[10/11] 「 SOME BOYS TOUCH! 」 Maki Goto 16th single

I have just watched the video and I must say that I have mixed feelings...as a guy I like it cause it is hot ...but as a fan of Gocchin I am a little confused.  
 
Maybe it's because I am not a fan of the dance/trance music thing but I do not care much for the song and having Maki sex it up does not make the song any better.
 
On that note it seems that Maki has been sexing it up a lot as of late and I guess someone in H!P needs to cross that line to appeal to the more carnal tastes of the male fans...so the logical choice was to pick the sexiest girl (Gocchin is fine!!!)...but I think this is giving Maki that cheap slutty label...at least that is my fear :neutral: .
 
The video kind of reminds me of something that Madonna would do.  But she was always cool with the trampy whore image that made her famous...hell she even banged Dennis Rodman.  Is this the kind of image that people will think of when the think of Gocchin?  I really hope not.
 
Gocchin has always been sexy even before the last 2 PVs and latest PB.  I just hope people remeber that.

I, on the otherhand, don't see any sluttiness in this video whatsoever. It's just plain sexy-seductive, with class. Gocchin isn't half-naked and grinding against a pole or anything, or making out heavily with a guy...

I'm not a really big fan of goto like most of the people on this part of the forum so I guess I'll give my opinion as a outside source somewhat, since I haven't been following her last 5 singles or something.  

I think that she has definitely taken a turn for the worst, but I suppose there's not much we can do about it^^ I had to force myself to watch the entire video.  The reason I like JPop (and H!P most of the time) is because it DOESN'T have this kind of stuff in the videos (Britney Spears' "I'm a slave for you" esque / christina aisfduidjgula "dirty" esque) and frankly as a straight female fan I'm a bit disturbed

I'm a straight female as well, and don't find this video disturbing at all. Britney Spears had more "disturbing" videos, to be honest And people can't compare Gocchin to the likes of Britney and Christina, remember that even though you may find their videos "similar", one is catering to the Japanese market and the other is catering towards the US market.

And c'mon, you can't expect Gocchin to keep doing "Te wo Nigitte Arukitai"-like videos forever.

well as boobalicious as this video is, its not AS bad as some others. Its all sex, I mean with a title like "Some boys touch" whatta ya expect. Lets just hope 20 years from now she's not flashing a booby on national TV. My biggest prob with this PV is maki voice is just not low enough for the sultry image they portrayed. I like maki's voice, but it just didn't match the raw sex-appeal of the video. it was too high most of the time.

And as a straight male I don't find this video very disturbing.

For the sake of the single she can be Hot in the video and in performances, and then regular Gocchin the other 99% of the day. I was actually quite relieved when I first saw it because it was much tamer than I expected.

And as far as it being slutty :lmao: :lmao: no litterally I'm laughing because I find the video more funny and cute than anything. Maki isn't even good at looking sexy without injecting cuteness, so I'm affraid true sluttyness is out of the question, I mean she doesn't even let the boys touch.

Haha, thank you for that zoolander! And I agree. As sexy and seductive as Gocchin is, no matter how you look at it, she's still extremely cute. And of course, will still let out a giggle and impish grin now and then.

And yes, it's not like she's walking around in revealing clothing 24/7 and striking sexy poses during her off-screen time. She's still quite a shy girl, you know
