Blood and Chocolate - 8/10

Cheesy in some parts, but way better than I expected. It was worth seeing in theatres, but I wish there were vampires. Werewolf movies should have vampires in them, it's just weird without them!

V For Vendetta - 8/10

Quote
Set against the futuristic landscape of totalitarian Britain, V for Vendetta tells the story of a mild-mannered young woman named Evey (Portman) who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked man (Weaving) known only as "V." Incomparably charismatic and ferociously skilled in the art of combat and deception, V ignites a revolution when he urges his fellow citizens to rise up against tyranny and oppression. As Evey uncovers the truth about V's mysterious background, she also discovers the truth about herself -- and emerges as his unlikely ally in the culmination of his plan to bring freedom and justice back to a society fraught with cruelty and corruption.

What can I say? I'm a sucker for movies about opposition to totilitarian governments.

Inconvenient Truth, Al Gore is a truly amazing speaker. I wonder what would of happened to the US if he won the state of florida.

Ooooh. Sin City. Nice one.

Definitely watched the Lion King and loved every minute of it. Sometimes it's nice to go back to your childhood. They don't make 'em like they used to. :P

Memoires of Matsuko - Ace film, reminded me alot of Amelie but much darker.

The Great Yokai War - Class bit of fantasy.

Mamiya Kyodai - Very nice heartwarming film.

Ebola Syndrome - Old school Hong Kong video nasty style, very funny.

The Marine - Not my choice to watch it, it was appalling, I fully advise you to avoid it.

"Are you my mummy?"
"Hello, Sweetie."
"Who's scruffy looking?"

Hero - 9/10

A truly great film only made worse by having your brother talking on his phone in the same room

8 femmes - 8/10
It was crazy, but good! I highly recommend it

Trust the Man - 5/10
I hated this movie the first time I saw it, but I appreciated it the second time around (oddly enough, my father adored this movie) I guess it's something you have to be old enough to get

Sukeban Deka - 4/10
This movie was lame, I'm sorry to report. Not enough Erika, if you ask me!
