(Few months later)
“Yocchan, have dinner with me.”
The request from Miki is too sudden, Yossi looks at her watch and hesitates.
“Why? You meeting someone? Postpone it.”
Miki is seldom so demanding, Yossi knows Miki really need her company, may be she needs someone to confide in.
“Alright, I’ll be ready in a minute.”
Yossi hurriedly stuffs her belongings into her bag.
Miki: “Ask Makoto along.”
“She is at Konkon’s place, today is their rest day.”
Miki: “That lucky girl…”
From the sarcastic tone, Yossi guesses Miki must have some problems with her lover again.

Miki looks around for a suitable place to empty the contents from her tea cup, the bbq stove looks inviting but she knows Yossi will scream if she does it. Left with no choice, Miki pours her tea into Yossi’s tea cup in the most natural way, hoping Yossi will not notice it.
“Again? You’re getting bolder ya, we’re outside now.”
“Nobody will know, it’s only you and me in this room.” Miki takes out a can of beer from her bag “You want some?” Actually Miki just asks out of courtesy, she knows Yossi dislike beer.
“Aren’t you going to talk? I’m not here just to yakiniku with you…”
“Gosh… can’t you show some compassion to your friend?” When Miki says that nonchalantly and the way she pokes the meat with her chopsticks, Yossi knows she doesn’t deserve any.
“What did Aya do this time?” asks a deadpan Yossi.
Miki: “She… she hasn’t touch me for weeks…”
“Goodness me, that’s what been troubling you?” Yossi cannot believe her ears.
Miki: “It’s a very important issue.”
“You guys always hold hands don’t you…”
Miki: “BAKA, I don’t mean that!”
Yossi knows, she just hopes to cheer up Miki a bit with her unappreciated sense of humor.
“Maybe she doesn’t find me interesting anymore…” Miki downs her beer at one go and refills, warm beer sure tastes bad.
Yossi really cannot understand how important that is to Miki, she has never done it, although occasionally she do fantasize about it.
“True love surpasses all physical attractions.”
Miki: “It’s a big joke, that coming from you, Mr. Roman. Girls throw themselves at you now.”
Yossi does not agree with Miki, no doubt she has quite a reputation in Haroporo now since she has successfully threw off those excess fats, the farthest she has gone with girls is just holding hands and polite kisses on the cheeks.
Miki: “You think I don’t know about the bets you always have with Makoto? She will name someone then you’ll…”
“It’s just for fun.” Yossi chips in.
Miki: “You’re such a flirt nowadays.”
“Yeah… maybe I’ll try my charm on Aya.” Yossi says spitefully
Miki: “That will be wonderful, we’ll do threesomes.”
“I surrender...”
Yossi knows she can never beat Miki with words. Miki isn’t called ‘tsukkomi queen’ of the group for nothing.

recently I seemed to have lost the interest for writing, the good thing is I have few chapters more waiting to be posted so I'll post them once or twice a day. Hopefully before I run out of chapters, I'll have found the motivation to write again.
