Daily Oricon ranking for Sunday: 44th

Balalaika's last week in the Oricon charts was decidedly better than the previous week where the single didn't appear in the daily rankings. The sales may not be better though, the charts may have been more competitive in that week. But I think it is not unrealistic to hope for only a small drop in sales.

26 episodes is how long a season is, same as with most animes(though some are 13 and some are 24) and as with most current animes it's non-stop production whether season changes or not. Opening themes usually signify a new season.
I don't watch kirari revolution(i did watch about 5 eps but no more) but i really want another koharu single!! ^_^

I always thought average series length is 12/24 episodes o_O; But whatever~ I think the longer Kirarin Revo airs the better, but on the other hand if it'd become another neverending filler like Naruto, I don't think it would be that good for Koharu's popularity

Guess we gotta wait and see (I know that is a trivial remark lol).

I want another Koha-chan single too, and I wish she'll be able to pull it as herself and not as Kirari one day.

She's awesome. Balalaika got merits too, the song is super catchy

The more people sees the anime, or watches friends singing Balalaika at karaoke, the more people want the song!

In the daily ranking for Tuesday Balalaika is tied for 50th place. I didn't know that was even possible.

The ratio of total sales to first week sales is now 1.95 (55,095 / 28,132). With only 1,169 more sales needed, reaching the 2.0 ratio seems entirely possible.

In this case, a 2.0 ratio means that a single has sold as much in the weeks following the first (week 2, 3, etc.) as in the first week. Most of the sales of HP singles are in the first week, heck even on the first day. So it is a feat of accomplishment to double the first week sales. The ratio is always mentioned in the historical HP sales overviews posted on 2ch and livedoor bbs.

The only HP artist to achieve more than a 2.0 ratio recently was our lovely Kusumi Koharu-chan with Koi Kana. If she can do it again with Balalaika she proves her specialness even further.

I'd guess this is a Christmas rush, with parents scrabling to buy KR stuff for their kids who don't have their own disposable income. But either way, it's great to see an H!P single with legs.
