There's some guy here in my town who has 12 PS3s (60gig) for sale for 250 euro each. In stores they are around 550 euro each. So I guess they might be stolen or something.. I'm not sure whether to take the risk and get one or to report his ass.

Just got a PS3 60GB, new in unopened box for $400 off craigslist, as well as a Gamefly subscription.  It plugs into a 50" Samsung 1080p DLP TV.  Armored Core 4 rocks!

AC4 is ok. i hate the boring missions though. and the mad hardcore customization! and also getting pwned online by japanese players. (cuz no one plays in North American server)

Sadly, Madden 08 runs alot better on the 360 than my PS3. What's up Sony/EA? I'll have to consider my options when buying ported games now.

The issue is the framerate, mostly because EA has not had the PS3 dev kit as long as they have had the 360s. EA has said this was an issue but will be fixed by the next installment.

im playing superstar mode in madden right now (for the packers..which unfortunately sucks in the game). its so addicting!

do u guys know how to get rid of the jaggies in it? theres no video setting for it ingame

^ The FFVII remake is not true. What you saw was a demo recreation of the opening scene of FFVII by Square-Enix to demonstrate the PS3's graphical capibilities. As much as I wish it were true I'm afraid us fans have to live with the fact that it ain't happening.

Uncharted looks very promising. In fact if there's one thing about it that I want to see in more games, it's the dialog/humour. Not taking the story so seriously with a likeability in the main protaganist that's almost, dare I say it, Malcolm Reynolds-esque.

yea i just read about it. however it is not 100% confirmed that square enix will not make it. from the response of the customer support, they said SE dont have time as they are occupied with alot of project already ( namely KH3, FF13, FFv13, etc.. )
it's a shame that SE wont remake FF7..It's my fav FF series. Currently waiting for a US version for Crisis Core of PSP..

Final Fantasy Versus XIII looks promising..
And Devil May Cry 4 is also a tempting title. get some teasers and trailers from gametrailers.com if you want to see some high quality trailers & ingame experience.

I saw a preview of 'Bumpy Trot 2" aka "Steambot Chronicles 2".. looked very cool.. not the best graphics, but the style and atmosphere looked great. I hope they release it in Europe too..

Guess this is the only place I can post this, but what does everyone think of the mixed reviews of Assassin's Creed? In some cases it's scoring perfect 10's or high 9's, while other respectable sites are giving it a 7, and they're being generous. I've rarely seen a game having a divided view. Critics are claiming that repetitive missions, stupid AI and a short campaign is what's bringing the score down. But you know what, those things wouldln't bother me. I feel that the repetition aspect is only really highlighted if you play it over a short space of time (say, trying to complete it so you can write the review up on the next day). A short campaign again doesn't affect me if I have fun with it. You mean to say ICO's a bad game because of it's short length? Or Shadow of the Colossus? And with stupid AI, well, I've lived with that for all 3 MGS games.

Despite what the reviews say, I feel I'll take my time and enjoy it. It simply looks too good to me to pass up.

I love adventure games and I love games that deal with things that happened in the past, so I'm definitely going to get Assassin's Creed. I haven't read the reviews but I've seen the ratings, like the one from IGN who gave it a 7.7/10. I'm going to get it for 360, even though it was mentioned here.
