Stupid kids racing their cars. It's incredible there aren't more accidents, the driving tests around here are "go around the block and parallel park". And it always seems like the idiots that cause these accidents never get injured in the process. wtf

But considering it involved a street racer, I wouldn't be surprised if all she cared about was winning the race, and that the though never even crossed her mind that she may be putting anyone in danger (herself, general population, or the people on the highway with her at the time).

She pleaded not guilty to vehicular manslaughter and I assume guilty to excessive speeding and illegal street racing.

I mean, come on. They know you smashed in to the SUV, lady. And as a result it crashed, killing three people. It's vehicular manslaughter. Pleading not guilty usually just gets you a longer jail sentance (if found guilty by the court, which she probably will).
