I know this is old news but I just recently learned about this and is feeling pretty bad.

I doubt he'll be back on Mechaike. Sucks to lose a great comedian just like that.

dunno. I dont think it's raping though. Just sexual misconduct with a minor. and she turned to the police to fuck him over.

He's accused of having sex with a minor (i.e. someone who's not considered to be a legal adult). The girl he had sex with is under the age of 20, which is the age in Japan where you are legally considered an adult. Plus, as was said previously, the girl has now gone to the cops and accused him of raping her.

To be honest, I feel worse for his partner, who's career is now, unfortunately, royally screwed because of what's happened.

I don't think they could have really done much for him. >_< He was apologising on his partner's behalf to everybody for his partner's behaviour and I suppose given the circumstance, it would have been better to just leave him do as he deems best.

I just felt REALLY REALLY sorry for the guy. >_<
