Balalaika is back in the dailies! In the ranking for Wednesday 13 December the single scored 50th place. The miracle continues!

Considering her latest week she did #93 weekly, to be daily #50 today is... awesome? I think we need to create another adjective. This is kohasome!

what's even better, after last week's total sales count, she was just 60 copies behind aruiteru...so with this 50th place it looks like the long awaited miracle will happen next week

It happened something that many of us saw coming. Koi*Kana had a long success, and many of late-weeks buyers bought Balalaika inmediatly. I guess that if there is a third single, late-weeks buyers of Balalaika will get it on the first week. And again, more and more people will come to know her in the following weeks. I totally hope for this all to happen. 53K so far and no third single? I think she's definitely gonna have it. Attached or not to the anime, but now people (parents and kids) already knows her, which is the point

Get your adjectives ready, Balalaika is in the daily top 50 once again! After getting back in on Wednesday, dropping out on Thursday, she is now back in the rankings for Friday at 46th place, yay!

I still can't love Koha's songs

Dunno why.

Kirarin does not exactly have seasons, it has been airing non-stop weekly from the first episode (OA 2006-04-07).

This is the way the opening & ending themes have changed:

Following the logic of a new Opening Theme every 26 episodes (= 26 weeks = 1/2 year), the next one is due in April 2007. It could be changed earlier, perhaps depending on the story line.

But the big question is how long will Kirarin continue? Because the anime is adapted from the manga, the producers continue to make new episodes until they run out of material. Perhaps a new song will reflect some sort of "finale" in the story line? On the other hand, another 26 or 52 episodes may be possible depending on TV ratings and merchandize sales. One thing I know, Up Front is not complaining about the CD sales.
