One of the best fights I've seen in a while. Secretly I'm glad Justin lost. A great player yes, but I just don't like the way he carries himself. Little too arrogant for my liking. I saw a number of matches last week or so between two Dhalsim and Fei Long players, the Dhalsim player in particular was very strong. Will have to try and find it.

I personally think the comparison is there because he's seen as the best player in the US, possibly in the West (certainly none as popular) whereas Daigo is without a doubt the best in Japan and the East, and IMO, the world. And like you say meowchi, he shows dignity and respect for whoever he fights against and whoever he uses. Can't say the same about Wong.

I like how at the end of each fight Daigo just picks up his man bag, offers a handshake and then he's on his way. He's like Ryu, always travelling to fight the next competitor lol

SFIV Developer to unveil new game at Comic-Con

Yoshinori Ono, the producer of Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV, will reveal his new game at San Diego Comic-Con next week.

"I am going to be at Comic-Con in San Diego on Saturday 24th of July!" Ono revealed in a tweet.

He later said: "I finally hope to reveal a bit about what I've been relentlessly working on lately."

Ono set online tongues wagging when he revealed via Twitter that Capcom big cheese Keiji Inafune had green-lit his next game.

He tweeted: "Super SF4 on sale!! SuperSF4 is nothing compared to what's coming!!"

Fans have speculated that the game is a Darkstalkers reboot. However, one game Ono has denied he's working on is Capcom vs. SNK 3. "Personally, I hope for it. But I don't have time. Will anyone make it? RT @GhostpilotZ: @ Yoshi_OnoChin How about a Capcom vs SNK 3?" he said, once again, via Twitter.

We'll know more next week.

Personally I think the finals are a good example of Honda's limitations, wiped out by Ryu (of course, it is Daigo) and while Adon was still trouble he was finally allowed to actually attack, and he won it out, it's a shame about Gamerbee though, being the new guy and making it with a character regarded as weak by most people, it would of been much cooler had it gone that way, especially since Ross had pretty much no chance of beating Daigo even if he did make it back through.

Oh and it's not Darkstalkers because people in the croud were chanting that to Ono and he said 'It's even better than that!' before he said the same about SSF4 later on.

Just started watching the matches as I wasn't much home this weekend (plus I was watching the World Cup finals). Great matches, and Daigo is still the supreme ruler of this "sport" called Street Fighter.
My main is Chun but everytime I see him play I feel like using Ryu as well, I mean I did use him a bit in Vanilla (the little I played).

I met a scrub for the very first time today. Playing as El Fuerte and I got his health down past halfway when the guy just kept spamming the same dash into a jumping body slam move over and over and over again. I could see it was a cross over attack so I tried blocking in the direction it was going to hit but to no avail. Even tried blocking both directions but no, still kept getting hit. Anyway I managed to escape, just as the last attack was going to hit me and I wailed a combo on him, made a throw which got him into a corner and then pummelled him something fierce and won the round and actually won the match as he set it to be 1 round only. The funniest thing is, he could have literally done a light punch, with me blocking and still have won that match, that's how low my health was

Also met my first rage quitter too, against a Sagat character ranked C+. I honestly don't see how though as he kept jumping and jumping and jumping which I easily counterattacked with shoryuken every time. Won the round convincingly, if I do say so myself, and he made another jump which I countered before he quit lol.
