You know how some Korean extremists say it's Japan's fault Korea became Korea with a K instead of Korea w/ a C?Because before 1895 today's Korea,or the Japanese Chosun,was called Corea in western maps and,according to those nationalistic lunatics,since the Japanese didn't want "Corea" to come first than Japan in alphabetic order,they changed it into Korea.
This doesn't make sense because occupied Korea was called Chosun,written w/ a C instead of K.

ok...this is going off topic but...you know, that in some countries, Korea isn't spelled with a K ? like in french, it's Corée, in spanish i think it's Corea, the same in italian, and Coreia for potuguese...i guess it depends of how the foreign country/language wants to spell the sound "k"...

No...

I remember asking about Yulina before, and someone said if I called Yurina Yulina, then I should romanize all other "ri" as "li" too (like "pilili to yukou"). Because it'd be silly to mix different kinds of romanization. (In a way I already do it because I e.g. write Goto instead of Gotou even if I romanize all other double-o as "ou" [err except Ootani and Oose... Ok I suck], but I guess I can be forgiven for that as "Goto" has become so commonly used among all the foreign fans...)

Anyway, I'd say stick to Risako... Risaco looks dorky, anyway

Hell, even if they're pronounced the same way, I still like "Risako" better than "Risaco"...it sounds like a Spanish or Portuguese city or town
