^ Yeah, it's called Lord of the Thunder. It was mentioned here (I think) a couple of months ago, around the time Kinoshita cut her hair and the fanboys were all "WTF"? :lol:

I knew I had seen it somewhere, just took a lil bit of searching.

The title of that series is "Ai No Senshi Rainbow Man ", came out in 1973 and ran 52 eps.

Ah, thanks L-san !!! :D  i was searching for it too but didn't get to find it...

As a matter of fact, i didn't know about this serie at all, but i guess i did get it confused with "Gekko Kamen" (Moonlight Mask) because of the guy's white costume... :P

Woahh, Rainbow Man~!!  They played that show in Hawaii in the 70s, right around the same time as Kikaida.  Awesome theme songs, btw.  I'll upload if I have the time.

IMO Rainbow Man began well but kind of petered out towards the end.  Perhaps it ran for too long.  There was a parallel plot line that involved his mother and younger sister, who had a polio-like disability.

FWIW, my user title is based on the subtitle for Rainbow Man.
