If u guys haven't already know, Yossi is graduating from MM on May 6th. So which makes our beloved Mikitty the new leader(Ai-chan is sub-leader).

This next thing might offend some people but.. Now don't get me wrong, i love this girl as much as u guys here, in fact she one of my top 5 H!P members, it just she doesn't seem like a leader type rite? i mean she doesn't do anything as sub-leader and she seem like such a loner(although that's one thing i like about her believe it or not), she even admits it on her radio show that she doesn't hang out with the other members is it isn't necessary, doesn't even know most of their personal info or phone number. She usually keeps to herself, and may seem cold-hearted at times by what she said and her attitudes toward things(although that just makes her even sexier to me).
i mean her best friend in MM is yossi(according to me) and she graduating in 5 months and she doesn't seem to have a close relationship with anyone else on the group, does she? cuz i wouldn't know. so if u could acknowledge me..

So the question is how good of a leader will she be? Is she capable with such a task? It seem that the other members respect her don't they, so that may help her with this. She definitely seem like such a strong character doesn't she? I hope that she will succeed and may even become closer with all the other members, she could learn from them and in turns they could learn from her as well.

I HOPE MIKITTY THE BEST WITH MORNING MUSUME AND .......... oh that's rite, she also a part of GAM, it'll conflict with her being the leader of MM won't it? but i don't think it'll be much of a problem. She could probably handle both and more. OK so where was i.......oh yah....

Miki's gonna influence the young ones to be like her. Next thing you know, they'll be grabbing each other's you know what on screen. j/k

She doesn't look like the "ideal" leader material but she can be a leader. I was touched in the H!M episode where they were teaching some kids because it showed a different Miki; not the one who looks kickass in the Gatas uniform and not the one who looks so evil in the witch costume.Maybe being assigned to take care of the remaining members will show us a more mellow side of her.

Being a leader not necessarily means she has to do this, command that, shout at them, spank them on the butt when they do something wrong(knowing Miki, she'd probably like doing it though), etc. It's an opportunity for her to teach the younger members as well. And maybe her strong-willed attitude will rub on to them too to help them cope with their career and reality.

IMHO, she's not going to be a leader by example but a leader by experience

As for GAM and MM, she can handle it. She is the Fujimoto Miki after all.

I was just watching some MM videos, and I noticed how good Miki's vocals are. I think she's definitely one of the best, if not the best vocalist in MM.. She's a worthy leader

Up on Hello!Tracker they have version Aruiteru that was recorded on the girls' mics. It is split two girls for each file and you can hear those two girls above everything else. Listening to the Miki/Reina file, it is just complete justification on Miki's skill. At some points it is absolutely painful to listen to Reina because she is hella out of breathe, yet through out it all Miki sounds amazing. If half assing dance moves mean she can sound like that at the end of a 2 hour(?) concert, I say the girl shouldn't even be required to move.

To that recording was I refering to in the Odore tour thread to justify a little bit the lack of energy of Miki, but no one accepts it. I think Reina has a more visual job, she dances a lot and the whole concert, and Miki sings and dances only when she wants to or can. It's a little bit unfair, because in the DVD you notice that Miki is not dancing so much , but you can't appreciate that Reina is not singing at all because they edit her voice. And Miki is carrying the whole weight of the song.

I've just noticed that Mikitty has maybe the strongest vocals on M&M. Her voice is the most unique from the girls.

Miki seems pretty close to Aichan recently, I think their time on Yantan has made them pretty good friends.

Talent is not what makes a good leader. Esp. since as history has showed us, the leaders usually aren't front girls

I've always said Miki is not leader material. But I thought she was pretty good as a subleader. She seemed like someone that kept the girls in check. But I also thought it only really worked well with Yossi as the leader, she was a more experienced and more cheerful member who was a big contrast with Miki.

With Yossi leaving I don't know if Miki and Aichan becoming leader could lead to many positive things for the group. I pretty much just see it as an oppurtunity for the two of them to grow even more and get them prepared for their own graduations. Miki was always described as the wild child, and it is rumored that she was put into the group to keep her in check. Maybe this will be an opportunity for her to gain more responsibilty.
