I agree with the tenkei, I love this song, much better than some of the recent stuff. They need more ballad-like stuff instead of the more overly sugary energetic stuff.

I think the PV is ultimate win (Koharu is もえぇぇぇぇぇ～！), but the song has a completely inappropriate arrangement. The Sharan Q version is excellent however.

I like the PV, but it doesn't change my opinion of the song at all. If it was more concise I might like it better, but at five minutes it drags on too long. Especially considering how much of that time is spent na-na-na-ing.

The PV is just brimming with cute.

Apart from the ultimate win.

What's sad is there's been no word if they're showing up on one of those music variety shows. I can imagine the potentially horrible performance, though. A bunch of unchoreographed pretty girls lipsynching to a really mellow-generic-pop-ballad. And I doubt the girls have much to say about the song for that matter.

They're gonna' need those new members quick.

i like the song. it's a nice change of pace from the more recent disco-esque songs. the pv is beautiful and simple. at 5min the song is a bit too long but you don't really feel it if you watch the pv. hehehe...

i don't think it's suitable for those music variety shows. it's more of a 'end of concert song with the girls waving to the fans while the credits are rolling' or a song to sing around the bonfire while camping^^

And I really don't get why so much negativity? I really think most people are forgetting that they are making this songs and performances for a Japanese audience with a Japanese mentality, and maybe that mentality leads them to see this song in a different way? Just my thoughts

I see your point, but I think it's safe to assume that a big percentage of that Japanese audience are tired of hearing the same encouraging words like "You're not alone", "Don't give up" etc.

Tsunku usually isn't this generic, where'd his crazy talk go?

I agree^^ I actually prefer it to Ambitious, since, like aimaime said, it's a nice change of pace (although Ambitious had a pretty cool dance routine! :ONbingo: LOL) The PV is

Whoa, this PV is corny in an embarrassing kind of way. And the song is so ... blah. I think this song and PV accurately reflects the current state of MM, which is uninteresting to say the least.

just watched the full PV...

wtf...

one of the shittiest PV's I've ever seen...

The only things I liked about it were the girl's outfits and Aichan putting her head on Miki's shoulder(which was just so unbelievably cute). i also couldn't help but feel that most of them were faking all that happiness crap... they just put off that vibe (except maybe eri, risa, and koha)

Being outdoors doesn't mean much when they don't really do anything...

Magazine interview on MM's latest single, notice theres a little bit of difference with Miki's hair, or is it just me

Translation of the 4 main questions:

Question 1 for Yossi (Y) + Kame (K)

What is the new single/song like?

K: People seem to take "walking" for granted.But if you listen to the song, read & think about the lyrics, you will realise and understand that "walking" is a very important part of our lives.

Y: Yea, although its unlike our usual upbeat songs, this song has a very strong meaning/message behind it. Even during live performances, we can feel that the fans feel very comfortable listening and enjoying it.

K: We also sing and dance this song with a soothing feel. The PV for this song was shot in a ranch and it was a fun experience.

Y: Yea, we have never shot a PV like this in a natural environment, so you'll see alot of happy images of us.

Question 2 for Miki (M) & Ai-chan (A)

How do you like people to praise you?

M: For me, i would love to have a partner that accepts me as i am so "Hmm you are good" will be nice.

A: I'm not very good at chatting so "Oh you are quite good at conversations" would be good. I'm always being reminded by the staffs and management to remember to speak more during radio shows and music variety programs.

M: Hmm, i think those words are said to take off the pressure off you, don't you think so?

A: Hmm, maybe its that way. Right now i think doing the radio show with sanma-san will help to train my conversation skills.

M: To get sanma-san to praise us like "Oo, you did well" makes you happy right. We are always being blamed/corrected by sanma-san so to be praised by sanma-san once in a while makes us relieved.

A: Yea, i feel more relieved than happy when being praised by him (laugh).

Question 3 for Michishige Sayumi (S) & Koharu Kusumi (K)

What words/phrases makes you full of vigour?

K: There's always some everyday !! even e-mailing friends lifts your spirits up.*cant explain properly the next 2 lines* Although words like "Do your best" are not said directly to you, encouraging words from families and friends make you happy.

S: I like to be encouraged with the words "It's all right" because unlike "Do your best" it doesn't put any pressure on you. On the first day of concerts, members often encourage each other with "It's all right" when they feel nervous before stepping onto the stage (laughs).

K: Un! I agree!!

Question 4 for Gaki-san (G) & Reina (R)

Any luxurious activities recently?

R: Recently, i have alot!! I ate shark's fins for the first time and it felt like "spring rain". (I think to indicate that it was a rare occassion because it rarely rains in spring) It tasted so delicious that it surprised me.

G: Hmm, didnt we ate shark's fin on one of the variety program before, and it tasted nice.

R: And i ate "some gyoza", it had shark's fin wrapped within it. It felt so good.

G: That sounds delicious. Recently when i went to a restaurant with Ai-chan, they had 6 types of dessert and since Ai-chan wanted to try all, we ordered everything. We ate everything up while mentioning "isnt this luxurious" to each other.

Because it has three editions, and the appeal is not only a different cover but the gifts, I think wota-power might make this #1 in ranks. Not that there is much competition on 11/08. I bet 40~50K on first week, also because of three editions coming with different gifts.
