Hell yes to a sexy rock and roll single! She was amazing! Her voice was perfect. I hope someone at H!P notices how this style worked for her and makes her next single like this. They'd be a fool not to.

Have you heard the original version of DESIRE by Akina Nakamori? (I <3 Akinahime) I was quite sceptical about Maki's version to be honest, but she surprised me in a good way ^_^

Unfortunately I haven't seen Akina's original.

There's a topic similar to this in the H!P Crapola thread, but I thought it would be interesting to place it solely on Goto^^ That said:

What are your hopes for Goto in 2007? What would you like to see her accomplish in the upcoming year?

As for me, I'm hoping for another smashing album like 2 Paint It Gold (which, imo, is better than Third Station just because it doesn't have so many slow songs

LOL) and the continuance of her new sexy look and sound!

Goto is the only one in H!P who can carry the ero trend as fabulously as she does^^

I'm also hoping to see her get into a more rock style, especially after that perf of "DESIRE"

Her vocals are better than ever, and she has proved in the past that she can do a more rock-style song just as well as her pop stuff! Basically, I hope she continues to grow as an artist and continues to be the amazing success that she is^^

Goto is love wrapped in *WIN*!~

I love 2 Paint It Gold too! Although sometimes I toe the line because there are a few songs I absolutely love on Third Station.

I would love to see a new album as long as it isn't rushed. I think now that more people are starting to notice Gocchin, it's important that the next album be her best one, so take the time and effort needed to make it great! Don't release one just to release one, do it because you have a bunch of great songs that make up a great album.

I would also like to see the ero trend continue but make it versatile. Who says ero has to be mixed with just kawaii. How about ero-rock or ero-glam (I guess you could say glass no pumps was that style), there are endless possibilities. Maki's variety in her music and styles is one of the big reasons I was drawn to her, so branch out in many directions. (I hope I made sense with all that:ONcool2:)

I'm looking forward to seeing Maki kicking ass in the big H!P concerts again at the 10th Anniversary concert and I'd like to see some more acting with angsty Maki at some point too.

I agree with everything you said, zoolander (and I *definitely* think Goto should go ero-rock style!

LOL) but I couldn't agree with this statement more... While I personally can't wait for another album, I definitely understand the value of waiting to make it great! Not to go too off-topic, but I think rushing was probably the main reason why Ayu's new album didn't strike me as being as great as I know it could have been

I definitely don't want that to happen with Goto's next album. Hopefully UFA won't make her churn out something just to make the wotas happy

I'm looking forward to Goto's 4th album being her best too~ something that shows off how she has grown in her singing and style!
