Sanju Bhagat's stomach was once so swollen he looked nine months pregnant and could barely breathe.

Living in the city of Nagpur, India, Bhagat said he'd felt self-conscious his whole life about his big belly. But one night in June 1999, his problem erupted into something much larger than cosmetic worry.

Oh my god. I was at a loss for words when I read it.. Glad the guy is ok but.. wow. Great read, I was on edge the whole article.

Part of me wants to see a pic of his twin, and part of me wants to smack myself for even considering it.

I saw that on ABC Medical Mysteries. They showed the parasitic twin. It kinda looked spider-like or something odd. it was on a medical slab.

Hehe, I saw the preview a couple days ago as well. I was going to watch the episode, but it seemed a little repetative. If you watch The Discovery Health channel, there's a show about that every couple of hours.

This sounds just like a stand alone episode that "The X-Files" had. I'm sure this type of thing has happened before because TXF takes things from real life and weaves it into fiction.

i've seen something similar online before, and learned this from my Embryology course too.
It's kind of scary that you have no idea of another "person" in your body and later found out..... gross!
