN & NewS)
They will forever be Shuuji and Akira to me, and as such I can't rate either more than the other.  I can, however, rate the two of them 5th.  Oh look at that, I did.

Food Porn, Hot Female Guests, and hilarious skits
2.Shin Doumoto Kyoudai
the only thing holding this show back is the half-hour timeslot.  The guests, regulars, and performances are top-notch, however.
3.Utawara/Utaban
Utaban isn't really a Johnny's show, but Nakai Masahiro is so awesome in it that it doesn't matter.  MatsuJun and Ayaya are all the reason I need to watch Utawara, the awesome performances, corners, and guest appearances are just icing on the cake.

Top Johnnys Dorama Roles (and according show):
1.Nagases Tomoya and Okada Junichi as Kotora and Kotatsu (Tiger and Dragon)  currently, Tiger and Dragon is only behind GTO as my favorite dorama.  It's the most unique and innovative dorama I've ever seen, and Nagase and Okada's performances are top class.
2.Doumoto Tsuyoshi and Kokubun Taichi as Toraji to Haiji (Fantastipo)
There is only one word that can describe the awesomeness of this move:  FANTASTIPO!!!
3.Kimura Takuya as anyone (in anything)
It takes two brilliant performances and endless amounts of creativity in order to top Kimutaku at anything and even then you need to resort to low blows like Yakuza and Aardvarks.

Current Group Addiction:
I've fallen back on my old staple SMAP recently, but past addictions have been Tackey & Tsubasa, Shuuji to Akira, and Toraji to Haiji.

Current Song Addiction:
I wouldn't call it an addiction, but Yamashita Tomohisa's "Daite Senorita" has really started to grow on me.

Group I'm Interested In, But Have Yet To Really Check Out:
I'm pretty familiar with all the current groups, but I'd like to know more about Johnny's groups from the 70s and early 80s.  This proves to be more difficult than expected.

How I Got Into Johnnys:
It was just a little while ago. I watched the first few eps of Nobuta (damn... never finished it... what's wrong with me) and TOTALLY fell for Yamap, even if his character was mad annoying. Before that I had avoided Johnnys as much as I could, as I had zero interest in them, thought they all looked and sounded the same etc. But Yamap's hotness was so crazy I started thinking I should give Johnnys a chance. And when we got boy threads here, it was a great opportunity for me to get to know them better.

He's just so annoyingly hot, I can't help but like him. I think it's mostly shallow lust, but I did also find him funny on this one NEWS backstage video. He seems like a bit of a doof, like quiet, but when he does something funny it's so cute and dorky it's all aaaawwwwww.
2. Ryo - NEWS/Kanjani8
Well, he's hot and cool. I don't know anything about his personality, just that he's a bit silly with K8, but otherwise kinda quiet. Well in the NEWS vid I saw he barely spoke. I wonder if he's shy, then. Actually I'd appreciate it if someone wrote short descriptions about their personalities :/
3. Koyama - NEWS
Man, I initially thought he was ugly ROFL. I thought "he must have a shiny personality..." Then I saw him in Kurosagi and that's when I started liking him. I watched that NEWS vid I've mentioned a few times now, and he seemed funny and... I dunno, there's just something likeable about him. So now I really like him.
4. Masuda - NEWS
I like Masuda mainly because he has an AWESOME smile. It's cool that he can sing, too.
5. Um Junno? - Kat-tun
Just because I thought he had cuteness potential in the Kat-tun concert I saw.

How I Got Into Johnnys:
-it started with Jdorama.. they're everywhere, it's just hard too miss.. for some, i might have not heard their songs but i've seen them in doramas..

5 is too much for me.. because song-wise, i only know Arashi and SMAP.. well.. yamaP might be included but it's just P not NEWs

1. Masahiro Nakai (SMAP) ... he's the reason for JE for me

2. Yuichiro Sakuraba --> Nagase Tomoya.. some old stuff about a super star married but have to keep it a secret.. i really love Yuko Tacheuchi, she's so cute!.. and well.. Tomoya's cool too...
3. (i forgot the name)-->  YamaP.. Lunch time Queen .. or something like that.. P's still a kid in that one.. it was the first time i saw him.. nah, he's not hot yet.. i watched it because Yuko Takeuchi
4. (i dont remember)--> Nino .. i dont even know the name but it's Nino and Kyoko that's been shrunk and he keeps her in his pocket and doll house.. it's this dorama that got me listening to Arashi
