Do you guys think that's how the camera's going to be like on the DVD?

I dunno... I never watched any concerts on NHK before. I just think they wouldn't go through all the trouble and edit the concert twice just so they could show a different version on tv. :/  But I'm hoping for a different edit, too, since this one is crap. Oh well, not like I'm gonna buy the DVD.

I agree with Susu123, Suki Sugite Baka mitai was really a great perf...and i also liked Inshouha Renoir no You ni...what really pissed me off was GOOD BYE Natsuo where the camera only focused on Takahashi...and they cut Mari's parts

It's just me ? or the Special Generation looked like slow motion ?
after that it was...almost...boring...i was about to stop watching untill Berryz Vs °C-ute came...Dance battle haha that was great. and after that it was entertaining too, well it was the SexyPeace medley...too bad it looked like playback...

it looked kinda empty without W...and Miya...

what i retain is :

:D

The whole concert is boring to me, too, for the most part. I think it's really the camera work that puts me off.

A request here! Could someone make me an mp3 of that Sukibaka perf, please? TIA. :)

Bah humbug on you all, minus maybe three songs I'm in love with the whole damn concert :p Although that might be largely due to the fact that I was there, and thus didn't have to deal with cameras only focusing on one person at a time. I could pick and choose where to look (I noticed that a lot of Reina's whoring during Suki Sugite was cut out of the TV broadcast... heh...).

Amen. Can't spoil too much of the fanservice. >_> I'm surely going to hell because of it...

Other than that and the main events, I feel this was a pretty weak concert. Probably because of the setlist and all the pre-recorded stuff. So yeah, I'd say the highlights are Koibito ni Narou, Suki na Senpai, Ai wo Choudai (...) and WaraBoyfriend.

As for the extra footage and interviews - I like how Takahashi wrote Konkon a letter... She's so oldschool~

^ In a big stadium with performers accross the whole podium, do not expect all live performances (you do not want to hear out-of-breath singing!)

They have done H!P concerts that are far less lip synched than this one.  And yes, I would rather hear someone out of breath than have it be fake.  One of the things that set H!P apart for me was that they are one of the few groups of this nature that generally did not lip synch - if this were the US, they would have been lip synching all the time right from the begining of their careers I think.

That and it's also a great gauge of how the girls have improved in terms of singing while performing. I was really proud of Momoko in suki sugite just because of her improvement. I've never really liked her voice, but it was nice seeing improvement.

I've yet to finish watching my copy but the amount of lip-synching is really putting me off this. If it wasn't KonKon's grad, I doubt I'd of bought it.
a post by me, a rare thing!

I believe Tsuji's performance and one with Miyabi + Berryz have already been specified as extras.

I don't know about Miyabi, but Tsuji was there at Konkon's concert, not performing but she was there, and on the DVD cover you see her after she gave her little speech with the cast from her fall, so I don't see how that would be an extra. http://youtube.com/watch?v=F0dRk2uqYrE

Ahum, yes after watching this I must say, it could do with a bit less out-of-sync lip-syncing...

i really liked the berryz vs c-ute dance :) other than that, a few nice performances. that "peace/sexy boy" medley at the end i didnt like at all at first then i really liked it when the peace actually started :)
a couple of nice performances in there, shame about a lot of lip synching (but then, all wonderful hearts seem to end like that) :/

I think the last WH con had less lipsynching. I wonder if it was because of the stage this time. (I'm gonna blame everything on the stage now.) The stage was huge and all over the place. They used backing tracks, right? And the speakers couldn't cover every inches of the stage and none of them were wearing those ear monitor thingies, so it might be impossible for them to hear the music when they were at some spots on the stage, so they had to lipsynch. Yeah. :/

Why didn't they use ear monitors anyway?
