Honestly? It was likely some porn movie where monsters did naughty and unnatural things to little girls in a blown up Tokyo. I saw a lot of those movies as a kid O.o The first anime I remember with an actual name is Sailor Moon. Heh.

The first anime..herm...Zettai Muteki Raijin Oh(The Matchless Raijin Oh).I watched it when I was 8 years old:pen_whirl:.It's bout primary school's boys and girls who fight with the 5 dimension demon used robot.I think this anime is the one of the yuusha series

The first anime I saw was Sailor Moon. I was 7 when the dub first came out

well before I knew it was anime, I watched the hell outta Robotech. Later I found out it was a bastardization of other anime titles. Then I started liking anime. After watching GI Joe and Transformers where tons of people are shooting at each other and no one gets hit or killed. Or where planes explode and pilots always bail out instantly it was freaky to see people die and blow up in Robotech. Horray for violence!

The first one was Captain Future, then Saber Rider. But this time we thought, these were american, 'cause the synchros came from us-version.

First Anime, I knew, that it is one : Sailormoon. But couldn't say someone, in germany its called a girls anime:oops:...but I'm not interested, what people say :p I watch, what I like.

of course ive seen sailor moon and such on cartoon, but i really dont consider it anime now that its been aired on American TV with english voices. The first "real" anime i watched was Ai Yori Aoishi, it is also my favorite.

The US-version of Sailormoon has got complete new characternames, when I'm right.
In Germany are only the japanese names spoken in english way. Usagi=Bunny, Rei=Ray
I could these syncho-studios :hits with chair: ...most german synchros are bad.
TV-senders are the same, they cut animes like OnePiece and Inuyasha for afternoon-program...

well if you count the original robotech in 82-83 then that would be the one or even voltron...
the first japanese language anime i remember was Hokuto no ken (Fist of the northstar) 86 no subs or anything but it was so cool though... then was vampire hunter d
