Yeah, other people online that I know who've already watched it told me the same thing.

Now I'm going to torture myself by waiting until Ep. 31 gets done by TV-N so I can DL it and watch the last 2 eps in a single shot.

So...rumours that I've seen say that [bgcolor=#000000]the little teaser clip at the end of the DCD 31 apparently means that the cliffhanger ending that we got is supposed to lead (storywise) to a Decade/W movie that will be released sometime before the new year (hence the mention of a Road Show on 2009.12.12).

K, stand back people and make sure you've got plenty of RAM available, because here comes a major buttload o' GIFs courtesy of the final 2 DCD Eps (30+31).

Before that, however, just wanted to state straight away that I will not be doing GIFs for KR Double/KR: W (at least, not the way/not as much as I've done for DCD). While I appreciate that people like the ones I've done for DCD, the process as a whole can be rather time-consuming, not to mention tiring. Now if I happen to find the odd moment here and there that I really like and if I have the time to spare, I may end up doing a few here and there. Just don't expect any "weekly GIF batches" from me anymore.

Yes, I deliberately ended that last GIF that way.

Yeah, I can see how her character can get annoying if you're over-exposed to it. For now though, I find her funny-cute, liked how she was all "

" with her little "duck lips" and how she kept smacking Shoutarou with that sandal in her bag. I couldn't help but laugh at the way she was all "WTF" and freaking out when Phillip's room started changing into that bigass tank/car thing.

I also find it interesting that it looks like the MOTW for this series (the "Dopants") are actually humans (that just get mutated/transformed into their monster forms with the GaiaMemory they have) and that after being defeated, they simply revert back to being regular humans (that can be taken into custody by the cops) instead of just being blown to bits.

^Well Shoutarou does mention that instead of destroying the monster/Dopant, they're performing "Memory Break" on the Gaia Memory stick, which is basically the source of the transformation/mutation. Which adds on to the detective theme really, since they are not being vigilantes, all they are doing is finding out the truth, and leaving the bad guys (minus powerup) to the cops to deal with.

It seems more moral than "RAWR I DESTROY YOU!!!"

I actually find the girl quite realistic (except for the sandal-hitting, which is obviously a gag like Natsumi's Laughing Pressure Point thing in DCD), since most normal people would be like "omgwtf I never heard of this!!!!" when thrown into such a situation.

Shrill voice is still shrill though, hence the annoyance. I might get used to it once she sounds less like a brat and more like....a girl?

But then that would ruin the dynamic she has with Shoutarou....hmm...

I like the search engine thing Philip has going on too. He beats Google any day! I think I like that Planet Library best out of the gimmicky stuff they have. *is a bookworm at heart* :3

Anyone notice how much like a druggie that Togawa Yousuke (Magma Dopant's human form) looked like? There's definitely an element of underworld crime syndicate going on in the background, especially with that crime family dinner party thing, and their casual discussion of peddling Gaia Memories to people.

Anyway, that Togawa dude had some serious dark circles under his eyes and looked awfully pale. I wonder what are the other side effects of a direct insertion of Gaia Memories into a human body, other than the obvious ability to transform into a Dopant. I have a few theories revolving around addiction/withdrawal symptoms, plus some messing with brain chemistry. If we take the Gaia Memories as USB sticks, sticking them into the body directly without third-party interference (like Double's rider belt) might be like introducing a viral program to rewrite the human DNA...with consequences. Of course, I'm overthinking it, and it's only the first episode!

And with this, I've just officially outed myself as a toku geek.

Oh and can I say I really really dig the return of the scarf on a rider?
