Meet The Spartans

Pretty lame overall, but it did have some hilarious parts in it (like when they started 'marching' off to fight, haha).

Superman II - Just finished watching it (though certainly not for the first time), it truly is amazing. I feel sorry for anyone who hasn't seen the this film, the others are okay at best but this is honestly one of my favourite films of all time...I think I quote this film more often than I speak normally!

I did see Meet the Spartans a few days ago which was the last "new" film I watched; I really really wished I hadn't bothered. :( I'm just glad I didn't pay to go and see it at the cinema.

10,000 B.C.

Now this was a good movie!  You can never go wrong with a shirtless Steven Strait too ~ Even with the ratty hair, haha.
Some of my friends didn't like it and said it was boring, yeah, probably because they didn't understand it. I wouldn't be surprised.

^ I dunno seems a bit nonsensical to me. I heard there were pyramids included in the film, but they weren't even in existence then.

Well yeah, I'm not saying the movie was absolutely correct or anything, but that the people who watched it didn't understand the plot  XD

Saw the Jumper. It wasn't too great. Cool idea, poorly executed.
and
the Bank Job. Decent movie.

My friends who saw 10,000 B.C. said they didn't like it either. lol. I guess they didn't understand it either.

The Curse Of The Golden Flower - 6/10

Rather light on the martial arts and spectacle (although the final battle is epic) and there was something about the whole thing which didn't really click with me. More soap opera than Shakespeare. Although the acting was top-notch.

Doomsday

It was...... interesting.   It was like 28 Days Later, Mad Max, Lord of the Rings, Fast and the Furious, Mission Impossible and Aliens all in one.  There was even dancing in it.  A lot of WTF moments... Dancing Fat guys, then eating humans, then all of a sudden, a medival pit fight, to a bentley car chase
word.

Blood Diamond, it was meh; which was disappointing considering I'd heard so many good things about it.

I love that movie. Li Gong is amazing. She spoke English for the movie Memoirs of a Geisha and she didn't even know the language. She did it all phonetically, just pronouncing the words. But she's even more amazing in Curse of the Golden Flower because she's a focal character and speaking her own native language.

I'm a big fan, haha.

But I think that her contribution to the movie aside, it was a really well made movie in so many ways. Cinematography alone was perfect. The only real problem I found with it was some of the script itself. It was a little overdone. Like over-acting, but for script-writing.

Stacy.

It's about girls all over the world turning into zombies and some stuff.

It was...a thing.  Not the worst I've ever seen.

I might see Shutter this weekend but that's questionable.

I just watched I am Legend. I liked it, but I don't think it lived up to all of the hype it got.
That and I just wasn't in the mood for something depressing.

"Apocalypto" again, cause it's such a damn great movie..

Quote from: Robert Duvall (star of Apocalypse Now)
Maybe the best movie I’ve seen in 25 years is Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto. Brilliant. I said to my wife, ‘is this as good or better than Apocalypse Now?’ She said, ‘it’s more complete.’
