This is a real guide to popularity imo. She was only able to get sales going back to April this year and i can update them each month as they come in.

Has sales ranks, but how are the figures? Are the sales on other H!P members available as well?

Most of those rankings aren't really old news on popularity, the fact that she sells less than most isn't too surprising, but lower than aika? That kinda surprises me. Seems like she's getting less popular.

I don't think there's much to worry about though.

As Himalia himself explained, there can be lots of factors that results in such a placing.

It may be due to lack of stocks, sudden rise in sales (due to new members joining, new PBs etc) place locations. And maybe the difference between the last few members is 1 yen each or something. So it doesn't mean that the last placed member sold badly, maybe the rest had a spike in sales.

so don't worry guys

I figured out that she became less popular since she's a leader of momusu. Miki has spent more time for her position as a momusu's leader,GAM's members & others leader's group of H!P . She didn't have a lot of time as Eri,Reina,Sayumi,etc....to enjoy the life of "idol singer",act in cute way or do some lovely stuffs,and people love that. Miki's way is different,as she gonna be a real "singer star".I think it's really a big bending & changing of her life and career after leave Momusu. And i'll wait for that

I dun think miki is a "tryin to be cute" type of gal, and yeah most ppl love the cutie cutie gal, but our miki is not like that hahaha I think she always see the time and place to act like that^^

Anyway, I was here in the thread and I was thinking, you know what would be great, in my opinion of course, a special episode of Ayaya Golf where Miki would be the guest !
They could even make it a GAM Golf Special !

Wouldn't it be lovely ? Miki in a skirt playing golf and not only that, she would be together with aya !

miki has always been "cool" and "tough"... even during her solo days, dare I say, a contrast to Ayaya's (former) bubbly persona... it could be seen from her (few) solo songs, (except, Boogie Train i suppose), to her image.

in her own cool way, the "cute" aspect comes out... not in an overly forced or "childish" way (sorry, but, ugh, reina), but in a more natural "miki" way. like, (hehe, sorry SitS), the way she seemingly likes to grope, her liking for niku, her death stare, etc... small things, which make up her cute aspect.

here's a farfetched theory..

japan has always loved 'cute'

and through time, Miki shifted from the "cute/cool" image from her solo days, into the "sexy/cool" sub-leader aura she has now.

and Maybe, that's why she's ranked lower amongst MM in those popularity/sales polls.

(though i like miki's sexy image as good as her cute side)
