An elderly Hong Kong man is being treated in hospital after doctors found he was being eaten alive by maggots, health chiefs said.

^ yes the thing is maggots only eat 'dead' meat, at least they are supposed to :scratch

So it might be gross for cleaning wounds, but it seems to work.

That is definitely one of the worst ways to die, besides being one of the most (if not the most) disgusting. It's one of my fears as well, I don't want to die in a "disgusting" manner
